Yesterday, we reported that Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart are back together after the couple was spotted making out on the American Idol set in plain view of dozens of cast and crew members. The semi-public confirmation that they’re back on came after months of speculation and rumors about Cassie and J-Lo meeting up for secret rendezvous. Now it seems there was no real reconciliation, after all – because Jen and Casper never really broke up. TMZ is reporting that the couple faked their breakup for publicity purposes. Apparently, in the months leading up to the release of Jen’s most latest movie, The Boy Next Door, the studio hoped to sell more tickets by spreading rumors about Lopez dating Ryan Guzman – her co-star in the film. For his part, Casper was apparently starring in a UFC-themed flick called Street (We’ve never heard of it, either.) and producers thought he would be a bigger box office draw if he appeared to be single. So does this mean there’s no truth to the rumors about Casper cheating with Sofia Vissa ? Lil Wayne and Christina Milian are totally together. The duo stepped out in public holding hands for the first time since rumors of their romance began. Last week, Zayn Malik quit the current One Direction tour and returned to the UK to be with his fiancee, Perrie Edwards. There were rumors that Malik cheated on Edwards and was rushing back to England in order to save his relationship. The members of One Direction and the band’s PR team have maintained that Malik was simply fed up and stressed out and couldn’t stomach being on tour any longer. It looks like another one has officially bitten the dust for the perennially mercurial, unlucky-in-love Teen Mom 2 cast member Jenelle Evans. Radar Online is reporting that after a whirlwind two-year relationship, she and fiance-baby daddy Nathan Griffith have officially called it quits. Nathan and Jenelle got engaged back in January, but their romance soured soon after, and a series of bizarre events culminated in their split. The couple’s problems were frequently made public, such as when Jenelle wished death on Nathan’s brother and the incident was captured in a viral video. Shortly thereafter, Nathan was caught flirting with Stevie Ryan and trashing Jenelle in a series of Twitter messages that were also leaked on social media. Just last week, Griffith was arrested for domestic violence following an altercation with Jenelle (who was also arrested on unrelated charges this month). That seems to have been the final straw for the romance, which had weathered plenty of ups and downs in the past, but nothing on this insane level. Earlier today, Griffith’s friend Josh Friedman tweeted about helping him move out of the house Griffith shared with Jenelle and their baby son. Jenelle and Nathan are parents to 7-month-old Kaiser. That didn’t take long. Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff are already broken up … according to a new tabloid cover from an unreliable source, anyway. The Bachelor spoilers don’t indicate anything of the sorts happened, but Life & Style claims Soules cheated on Whitney, and with her best friend! On this week’s finale, after he sent home Becca Tilley not really broken-hearted, Chris and Whitney finally made their public debut as a couple. On the After The Final Rose live show, the pair who gushed about wanting to get married all season long said there was no wedding being planned. Instead, they said, they just want to live as a “normal couple.” Fair enough, but from Soules and Bischoff, this came as something of a surprise … as is Chris going Dancing With the Stars starting next week. This turn of events has raised a few red flags among card carrying members of Bachelor Nation, with some speculating that they’ve already split. How you get from that to the tabloid cover above, proclaiming “Chris & Whitney Over Already: He Slept With Her Best Friend,” is beyond us, however.
