Inception Oscar Nominee Hans Zimmer ‘Quite Shocked’ That Christopher Nolan Was Snubbed

Hans Zimmer has been here before. His nomination today for Inception marked Zimmer’s ninth in the Best Original Score category, an award he’s won once before, for The Lion King . But on a day most people are celebrating, Zimmer is lamenting the fact that his director, Christopher Nolan (who Zimmer also worked with on the Batman films and The Prestige ), was denied a Best Director nomination once again.

I don’t know if this is a real show, or just some viral video clip making fun of intervention doing the rounds…but I do know this has got to be one of the better addictions I’ve heard of…it’s weird as fuck but not quite the weirdest out there…I know people with all kind of compulsive issues… I’m just wondering where she goes when she finishes eating a cushion, what happens if she hits hard times and can’t afford to buy a new couch, does so go thrift store couch shopping, eating the absorbed ass sweat of many people before her, you know not knowing whether a motherfucker died on the shit or not… I also wonder if this is gonna kill the bitch…what does this kind of thing do to someone’s insides? It’s pretty fucked…and yet entirely hysterical…enjoy…

That’s the task Jay Chou faced when he took over as the ever-present sidekick Kato to Seth Rogen’s titular superhero in Michel Gondry’s The Green Hornet . Well, that and the fact that Chou — already an internationally famous recording artist in eastern Asia — is making his American debut in a role that also introduced the States to Bruce Lee.
