According to CNN, the grand jury heard testimony from Tyler Hadley#39;s uncle along with the lead detective in the case, the medical examiner and a crime scene investigator. “We felt there was sufficient evidence to support the first-degree murder charges, and we planned all along to submit the case to the grand jury,” said Tom Bakkedahl, assistant state#39;s attorney for St. Lucie County, Fla. “It#39;s the first step in a long journey.” Tyler Hadley, the Florida 17-year-old who allegedly blud
Those Moms…..always starved for male attention after wrecking their bodies…I see how they look at me as they breast feed in the park…in disgust…but as far as I’m concerned looking at me in disgust is fucking foreplay and they actually like me watching…. Only in this case, Alba is taking her typical Alba stance, that can be found in all her shitty movies, and that’s by not being nude…and just being subtly erotica….
Kelly is still talking about her childhood insecurities. Kelly Rowland covered Runway magazine and had some touching revelations about her childhood: “I went to a predominantly white school and I was the only black girl. I can remember thinking, ‘I don’t want to be as dark as I am – I want to be a little fairer.’ I didn’t want to be me. Tina [Beyonce’s mother] sat me in front of the mirror and said, ‘Girl, look at how pretty you are.’ She made me feel comfortable in my own skin,” Rowland told Runway. We’re glad Kelly realized how fine she is and was able to get a career and inspire chocolate women across the world.
This is that bull… Remember when John Galliano was accused going off on racist rants in public on a regular basis earlier this year? He was actually found guilty of those crimes today. But that means almost absolutely nothing. The controversial Brit, 50, was found guilty Thursday of making “public insults” based on origin, religion, race or ethnicity after two incidents at a bar in February, 2011 and October, 2010. (Neither case was directly related to a third incident – Galliano’s infamous video in which he professed his love for Hitler). Under French law, Galliano could have faced up to six months in prison and a fine up to $31,622, but the flamboyant designer won’t be required to serve any time behind bars. Instead, the court imposed a fine of 6,000 euros ($8,500) , but suspended it — meaning he will not have to pay it, unless he is convicted of any crime in France for five years. Instead, he was ordered to pay a symbolic one euro fine to one of the plaintiffs in the case. (He was, however, ordered to pay a 90-euros court cost to the French government). Galliano was not in court to hear the ruling, but he did attend the trial itself, which lasted one day on Wednesday. Speaking to reporters outside the courtroom, his attorney Aurélien Hamelle called it a “wise decision” and said that Galliano was “very relieved.” The AP quoted the judge in the case as saying Galliano had “sufficient awareness of his act despite his addiction and his fragile state,” but that the court took Galliano’s apology to the plaintiffs into account and noted the “values of tolerance” in the designer’s work. In other words, in this “post racial word” we can act like racists aren’t racist as long as they apologies for their bigotry and at least SEEM like they mean it. Source
They say to write what you know. Unfortunately, in the case of screenwriter Will Reiser, what he knew was cancer. Six years ago, Reiser was diagnosed with cancer in his back, and — after surgery to remove the tumor — decided to handle the life-changing situation the only way he knew how: by finding the humor. Thus, 50/50 was born.
It’s not just the hoes that are gettin’ rained on in this case… The Texas law that imposes a $5-per-customer fee on nude dancing establishments does not violate free speech rights, the Texas Supreme Court ruled today. The unanimous ruling validates the so-called “pole tax,” created by the Legislature in 2007 but found to be unconstitutional by the 3rd Court of Appeals. “We think a $5 fee presents no greater burden on nude dancing,” Justice Nathan Hecht wrote for the court. “The fee is not a tax on unpopular speech but a restriction on combining nude dancing, which unquestionably has secondary effects, with the aggravating influence of alcohol consumption.” The ruling overturns the 3rd Court’s opinion that the $5 fee was improperly based on the content of protected speech because it singled out nude dancing. The opinion returns the case to Travis County District Court to address claims that the fee also violates the Texas Constitution. $5 per customer can add up to a nice lil piece of change just to see something strange. We’re sure some strip clubs will just add that fin to the admission price to get in the club. No bueno mane… Source
Sexually exciting news: This week’s important new movie Spy Kids: All the Time in the World 4D (that’s not the sexually exciting part) is both “futuristic” and “sci-fi” — which means we have reason to revisit the futuristic, sci-fi lovefest of Logan’s Run . Hooray! It’s one of the most decadent, senselessly gorgeous Bad Movies We Love of all time. Better we re-watch it now than after the remake comes out and destroys our nostalgia. Are you ready for ray guns, cult-like “carrousels” of death, and the hirsute hotness of Peter Ustinov?
Fighter piloting is inherently cinematic, so when a new movie comes out in the vein of Memphis Belle and Top Gun , I already hear the swells of music and gunfire. But in the case of Red Tails , the new Anthony Hemingway drama that arrives in theaters January 20, the grace of the genre is replaced with spotty dialogue and catatonic performances. Cuba Gooding Jr., you may as well call this movie Plane Trip .
We observe Gaga in her natural habitat, with a good bottle of whiskey, in Bigger Than the Sound. By James Montgomery What is Lady Gaga’s blood doing on the floor? We’ll find out soon … Photo: James Montgomery/MTV News Lady Gaga is sitting down, which is probably a good thing, considering she’s wearing 6-inch heels and has spent roughly seven hours drinking whiskey with dudes who look like they were roadies for Bang Tango . Drinking wasn’t the only thing she did, of course. She also danced, vamped, sang, bled and underwent more costume changes than Evander Berry Wall — all over the span of one very long day on one very big soundstage in New York City. I’m not allowed to write about exactly what she was shooting (at least not yet), but suffice it to say, Gaga certainly deserved a few minutes of rest. Especially since she had spent the first part of the day filming a wearing an outfit that could only be described as “houndstooth overdrive.” And yet, throughout the day, as the top-secret shoot went on and on, I never heard her complain — not even close. At one point, during a performance setup, when the director asked if she’d be willing to film another take, she joked, “My voice can only last for another hour and a half … the rest of me can go all night.” Everyone laughed, and not just because it was a funny line. There was an air of astonishment mixed in too. Simply put, no one seemed to believe that a star of this caliber would be this willing to work. And then work some more. While it was certainly amazing to watch Gaga come to life when the camera was rolling, her work ethic isn’t exactly breaking news. In a way, it was even more fascinating to observe her in the moments when it wasn’t. Last year, I followed her every step at the Video Music Awards and discovered that, beneath the 35 pounds of Argentinean beef, she was actually a pretty normal person. That was only amplified Monday, on this soundstage in New York, in the rare moments she wasn’t wowing everyone in attendance. Surrounded by her closest friends — all of whom were extras in the shoot, and some of whom came dressed in their Steel Panther finery — she was decidedly down-to-earth. Shockingly average, even. She cracked jokes, held hands, poured drinks. She danced and cooed with her old friend Lady Starlight while “Heavy Metal Lover,” a standout track on her Born This Way album, blared overhead. She whooped for joy whenever someone she hadn’t seen in a while (and given her schedule, that was pretty much everybody ) appeared on set. In fact, she seemed very much like every 25-year-old you’d meet, despite all evidence to the contrary. Getting to be a fly on the wall is certainly one of the perks of this job; it allows you to see the mega-famous at their least guarded — for better or (as is sometimes the case) much worse. But it’s the few instances I’ve been able to hover around Gaga’s inner circle that remain the most revelatory, mostly because, as I wrote last year, her public persona is somewhere along the lines of “a pneumatic lion tamer with a penchant for creative haberdashery, or a fire-breathing neo-Shiva in sunglasses.” To see her unwind with her pals, well, let’s just say it’s the kind of thing you don’t forget, mostly because it’s the most normal thing imaginable. Which, given pretty much everything you think you know about her, is downright unimaginable. So while I can’t tell you what I watched being filmed, I can tell you that Lady Gaga enjoys Jameson and has excellent comedic timing. And that told me more about her than any of her videos ever could. To a certain extent, we all think we know who Gaga is, even if that’s not really the case. At ease, with a glass of strong booze, enveloped by her confidants — that’s the girl few of us get to meet, which is a shame. She seems like a really fun person to hang out with. What do you imagine Lady Gaga is like behind the scenes? Let us know in the comments! Related Photos A Day In The Life Of Lady Gaga Related Artists Lady Gaga
The judge in the Casey Anthony case ordered the names of the jurors to remain secret for their protection, tearing the media a new one in the process. Judge Belvin Perry cited the “circus-like atmosphere” around the trial in the name of entertainment rather than justice for putting the jurors at risk. Jury members’ identities will be sealed until at least October 25. “The jurors in this case face the possibility of substantial injury if their names are made public,” Perry ruled, according to the Orlando Sentinel . Casey Anthony Verdict Reading Florida law requires that the names be released, but Perry will not “until sufficient time has passed to allow those enraged by the verdict and who might instinctively react with violence to compose and restrain themselves.” He again cited the case’s “unique and alarming circumstances.” Perry also took the opportunity to take the media to task. Scathingly, he wrote: “Clearly, the broadcast of an official and serious court proceeding such as this trial where a young girl was dead and her mother faced the death penalty devolved into cheap, soap opera-like entertainment.” The use of the state’s public records law to have the juror names released, the judge lamented, had “become simply a tool to sell a story.” Casey Anthony, 25, was found not guilty on July 5 of murdering her 2-year-old daughter Caylee, sparking outcry and even death threats . The media frenzy hasn’t slowed since that date. In fact, it may intensify as the first Casey Anthony interview is being shopped around.
