Jesse James Thinks Sandra Bullock Will Take Him Back

Jesse James believes Sandra Bullock will return to him … his ex-wife says. Janine Lindemulder watched Jesse’s tearful Nightline interview but didn’t buy what he was selling the national TV audience, a source close to the situation said. James broke down in tears during the interview while saying he wanted to get caught and saying his father’s abuse of him as a child led to his cheating ways. Lindemulder’s not buying it, though, believing it was all a PR stunt. “As far as Janine is concerned Jesse is just a master con artist,” a close close to Janine, who is currently battling James for custody of daughter Sunny, said. Michelle McGee expressed similar views of his ” generic interview .” Jesse James’ ex- and soon-to-be-ex-wives are not fans of his. Jesse’s ex-wife does not think the abuse he claimed he suffered at the hands of his father was anywhere near as bad as he claims – or caused any cheating. Instead, “Janine feels Jesse was scarred towards women after his own mom abandoned him when he was only 7. Jesse is a control freak who reacts badly when he cannot get his way. His father stood up to him at times and he resented that.” “He believes that Sandra will take him back in time and that they just have to stay apart for a while for the sake of her public image. His ego is so big that he cannot really accept that he brought about his own downfall and nobody else.” Janine Lindemulder , a former porn star, will be released from a federal half-way house in Oregon today and is planning to move closer to Sunny in California.

Girl Power

I am incredibly inspired by my dad’s selection of Governor Palin as the first woman Vice Presidential candidate of the Republican Party. This is a great moment for young women everywhere who can look to her as a role model. As I was standing on stage, I found myself getting emotional about today’s historic event and the evolution in the role of women as leaders in politics. I couldn’t be more proud of my father! I will have more to say tomorrow but wanted to give everyone a quick update.

Jay Leno and Carson Daly

The final two stops on my book publicity tour were at the “Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “Last Call with Carson Daly”. It is an honor to be asked to go on those shows and amazing to be there as a guest. I have been to the “Tonight Show” a number of times over the years when my dad has been a guest, so it was a bit of an out of body experience to actually be there for an interview on my own. I have to say that going on Carson Daly’s show might have been the most fun because I have had a secret crush on him since I was a teenager. I also enjoyed meeting his musical guest, Anthony Green, while backstage, and recommend that everyone check out his CD on iTunes! Nashville Debate Part 1

Due to the large number of debate photographs from Nashville, we’ve split them into two posts – before and after the debate. These pictures really speak for themselves and are the essence of why I created this blog in the first place, to show everyone what happens behind the scenes. These pictures feature my father prepping before the debate and entering the stage at Belmont University. Hope you enjoy! Song of the Day: “Bittersweet Symphony” by The Verve

America is Worth Fighting For

“America is worth fighting for” is my favorite line of my father’s speech. I think it is so poignant, and essentially, it captures the reason why I have always loved, supported and believed in my father. It is why I believe he would be the best President for our country now, at a point where we face many challenges abroad and also at home, where so many of our fellow Americans are going through difficult times. The fact that our country is and always will be worth for fighting for is the essence of why I have been so inspired to participate in this campaign, and throughout this process I have been even more inspired by the people and the places I have encountered along the way, around our great country. We are truly the luckiest people in the world, and I have been very fortunate to be a part of this experience on the campaign, and to be able to share it with so many of you. The next three days will fly by and no doubt be pretty crazy, so let me just say thanks right now for getting involved too. This is what was at the heart of what I hoped to achieve with my blog, and it has gone beyond my expectations. Stay tuned for more from the trail tomorrow! An ending… and beginning.

This was the most beautiful experience of my life and I have absolutely no regrets. Tuesday night was enormously emotional for us all and I could not be more proud of my father.  The person you saw on that stage was the gracious, honest and tender human being whom I have had the privilege to call “dad” for 24 years. My girls, Shannon and Heather, were there filming and taking photographs; however, this is the first time in the history of the Blogette that I have decided to keep the documentation for myself and my family and not publish it on the site. I hope everyone understands that I don’t feel as open to sharing such an emotional night as I once did.  It is not that I don’t believe our readers would be sensitive to the material, it is that I don’t believe that some in the media would. I want to thank all of you who have been with us on this ride.  We’ve received thousands of emails in the last few days and your words of encouragement and thanks have meant the world to Shannon, Heather, my family, and me.  I am always thrilled when we get frequent email from voters, both young and old, who have felt more connected to this moment in history and to my Dad as a result of this site. Thank you all for your support, prayers and encouragement. I hope that by showing you the perspective of a presidential campaign through the eyes of the candidate’s daughter, it has made the process more accessible to readers of all ages.  Hopefully, in the future, another crazy, independent child of a politician will also draw back the curtain on a journey that so few people get the chance to see up close, and not adhere to an image that is long overdue for change. This has truly been the most liberating experience of my life and I am grateful for every moment. Nothing like this happens without the support of some amazing people.  Frank, Melissa, Claire, Diane, Rob, Nancy and Josh have always been working behind the scenes and on the road to make this a success. I know it hasn’t always been easy, but I thank them so much for their perseverance and patience. They have meant so much to me through this experience and I truly could not have done it without them. Which brings me to Shannon and Heather. Quite simply, I would not have survived without you. You have been my friends through some of the highest, and lowest, points of my life. Through the good times and bad, you were always there for me and this would not have been possible without you. You are my best friends in the entire world and I will always love you both.  You are two of the most incredible people I have ever known and have the honor of calling my best friends. Finally, I want to thank the two people who made this all possible, my mom and dad. Not the business owner and the candidate, but the mother and father whose strength, generosity and selflessness have been such a source of inspiration to me and who are the core of who I am today.  I am so incredibly thankful for their love and support.  I am very much my father’s daughter and share many personality traits with him, but it is my mother who has always taught me to retain grace and class and to maintain a sense of humor during turbulent times.  She has showcased those traits to me more than ever in the past year and a half. To everyone else, you know who you are. And now this experience ends. So, where do I go from here? I ask my readers for time while I figure that out. Stay tuned and don’t get rid of this bookmark just yet! In the meantime, I am decompressing in Sedona, eating my Dad’s grilled ribs with my brothers, and playing “Rock Band” with Bridget. With much love and gratitude to all our badass readers!!! xoxoxo, Meghan Final Campaign Song of the Day: “Snow (Hey Oh)” by Vitamin String Quartet (This is what the end of the campaign feels like…)

AZ Gov Brewer: "my father died fighting Nazis in Germany" Liar Liar pants on fire

This is starting to look like a pattern. First Mark Kirk, now Jan Brewer. Governor Brewer's effort to stir sympathy for her cause seems to have backfired on her. Gov. Jan Brewer said in a recent interview that her father died fighting Nazis in Germany. In fact, the death of Wilford Drinkwine came 10 years after World War II had ended. During the war, Drinkwine worked as a civilian supervisor for a naval munitions depot in Hawthorne, Nev. He died of lung disease in 1955 in California. Brewer made the comment to The Arizona Republic while talking about the criticism she has taken since signing SB 1070, the new immigration law that makes it a state crime to be in the country illegally. “Knowing that my father died fighting the Nazi regime in Germany, that I lost him when I was 11 because of that… and then to have them call me Hitler's daughter. It hurts. It's ugliness beyond anything I've ever experienced,” Brewer said in the story, published Tuesday. How exactly does one stretch work for a munitions depot stateside into “fighting the Nazis”? Evidently by making the claim that the lung disease that killed her father was caused by toxic fumes at the munitions factory. Her claim that she didn't mean to embellish the story rings hollow to me. The phrase “my father died fighting the Nazi regime in Germany…” clearly intends to convey the impression that he fell in combat in Germany fighting Nazis. If she had intended to convey otherwise, she would have framed it as the result of the country's war with Nazi Germany. She did not. Of course, she is now trying to spin as a simple misinterpretation on the part of the reader, which points directly to my overall problem with the faux patriotism candidates put on under the guise of military service. We live in a country where service is voluntary (despite our unenforced draft laws). Serving or not serving is not a benchmark measure of anyone's patriotism. As far as I'm concerned, military service should not be a marker of a candidate's qualification to run for or hold office. When it starts being pimped as some kind of extra qualifier, or when candidates use their family's service as a qualifier (as Brewer did), it's an insult to every member who is or has served in the military today. Brewer just keeps proving her ambition and lack of qualification for office. Arizona, you can do better than this. http://crooksandliars.com/karoli/az-gov-jan-brewer-stretches-truth-political added by: Stoneyroad
