Taylor Lautner To Join Adam Sandler In ‘Grown Ups 2’

‘Twilight Saga’ star will take on ‘fun’ role in sequel to the hit 2010 comedy. By Jocelyn Vena Taylor Lautner Photo: Jeff Kravitz/Film Magic If you’ve been itching to see Taylor Lautner flex his comedy chops more on the big screen, this news is for you. The “Twilight Saga” star has just nabbed a role in the sequel to 2010’s “Grown Ups,” according to The Hollywood Reporter . Lautner will join most of the original cast in the sequel including its leading man Adam Sandler, as well as Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, Maya Rudolph and Salma Hayek. “Project X” star Oliver Cooper also recently joined the cast. Director Dennis Dugan will be back to helm “Grown Ups 2.” Sources say that the big-screen werewolf “will make an appearance in a ‘fun’ role, in which he goes toe-to-toe with Sandler.” The role marks a departure for Lautner, who previously angled more toward action-based blockbusters like the “Twilight” flicks and “Abduction,” which was a Stateside box-office dud but managed to gross $82 million worldwide. The first “Grown Ups” film earned $162 million domestically and $271 million worldwide. The film follows a group of friends who reunite as adults after their high school basketball coach dies. While no further production details about the film are being reported, Lautner does have a busy 2012 ahead of him. He’s set to work with Gus Van Sant in his next indie, the final “Twilight” film, “Breaking Dawn – Part 2,” opens in November and since mid-2011, he has been attached to the big-screen adaptation of the YA novel “Incarceron.” Lautner also recently dropped out of a starring role in “Stretch Armstrong” after being attached to that project for some time. Jason Biggs Goes Full Frontal In ‘American Reunion’

Cast talks to MTV News about seeing everything in the fourth theatrical flick of the ‘American Pie’ series. By Ryan J. Downey Jason Biggs in “American Reunion” Photo: Universal Pictures Jason Biggs famously humped a dessert in what became the most memorable scene in “American Pie.” Now, more than a dozen years later, an older (but obviously not much wiser) Jim Levenstein ups the ante in “American Reunion” by going full-frontal in that very same kitchen. “My penis — the nerve, you ready? — went and got an agent after the first test screening of the movie,” the actor joked with MTV News while doing press for the fourth theatrical “American Pie” flick, on which he served as a co-executive producer in addition to reprising the role that made him famous. “It tested through the roof, my penis did. It was the highest-scoring character in the movie. It scored a 97, which — I don’t know if you’ve been to these things — is amazing. It went and got an agent, signed with [Creative Artists Agency]. I’m not even with CAA.” “American Reunion,” as the name implies, reunites the cast from the raunchy but warm-hearted teen comedy series that began with “American Pie” in 1999. “American Pie 2,” “American Wedding” and a handful of direct-to-DVD “American Pie Presents” movies followed. In “Reunion,” the gang gets back together in their old town. Jim is still married to “band camp” gal Michelle (Alyson Hannigan). Now raising a young son, the couple is going through some difficulties adjusting to adulthood. After a night out with Stifler (Seann William Scott), Finch (Eddie Kay Thomas) and the rest of the boys, Jim awakens in his old kitchen stark naked. Michelle and Selena (Dania Ramirez) burst in on him unexpectedly and they see everything. So will audiences when the film opens on Friday. “If they didn’t show Jason Biggs’ penis [in ‘American Reunion’], I was out,” joked Scott, who also served as a co-executive producer. “Or John Cho’s mustache,” added Thomas. “I needed both of those things in big bold letters at the top of the contract. Neither are on the poster, which is weird.” Biggs is aware that the risky full-frontal scene puts “Reunion” in the same category as last year’s critically acclaimed drama “Shame,” which generated quite a bit of buzz thanks in part to Michael Fassbender’s similar bravery. “‘Boogie Nights,’ ‘Shame’ — those are [my penis’] competition. It’s an elite group of penises out there right now,” Biggs said, smiling widely. “The thing is, he’s got a lock on the comedy. Well, that’s not true, because of [Jason] Segel [in ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall’]. Really, it’s those two penises that are in the hunt for all of the sort of primo comedy penis roles.” “How I Met Your Mother” star Hannigan had some thoughts of her own about Biggs’ career aspirations. “It’s weird that [your penis] so desperately wants to be an actor,” she weighed in. “I always thought he would be such a great director since he’s always telling you what to do.” Biggs laughed loudly, conceding, “Ahhh, well done!” Thomas and Scott agreed that the latest chapter, which was written and directed by the “Harold & Kumar” duo of Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, carries on a tradition of authenticity. “The whole movie kind of comes from that honest place. It’s not like, ‘Oh, let’s show some boobs,’ ‘Oh God, I’m terrified I’m going to be a virgin for the rest of my life.’ And ‘Oh, my god, it’s really scary that we’re 30 all of a sudden and we’re at our high school reunion,’ ” Thomas said. “I think Jon and Hayden wrote a script that came from an honest place,” he added. “That’s what got us all onboard for this one.” Check out everything we’ve got on “American Reunion.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Mike Tyson Likes Jesus of the Day

I don’t watch TV, especially not late night talk shows….that shit fucking bores me, but since we’re rolling into Easter, a time to celebrate Jesus’ death and his becoming a Zombie, for all to celebrate for 2000 years, blindly, thinking he’s got their back….I think this Mike Tyson joke is appropriate, especially for what we do here….. Maybe it is the fact I don’t have black dick or millions of dollars, cuz even though my name is Jesus, I’ve never heard a bitch drop it when fucking me, but in her defense, or maybe in my defense of my shitty performance and humiliating sized penis, that is great for anal, she was asleep, medicated, high, or beat the fuck up… Maybe I’m darker that Mike Tyson in my comedy not in skin color. I approve of this message: LIKE US ON FACEBOOK EVEN IF YOU DON’T LIKE US

4 Things Friends With Kids Can Teach Hollywood About Adult Comedy

For an independently produced comedy that mostly revolves around adults talking to each other — sometimes with child accessories — in varying degrees of inebriation, Friends with Kids is finding a modest amount of success. It’s not perfect , but somehow it manages to be funny without any accidental drug trips, grandmas shooting guns at the dinner table, or Tom Cruise rescuing Cameron Diaz from a crashing plane. Writer-director-co-star Jennifer Westfeldt has returned us a bit to the days of comedies of manners, instead of the awful dichotomy between shrill “romantic” comedy and Apatovian gross-out comedy where Hollywood seems stuck these days. In that spirit, here are four lessons future adult comedies should take from Friends with Kids . [Spoilers ahead.] 1. Skip (most of) the bathroom jokes. Bridesmaids it isn’t. While there is one major on-screen poop joke in Friends with Kids, it actually made me breathe a sigh of relief, because at least we didn’t have to see the bodily function in action. As soon as Megan Fox walked across from a baby with “explosive diarrhea” — diaper ominously absent — I started dreading seeing an explosion in her direction. Hence my gratitude, and surprise, when it never came. (This is an admittedly low bar — eventually I’d love to see Adam Scott or Kristen Wiig in a romantic comedy that ignores the bathroom altogether — but hey, small steps.) 2. Write romantic comedies about the occasional decent human being. Sure, Scott’s Jason spends most of the movie as a Barney Stinson-like asshole, but the story ultimately hinges on his growing up. I wish Westfeldt had given her Julie a little more to do, but she’s at least a relatively sensible woman who, when rejected by the person she loves, moves away and tries to move on. Even the protagonists’ respective Ms. and Mr. Wrong, played by Fox and Edward Burns, are written with a bit of sympathy. Compare that to most of the romantic comedy heroes in recent memory — Natalie Portman’s poorly characterized commitment-phobe in No Strings Attached and the all-around loathsome denizens of Something Borrowed and How Do You Know come to mind, not to mention anyone played by Katherine Heigl – and it was a pleasant change to actually understand and sympathize with the characters of Friends with Kids. 3. Sex can be funnier off-screen. For a story that revolves around adults trying to procreate while maintaining their recreational sex lives, most of Friends with Kids ’ sex was more heard about than seen. Which was great. Sure, there are ways to make sex funny on-screen, and I laughed at the awkward bedroom machinations when Jason and Julie tried to conceive their child. But my apparently universal Adam Scott crush aside, I didn’t feel cheated by the lack of nudity. That scene and other references to sex in Friends with Kids were funnier, sharper and more adult than most of the shenanigans in last year’s dueling sex-friends rom-coms, No Strings Attached and Friends with Benefits . 4. All you need is a good dinner party or two. As you may have read , Friends with Kids is not the much-marketed Bridesmaids reunion, but the returning cast plays a great collective supporting role. The actors have good chemistry as a group of friends, with all the tensions and alliances therein, and some of the best parts of Friends with Kids depict their various gatherings, including a climactic, verbally-explosive dinner party during a group vacation. Westfeldt’s characters argue like real people, and the drama of those arguments powers her story – no need for rogue hot-air balloons , incompetent bounty hunters, or even spy partners fighting gun battles over Reese Witherspoon. Micaela Schaefer: Hottest Event Outfit Ever!

So I had this Micaela Schaefer chick on the site yesterday posing all provocatively in her sexy little outfit at what looked like a furniture store, which was awesome, but this time she’s outdone herself. Here she is at some event last night in what has to be the best event outfit ever. Look at this thing! It’s part bathing suit, part stripper outfit and part superhero costume… It’s amazing.

Olivia Wilde’s Breasts Are Hilarious

As I told you yesterday, Olivia Wilde is on the cover of British GQ for their comedy issue, she gave us a nice little boob jiggle to let us know. Now here she is hamming it up with an exploding cigar. I get it, comedy issue, but I’m more interested in those sweet breasts of hers. She can wear a clown nose, take a pie to the face or do whatever other lame comedy bit she wants, as long as she does it in a bra… I’m good.

Andy Samberg ‘Psyched’ To Be Adam Sandler’s Son

Trailer for ‘That’s My Boy,’ starring the ‘SNL’ duo, debuts Thursday on MTV.com. By Josh Wigler Andy Samberg and Adam Sandler in “That’s My Boy” Photo: Columbia Pictures Peanut butter and jelly, popcorn and movies, baseball and springtime — all winning combinations that never fail to put a smile on your face. On June 15, 2012, you’ll be able to add another prized combo to that list: Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg. The two “Saturday Night Live” legends are joining forces for a new Happy Madison comedy called “That’s My Boy,” hitting theaters this June. In the film, Sandler stars as a down-on-his luck man trying to reconnect with his estranged family on the week of his son’s (Samberg) wedding. It’s a bizarre setup — after all, Sandler is only 12 years older than Samberg in real life — but, as one would hope, the film offers a reliably ridiculous explanation for the small age gap. If the basic premise and the involvement of actors Sandler and Samberg don’t have you fired up for “That’s My Boy,” just wait: The first official trailer is set to drop on MTV.com on Thursday, and Samberg himself couldn’t be more excited for it. “I never thought I would actually get to be in a movie with Sandler, certainly not playing his son,” Samberg told MTV News ahead of the trailer’s release. “For me, I’ve been such a huge fan of his for so long; I used to listen to ‘Billy Madison’ on audio cassette in my Walkman. I’m a real-deal Sandler fan. I’d definitely put [this experience] up there with being cast on ‘SNL’ or any of the other things I’ve gotten to do — making [Lonely Island] records with my buddies — things I’ve always dreamed of happening but never thought they would. I’m pretty psyched.” As a self-declared “real-deal Sandler fan,” Samberg was far from disappointed when it came to watching the comedy legend do his thing on the “That’s My Boy” set. “Sandler is basically on fire in this movie,” he said. “In real life, he’s about the sweetest dad I’ve ever seen. But in the movie, he’s a bit of a train wreck. If we were making a documentary, it would be called ‘Sweet Loving Dad.’ But I think [‘That’s My Boy’] is going to be a little bit more entertaining and edgy than that.” Stay tuned to MTV News on Thursday for the “That’s My Boy” trailer premiere!
