She is reborn! God has heard our prayers. Yes! Britney made her big appearance on How I Met Your Mother yesterday, and, something special also happened on Monday too. She got back to work! Momma Spears was spotted at the Alleycat Recording Studio in Hollywood. Now that she’s seeing her kids again and her dad has helped her get better, Britney is getting her career back on track (we hope). We’re ready for a proper comeback. You can do it, girl!!! Ashton Kutcher Still Can’t Make ‘Sense’ Of Brittany Murphy’s Death

Cohen/WireImage Almost six months after his former co-star and girlfriend Brittany Murphy died unexpectedly at the age of 32, Ashton Kutcher says he still cannot make sense of her passing. In his first in-depth public comments about Murphy’s death, Kutcher told ABC’s “Nightline,” “I don’t think you can [make sense of her death]. I don’t know if you try to make sense of it or not. I just celebrate who she was. She was like the person who walked in the room and she was always, like, the first person to dance. “You know when you go to a party and everybody is standing around and the music is going and, you know, sooner or later everyone is going to dance,” he continued. “She was always the first person to dance. And I just try to connect to that and celebrate who she was and how she was and not make sense of it, ’cause there is no sense of making sense of it.” MTV News got an inside look at Kutcher and Murphy’s relationship when we visited the set of their 2003 film, “Just Married.” “I learn something from that girl every day. She is a pro,” he said. “She just brings it, man. She’s really, really awesome. She makes me smile every day. She shows me something about my job every day. She’s the best, man. I’ll do anything with her, any movie, hands down.” But the couple eventually split and Murphy was long dogged by rumors of drug abuse and eating disorders. Her death in December 2009 was officially ruled a result of pneumonia. Bret Michaels May Return To Tour In Two Weeks

By Gil Kaufman Bret Michaels Photo: Kevin Mazur/ WireImage Bret Michaels is reportedly working extra hard in physical therapy in the hopes of making his return to the stage before month’s end. The Poison rocker, who suffered a nearly fatal brain hemorrhage last month, was discharged from a Phoenix hospital on May 4. And according to People magazine, he is aiming to be back on the road in time for a May 28 show at the Hard Rock in Mississippi. Though a spokesperson for Michaels could not be reached for confirmation at press time, an unnamed source told the magazine that the singer is stepping up his physical therapy to get back in shape for the show on his postponed Roses & Thorns tour. That outing was first interrupted when Michaels underwent an emergency appendectomy on April 12. “He’s still in rehab,” said the source. “His doctor told him to do physical therapy once a day, but he’s doing it twice a day, because he wants a speedy, 100 percent recovery.” It’s possible Michaels is pushing hard in order to make it to the May 23 finale of “The Celebrity Apprentice.” The source said that Michaels’ crew is providing his bus drivers with directions to the closest hospitals all along the tour route should the 47-year-old singer face complications. At a May 4 press conference, Michaels’ doctors said he was doing well, walking and talking and expected to make a 100 percent recovery. At the time, physicians said he was still subject to painful blood clots, back pain and headaches. His doctor predicted at the time that Michaels might be able to resume regular activities within four to six weeks, but said that he warned Michaels not to make any promises about when he would get back to work. And while they were all there to celebrate young Hollywood’s finest, Robert Pattinson’s 24th birthday was also on some minds — well, particularly when MTV News asked them about it on the red carpet. “Rob, I hope you have the best birthday ever, and let me know where your party is,” Stephanie Pratt addressed the “Twilight” star via MTV News. “I will be there!” Chelsea Staub from the TV show “JONAS” seemed to want to join Pratt at Pattinson’s birthday bash. “If you want to party, give me a call,” she said. “Happy birthday!” Vanessa Hudgens said with a giggle. “I whole-heartedly wish you a happy birthday,” “The Buried Life” star Ben Nemtin said. His gal pal, “The City” star Whitney Port, added simply, “Happy birthday!” The conversation very quickly turned to what these young Hollywood stars would give Pattinson for his big day. “A fish taco, ’cause fish tacos are really good,” Nemtin said. “And if you haven’t had one for your birthday, you should have one.” Hudgens was reluctant to presume what RPattz would want. “I met him once or twice. I don’t really know him,” she said. “I don’t know what he likes. So, I hope he has a good one.” Staub had the perfect gift idea: “Some ear plugs,” she suggested for the actor who’s greeted worldwide by screaming girls. “Because I’m sure he’s going to have hearing damage by the time his career is over.” Pratt, however, decided to take her gift to the next level. “Probably a tux to wear to our wedding,” she said. ‘Iron Man 2’ Star Mickey Rourke On The ‘Fight’ To Be A Unique Villain

By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Mickey Rourke in “Iron Man 2” Photo: Paramount Pictures Even Mickey Rourke is a little surprised that he stars in “Iron Man 2” as a metal-toothed, tattoo-skinned villain named Ivan Vanko. First off, his career up until his casting — white hot ’80s star, then Hollywood has-been, then amateur boxer and finally Oscar-nominated actor for “The Wrestler” — is not exactly the most conventional route to a starring turn in a mainstream-genre blockbuster. But, after the first “Iron Man” grossed $585 million worldwide, Robert Downey Jr. and director Jon Favreau decided they wanted Rourke — and Rourke is exactly who they got. “Like I say, time changes people and thank God the [first] movie made a lot of money due to Robert and Favreau’s direction and insight and passion for filmmaking, so they had enough juice where they could go, ‘Oh, let’s put Mickey Rourke in the movie,’ ” the actor told MTV News. “And they fought for me to be in the movie and I’m very grateful for that.” And once Rourke got the part, he had some very specific ideas for Vanko and his electrified tendril-outfitted alter ego, Whiplash. “I said to Favreau, ‘I don’t want to make him a one-dimensional meanie, a bad guy like they do in a lot of movies,’ ” Rourke explained. Rourke had in mind the villains from old Sergio Leone Westerns played by the likes of Eli Wallach or Henry Fonda. He also wanted Vanko to have a mouthful of metallic dental work, a body covered in tattoos and a white cockatoo of whom he is quite fond. “[Favreau] had to fight for the teeth and the tattoos and the bird. Everything was a little bit of a fight,” Rourke said. “The Marvel people, who could have easily said no, said yes. It’s a beautiful day. I got my boy DJ Holiday with me, first on sight. It’s about to go down, man.” “MTV, I told you we was gonna be here, baby,” Holiday said. “It feels good to be here,” Lo continued. “It’s finnin’ to be a very long summer. So MTV, y’all stay tuned. MTV, let’s get it.” Lo and Gucci’s friendship is based on many things, but they definitely have run-ins with the law in common. Shawty said he can relate to Gucci’s struggles in music and with the police. “Basically, me and Gucci, when my career started and Gucci’s career started, we was in the struggle. We was blackballed,” Lo said. “So me and Gucci, we feel like we’re brothers from a different mother. Just to be here, man, it feels good to be here. I been arrested 28 times, and I been convicted four times, so I know how it feels. The hip-hop police got it in [for us]. But at the end of the day, I’m here, thick or thin.” Holiday said that his and Lo’s support is genuine and not for publicity. “I ain’t about getting that look. Gucci Mane To Be Released From Jail Wednesday

By Jayson Rodriguez, with additional reporting by MTV News staff Gucci Mane Photo: Rick Diamond/ Getty Images Gucci Mane is set to be freed from prison on Wednesday, just six months into a one-year sentence for a parole violation , and a rep for the MC told MTV News that the rapper will hold a press conference immediately upon his release. According to a spokesperson for Georgia’s Fulton County Jail, however, the rapper’s release time on Wednesday is yet to be confirmed. The spokesperson told MTV News on Tuesday (May 11) that Gucci Mane will be subject to routine check for any warrants that may have been issued during his incarceration. Pending the result of the check, he will be free to walk out of the facility. The actual time of his release, though, will be determined based on the backlog of prisoners also being released on that particular day. Gucci was sent to prison in November of last year after violating his probation for a second time, resulting in him being forced to finish a suspended sentence that he had already served six months of in 2008. Upon his last release from jail, the rapper picked up his frantic work pace and once again hit the mixtape circuit hard , increasing his profile to its highest point and resulting in a nod on the 2009 MTV News’ Hottest MC list. During his imprisonment, Gucci Mane has kept himself just as busy. His most recent album, The State Vs. Radric Davis was released to critical acclaim and another project, The BurrrPrint 2HD, was partially recorded behind bars and presented via his new label, 1017 Brick Squad. At press time, the nature of the rapper’s press conference was unclear; it’s believed Gucci Mane will address the recent firing of his manager and booking agency. Both entities drew fire in an that alleged improper business tactics. I am not really sure why Tila Tequila hassn’t killed herself officially yet….because I know that most people who fall as hard as she did into insanity probably would, but then again everytime I leave my house I come across insane homless people screaming at people, or screaming at their own reflections in the mirror, reminding me that despite suicide being the logical choice, crazy people don’t always make logical choices…. I guess it’s got something to do with her not wanting to die just because her career is, and figures that even if she can’t land another TV show, and from here on out it’ll be bottom feeding projects and bottom feeding publicity stunts, she might as well try because it gives her something to do and really her first stab at fame came with little effort, maybe miracles strike twice…and as long as she’s doing it with her half naked dwarf body exposed, I’ll still watch and laugh at the trainwreck, but would really prefer if she was doing it with two fingers in her vagina at all times….cuz fake tit cleavage in a dress is not very innovative these days….it’s time for her to get with the fucking program… Pics via Fame
