Eclipse Cast Sounds Off on Miley Cyrus

For the record, Miley Cyrus hates pop music , Glee and, of course, pants . Now, the singer has added something else to her list of disdain. In an interview with E! News last week, the singer said: “I hate vampires.” Naturally, this led the network to speak to members of the Eclipse cast about Miley’s comments and they replied as follows: Taylor Lautner : “She doesn’t need to like vampires. As long as she likes werewolves, we’re cool.” Peter Facinelli : “I’m not necessarily a huge vampire fan, but I do love the books that Stephenie Meyer created. I love that you don’t see fangs. It’s not a horror movie by any means.” Elizabeth Reaser : “I’ve always been a fan of vampires since I was a little girl. I loved all the Anne Rice books. Maybe Miley’s resisting. Maybe they’re so popular now that it’s annoying or she’s sick of seeing us.” Kellan Lutz : “She hasn’t met me then. I would change her opinion on that, I’m sure. I have my ways.” Ashley Greene : “That’s so unfortunate because I love her new songs… I’m going to sit Miley down and force her to watch Twilight .”

Big Lunar Eclipse – 3:17 am PDT

PhysOrg.com) — This Saturday morning, June 26th, there's going to be a lunar eclipse—and for many residents of the USA, it's going to be a big one. The eclipse begins at 3:17 am PDT (10:17 UT) when the Moon enters the sunset-colored shadow of Earth. By 4:38 am PDT (11:38 UT), the moment of greatest eclipse, 54% of the Moon's diameter will be covered. From beginning to end, the event lasts almost three hours. Although the eclipse is only partial, it will be magnified in size and charm by the “Moon Illusion”–a result of the eclipse occurring close to the horizon from viewing sites in the USA. For reasons not fully understood by astronomers or psychologists, low-hanging Moons look unnaturally large when they beam through trees, buildings and other foreground objects. In fact, a low Moon is no wider than any other Moon—cameras prove it—but the human brain insists otherwise. Who are we to argue? The effect will be particularly strong in western and central parts of the USA and Canada where the Moon will be setting as the eclipse reaches maximum. (Observing tip: Look low and to the west just before dawn.) The fact that the extra size is just an illusion in no way detracts from the beauty. People in New England and northeastern Canada will justmiss it. The Moon sets shortly before the eclipse begins. http://www.physorg.com/news196698260.html added by: Stoneyroad

It May Be Time For Kevin Smith’s Jorts Intervention

Kevin Smith attended the premiere of Eclipse last night with his daughter, dressed like he usually is, but even more so. While we’re not style critics here at Movieline, and we just shrugged at Smith’s shirt (which was potentially stolen from a college freshman who is so psyched that he can now wear clothes with cuss words on them), we feel it is necessary to address the jorts, once and for all.

Eclipse Cast Talks Werewolf Genitalia, Looks Attractive, Premieres Clip on Jimmy Kimmel Special

Jimmy Kimmel hosted an ABC special titled “Total Eclipse of the Heart” last night. The program featured all members of the Twilight Saga cast, as Robert Pattinson took a break from filming Water for Elephants and reunited with Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and other co-stars who have been circling the globe promoting the film. Among the topics touched on during the one-hour special: Pattinson teasing Lautner over the lack of werewolf penises, saying: “If you look carefully, it’s a little easter egg in the film, the censors wouldn’t let the wolves have genitalia.” Xavier Samuel telling a story about how a raccoon bit him during shooting in Vancouver. Kimmel refusing to take sides, joking: “My heart says Team Edward, but my head says Team Jacob – and then my stomach says Hot Pocket.” Lautner admitting that a Great White Shark would kill a werewolf in battle. Lautner and Stewart talking about swimming with sharks and doing karaoke with Miley Cyrus while on their international press tour. Cast members from Jersey Shore also re-enacted scenes from the Twilight Saga, as they previewed a parody titled “Friggin Twilight.” Funny, funny stuff. Kristen Stewart Likes Changing Directors For Each ‘Twilight’ Film

‘It’s comforting to know that things are being shot well,’ she says of ‘Eclipse’ director David Slade. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Kristen Stewart Photo: MTV News When “30 Days of Night” director David Slade was chosen to helm “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” it was clear that the third film would get a darker, more violent tone. But star Kristen Stewart got something more: a sense of relief that the story would be done right. “If you have to say, ‘Yo, this story’s not being told,’ it’s really scary,” she explained to MTV News. “Then you’re not focusing on [what you need to focus on]. You should be able to look on your own thing, [so] we can rely on him on that level. He knows the story. He also gave us room to do our thing, because he realizes there’s a pretty established dynamic and you can’t go changing it.” Stewart said Slade concentrated a lot on the look of the film. “Yeah, I mean, David, he’s really interesting to watch, technically, because he’s obsessed with his camera,” she said. “He loves it. It’s comforting to know that things are being shot well.” Next up, Stewart will work with “Dreamgirls” director Bill Condon on the last two “Twilight” installments , “Breaking Dawn,” and she’s looking forward to getting yet another new perspective on the series. “Also it’s cool to introduce your character to a new director, because it provides a [chance to do a] lot of reconsideration,” she added. “It’s like, ‘No, think about it again, because I’ve got some new ideas about it.’ ” We’ll be
