Justin Bieber Says He ‘Could Date A Fan’ In ‘Diary’ Sneak Peek

Teen idol discusses his love life in ‘The Diary of Justin Bieber,’ airing Sunday at 7:30 p.m. on MTV. By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber Photo: Stephen Lovekin/ Getty Images Justin Bieber will be the star of his very own “Diary,” airing Sunday at 7:30 p.m. ET on MTV, and in it, he interacts a lot with his fans. The most important questions of all are raised in the special: Would Bieber ever date a fan? And does he have a girlfriend? Fans can get a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to be the teen idol as he travels the globe promoting his music during “The Diary of Justin Bieber.” MTV News has been giving you some hints as to what you can expect from the special, and here’s another: Bieber talks about his love life. “I’m single, and I’m just having fun,” he said. “I could date a fan. It just depends. It depends on the situation.” In case you ever wondered how you could end up in a music video, Bieber has your answer. “Well, basically, they’re chosen out of their agencies, like the modeling agency or whoever, and they send us pictures, and we go by the pictures,” he said, adding, “I don’t know where they would send it, but sure, [girls can send pictures].” In an earlier clip, Bieber talked about his previous relationship . “It’s weird when people say, ‘You’re only 15,’ because I know I am only 15, but at the same time, I think at any age you can experience love. Whether you’re 80 or 5, you’re always gonna … I don’t know. There’s a difference between love and being in love, because you can love someone but not necessarily be in love. So I think I’ve loved girls, but I don’t know — I haven’t been in love before.” Are you excited for Justin’s “Diary”? Let us know in the comments! Who Does Justin Bieber Retweet?

We take a look at the lucky fans whose messages get extra love on Bieber’s Twitter page. By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber Photo: Andrew H. Walker/ Getty Images Justin Bieber loves Twitter . His fans love his Twitter. And they love tweeting about Bieber. The 16-year old Bieber tends return the favor, retweeting his fans’ messages quite frequently. But who of his 1.5 million followers receives such an honor? MTV News decided to conduct a not-so-scientific study of his Twitter page to find out. Mostly, it seems that Bieber retweets fans who have been kind to him on their own Twitter pages. This week, he has been engaging his fans in nonstop retweet fests about his album. For instance, last night, he retweeted a comment made by MissTouchstone1 , “@justinbieber: MY WORLD 2.0 is HOT! im LOVING the sound on this album!” According to her page, MissTouchstone1 is a 21-year-old from Jackson, Mississippi. “I love my family!” she says in her bio. “I try to be POSiTiVE because it makes a bigger impact than being Negative all the time!” Bieber also retweeted BieberDivaz , who wrote on her page, “If all of @justinbieber’s followers each bought a copy of My World 2.0 it wud go platinum tomorrow!!! do it for justin buy one now!! ” Her twitter profiles even notes the times that Bieber has retweeted her: “JJ followed on 3.08.10 🙂 Justin bieber retweeted me twice on 3.23.10 at 7pm ET great day!” And he followed this pattern with ashleybans123 — “@justinbieber ur new CD rocks!” — and marghilovesjbs1 , who wrote “@justinbieber The CD is just absolutely AMAZING! go buy it, and get the golden ticket!!” But some of his Twitter fans want to take their relationship beyond the Internet and meet the pop star in person. Hope Downs (a.k.a. ladyyrauhl ), whose message about buying My World 2.0 twice was retweeted by Bieber this week, said her dream was fulfilled last year. “Justin Bieber has changed my life,” her bio reads. “He is breathtaking. my dream was to meet him, it became a reality on 8/11/09. he followed on 1/20/10 & RTed me on 3/23/10.” Downs has even bigger ambitions. She’s also posted an online petition to get herself onstage at one of Bieber’s shows. “My current dream is nothing out of the ordinary. Just like many other girls, my dream is to be Justin Bieber’s ‘one less lonely girl’ on stage on August 4th, 2010 in Orlando, FL on his ‘MY WORLD’ Tour.” So far her petition has 315 signatures. Will Bieber listen? Has Justin Bieber retweeted you? What would you do if he did? Share your thoughts below. We Take You Inside The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter

‘Time stands still when you’re in there,’ creative director Thierry Coup says of the attraction. By Terri Schwartz The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Photo: 2010 Universal Orlando Resort The attraction at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter that Universal Orlando is most excited about is Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, a ride they revealed to press and “Harry Potter” fan site webmasters on Wednesday. MTV got a chance to be one of the first inside Hogwarts castle, which is much more than just a pretty and accurate exterior. Wizarding World creative director Thierry Coup said that just waiting in line for the ride portion of Forbidden Journey was worth the time, and Wednesday’s visit explained why. Many of the iconic rooms and areas of Hogwarts castle that have been described in the “Harry Potter” books and seen in the movies have been re-created inside Universal’s version of Hogwarts castle. Wizarding World Of Harry Potter Theme Park “It’s the most immersive queue ever created,” said Alan Gilmore, production consultant for the park and art director for some of the films. “Every moment here is a wonderful moment, really. You just take it all in.” The experience starts at the entrance to Hogwarts, where statues of winged boars like the ones from the film version of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” can be seen. A sign below says, “Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry,” but Gilmore revealed that when the park is opened on June 18, there will be a “magical” effect that will make it seem as though the words “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey” will appear etched by wand over the sign. Guests will enter through the dungeon level of the park, where they will walk through in either the express, singles or regular line. The express line will miss out on the majority of the tour of Hogwarts. The dungeon area is designed with no “walls,” to look as though it has been carved out of the mountain. Attendees will walk by the One-Eyed Witch statue and the Mirror of Erised, which Harry Potter sees in “The Sorcerer’s Stone.” After passing through the dungeon area, visitors will go outside to the Hogwarts greenhouse, where Professor Sprout’s class studies Herbology. Coup and Gilmore said there is still horticulture to be planted before the park opens — but there were “sleeping” mandrake roots in a cage near the entrance back into the castle and there will be a giant vine, like in the films, creeping around the greenhouse. The entrance back into the castle is what Coup called the “Oxford Corridor,” and was basically a re-creation of the many corridors Harry and his friends walk through in the films. There is a statue of the architect of Hogwarts, who is standing with a lion, badger, snake and eagle to represent the four houses. At the end of the corridor is the griffin statue which, in the books and film, provides a magical staircase to Dumbledore’s office. Past the statue are moving paintings, which Universal used special technology to re-create. The first is of Professor Swoopstikes, who is talking about insects to the guests. The next one is of people watching Quidditch, and if visitors watch long enough, Swoopstikes will enter the Quidditch painting. The next room is the portrait room with about 100 paintings, both moving and not, of the founders and major people involved in Hogwarts. The paintings talk to themselves and to the guests, mostly questioning why Muggles are in Hogwarts, with a script designed to avoid repetition. Finally guests will arrive in Dumbledore’s Office, which is their intended destination in the castle according to Forbidden Journey’s story line. Express guests will have skipped all the previous rooms and end up in the office after walking from the dungeons through a different portrait gallery. Gilmore said this room was a more faithful reproduction of the office than in the films — it was something he and the films’ production designer, Stuart Craig, always wanted to do. It looks identical to the room in the films, with all the same paraphernalia and knickknacks lying around. A 3-D projection of Michael Gambon as Albus Dumbledore greets the guests for their planned lecture from the ghost Professor Bins on the history of Hogwarts — after all, “today” (or every day in the Wizarding World) is the “first” day Muggles are being allowed to tour Hogwarts. Guests then walk into the Defense Against Dark Arts classroom, with a skeleton of a dragon hanging from the ceiling while a chalkboard with a Dementors and “Expecto Patronum” lesson sits at the front of the room. Harry, Ron and Hermione appear in the back of the classroom from under an invisibility cloak and convince visitors to skip the lecture and go see a Quidditch tournament instead. Visitors are supposed to meet Hermione in the Room of Requirement, but have to walk past the animated portrait of the Fat Lady and through Gryffindor common room in order to do so. There are three moving paintings in this room: one of a Quidditch player, one of an etiquette teacher and one of a professor who explains in magical terms how the ride portion of Forbidden Journey will work. Here guests who don’t wish to ride the attraction but wanted to see the castle can leave if they wish. The tour ends in the Gryffindor common room, though the Sorting Hat and Room of Requirement are still ahead. It is in the Room of Requirement that guests can get on the ride, described as a “magically enchanted bench,” and see various beloved scenes from the series. Universal would not share the details of how this portion would work, instead saying they would prefer to maintain a “magical” element to the ride. The entire experience of the queue and ride are expected to be around an hour, Coup said, though to him “time stands still when you’re in there.” He said he always loved the stories and would read the books and show the movies to his son when he was growing up. “Watching his face when he was watching the movie and realizing we were going to be able to bring this to life … for me, it was the experience of a lifetime.” Are you excited for the Wizarding World to open? Justin Bieber Rocks ‘Baby,’ Bonds With Ben Stiller On ‘Letterman’

‘Things got a little crazy with Ben Stiller,’ 16-year-old tweets after the show. By Eric Ditzian Justin Bieber performs “Baby” on “Late Night With David Letterman” Photo: MTV News Hours before Justin Bieber arrived at New York’s Lucky Strike Lanes for his bowling-themed My World 2.0 release party, the 16-year-old pop star stopped by “The Late Show With David Letterman” to bust out the album’s first single, “Baby.” After guest appearances by Ben Stiller and celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, Bieber came out dressed in a black leather motorcycle jacket and black jeans. Flanked by four backup dancers, Bieber shimmied across the stage as he sang. “It was very exciting to be here with Bieber,” Stiller told Letterman earlier in the show. “I’m not being facetious. People [outside] are screaming constantly. I felt great when I got out of my car, because I didn’t know Justin was on the show.” The 44-year-old actor and comedian eventually got the chance to say hello to the teen star. “Met Justin Bieber tonight on Letterman,” Stiller wrote on his Twitter account . “Told him to hang in there, things will happen for him eventually.” Bieber gave Stiller a shout-out on his own Twitter feed, writing, “I’m on LETTERMAN 2nite… Things got a little crazy with Ben Stiller. We took the bulls by the horns.” After the performance, Letterman said to Bieber, “Hey, how ya doing, buddy? Come on up here. Nice job!” Then, it was on to the bowling party, where fans had been lined up for hours to catch a glimpse of the singer. Going up against Nick Cannon in a head-to-head bowl-off , Bieber ended up coming away the champion. But there wasn’t much time to celebrate. Just hours later, the teen was up and ready to hit the next leg of his promotional tour. “Wow. It’s early … headed to the airport,” he tweeted Wednesday morning (March 24). “Chicago bound.” Related Videos Sneak Peek: ‘The Diary Of Justin Bieber’ Related Photos Justin Bieber Takes Over The Bodies Of Other Teen Idols Behind-The-Scenes Of ‘Diary Of Justin Bieber’: Paris Justin Bieber Live On MTV.com | Photos Related Artists Justin Bieber
