Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale doesn’t come out until March 29, but we’ve heard a pair of singles already in ” Till The World Ends ” and the #1 hit ” Hold It Against Me .” Today, we’ve got two more for you: “I Wanna Go” and Inside Out.” The former, which was produced by her Baby One More Time collaborator Max Martin and Shellback, who worked on “If U Seek Amy,” can be heard right here: Britney Spears – I Wanna Go What do you think of Britney’s new stuff? Some are calling it her best in years, while others think it’s generic pop drivel only getting airplay based on her name. After hearing these two tracks, we’re somewhere in between. Follow the jump to listen to “Inside Out,” which has somewhat of a different sound to it, courtesy of Dr. Luke, Martin and Billboard. See what you think: Britney Spears – Inside Out
‘When it’s time to pull and tuck, I’m sure I will consider it,’ the almost-30-year-old singer says. By Jocelyn Vena Britney Spears Photo: Jive Britney Spears is fine with the numerous comparisons that have been made between her and Madonna over the course of her career. After all, she tried to mold herself after the star. When asked who she tried to emulate when she first started out, Spears answered, “Madonna. No question. She is an amazing entertainer. Besides Madonna, I also admire Sarah Jessica Parker’s career and her shoe collection,” the singer told Out magazine. ( Madonna is also set to have her own Out cover this month when both covers drop on March 29.) She had equally kind words for her pop contemporaries. What does she think of Lady Gaga? “Unique.” What about former pop rival Christina Aguilera? “Truly talented.” Over the course of her career, Spears has recorded a number of songs ranging from the awesome (“Toxic,” “Slave 4 U”) to the more forgettable (“Email My Heart”), but she has no regrets. “All of my songs are f—ing amazing,” she told the magazine. Spears displayed that same swagger when talking about her latest release. “I think Femme Fatale is my most upbeat and mature album yet. I collaborated with will.i.am. I am a huge fan of Black Eyed Peas, and I have always wanted to work with him. I also worked with a new up-and-coming artist from the L.A. area named Sabi. She raps on a song I love called ‘(Drop Dead) Beautiful.’ ” While she loves all her own tracks, there’s one recent radio smash that Spears wishes she had jumped on. Spears said that she would have loved to record Eminem and Rihanna’s “Love the Way You Lie.” The magazine also delved a bit further into the singer’s personal life. When asked how she would feel if one of her sons turned out to be gay, she replied, “I love my boys no matter what.” And when asked if the singer ever crushed on a female celebrity, she responded, “I only have eyes for men.” Spears noted that everyone should have the right to marry, including gay people. “I think everyone should be treated equally.” Femme Fatale ‘s release is one of Britney’s major milestones for 2011. Another is the singer’s 30th birthday, which she doesn’t seem very worried about. “I’m excited to be out of my 20s,” she said, before sharing that she’s not against plastic surgery. “When it’s time to pull and tuck, I’m sure I will consider it.” Related Videos MTV First: Britney Spears’ ‘Hold It Against Me’ Premiere Related Artists Britney Spears
Spears wants one more tryst with her ex on the Femme Fatale song. By Jocelyn Vena Britney Spears Photo: Ethan Miller/Getty Images Last month, Britney Spears teased a snippet of her Femme Fatale track “Inside Out.” Now, a bit more of the sexy track, including some of the song’s reported lyrics, has hit the Net. In the new 30-second teaser for the song, posted on MuuMuse.com , fans are given a taste of not only part of the chorus, but also part of one of the song’s bridges, which features a booming mid-tempo beat. Spears, in her signature style, sings, “You touch me and it’s breaking me down/ and me down, and me down, and me down/ I’m telling you, let’s just give it up and get down/ and get down, and get down …” On the breakup track’s chorus, she sings, “So come on/ Won’t you give me something to remember?/ Baby shut your mouth and turn me inside out/ Even though we couldn’t last forever, baby.” Other lyrics seem like a switched-up version of those previously released. Neither set of lyrics has been confirmed as the album version. “Said you’re gonna be here in a minute/ Sitting in the mirror getting pretty/ Gotta look my best if we’re gonna break up/ Gotta look my best if we’re gonna break up,” the reported lyrics read. The lyrics go on, “I can hear you knocking at the front door/ And I know exactly what you came for/ Try to say goodbye but it’s hot and heavy.” The previously reported lyrics were: “Said you’re gonna be here in two minutes/ Sitting in the mirror getting ready/ Gotta look my best if I wanna break up/ Gotta look my best if I wanna break up/ I can hear you knocking at the back door/ And I know exactly what you’re here for/ Trying to say goodbye but I’m not that ready.” Related Videos MTV First: Britney Spears’ ‘Hold It Against Me’ Premiere Related Photos Britney Spears’ ‘Hold It Against Me’ Pop-Culture References Related Artists Britney Spears

Her 2009 album release and Circus tour themselves followed a dark period for Spears, following the demise of her marriage and sanity in 2006. It’s all good nowadays, though. Femme Fatale ‘s second single was penned by Ke$ha. By Jocelyn Vena Photo: Jive Britney Spears’ new single, “Till the World Ends,” sounds poised to be a club smash. The Ke$ha-written , Dr. Luke/Max Martin-produced track was posted by Perez Hilton on Thursday afternoon (March 3), after speculation earlier in the day that the song would hit radio next week. “Till the World Ends” is a swirling, “beat the beat” track, ready for late nights spent “dancing till the world ends” as she sings on the fast-paced party jam. “This kitten got your tongue tied in knots I see/ Spit it out ’cause I’m dying for company,” a confident Spears purrs. As the song slows for a moment — during a break before she moves her way to the chorus — she sings, “I can’t take it take it take no more/ Never felt like felt like this before/ Come on get me get me on the floor/ DJ, what you what you waiting for?” she teases. The beat chugs in the background as synths play with Spears’ sex-kitten delivery of lines like “Watch me move/ When I lose, when I lose it hard/ Get you off with a touch/ Dancing in the dark. “See the sunlight/ We ain’t stopping/ Keep on dancing till the world ends/ If you feel it/ Let it happen/ Keep on dancing till the world ends,” she sings as the song breaks down, fading out for a brief moment (revealing her signature breathiness), and then coming back in as she repeats those final lines again to close the song. Ke$ha recently dished about the track to Spin.com , noting that it is about the power of an artist performing a great gig. “That song is me imagining her and any female musician touring the world,” she said. “You know, when you go out, and you’re having an amazing, magical night and you don’t want to go to sleep and you want it to last until the world ends.” “Till the World Ends” is the second single from Femme Fatale , set to drop March 29. Its lead single, “Hold It Against Me,” was an equally club-friendly jam by Luke and Martin, who are overseeing production on the album. ‘She had a lot of ideas for me,’ producer says of pop star’s new album. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Kara Warner Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale Photo: Jive Britney Spears is a month away from the release of Femme Fatale, and nearly every day, she’s teasing fans with samples of some of the songs on the album, including the latest, her song with will.i.am, “The Big Fat Bass.” Now, longtime collaborator Rodney Jerkins is opening up about hitting the studio with Spears. “Britney’s always great to work with. I’ve worked with Britney for 12, 13 years now,” he told MTV News. “It’s always great to work with someone when you work with someone time and time again; it’s always great, and it always gets better. And just to see her evolve as an artist, it’s an amazing, amazing thing.” Jerkins worked with Spears in the past on “Overprotected (Darkchild Remix)” and “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll” in the early 2000s, as well as her leaked version of Lady Gaga’s “Telephone,” when she was recording Circus. This time around, he said Spears knows exactly what she wants musically on the album. “She was very hands-on. She had a lot of ideas for me,” he said. “She’s great. She gets it. She is a top-notch veteran pro at this now.” She might be getting some help from Jerkins, but Dr. Luke and Max Martin are executive-producing the album, and Jerkins had nothing but the best to say about the production team. “I never spoke to them, [but] those guys are just great, and the stuff that they’ve been doing is just really, really great stuff,” he said. “I’m sure with their hands on it, it’s great.” Spears herself has described the album as “moody, edgy pop with A LOT of energy,” hinting that many of the songs will be uptempo, and Jerkins noted that the songs he’s been writing for her have certainly fit that label. “I know the songs that I do are uptempo,” he said. “The stuff I’ve done, I think, will kind of shock people. I got a chance to go out my box a little bit too. She’s great. Britney’s just awesome.” What are you expecting from Britney’s new music? Let us know in the comments! By Jocelyn Vena Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale Photo: Jive Judging by the snippets we’ve heard from Femme Fatale, Britney Spears is ready to dance. Late Wednesday night, Spears’ producer Dr. Luke tweeted out another tease for the track “How I Roll.” “I just might be feeling like giving u another snippet ….. maybe,” Luke wrote. “Should it be a [producers] bloodshy and avant song??? something like that,” he added before sending a link to the song. The teaser opens with Britney cooing “ooh ahh” as beats and synths kick in. Those are jumbled with handclaps before Spears begins singing lines like, “Show your knee socks/ With tequila on the rocks/ Till you make your body pop/ To the speakers.” “In my opinion, this is her strongest album ever. It’s somewhat of a departure from what she’s done. It’s more mature,” manager Larry Rudolph told MTV News about Femme Fatale, which he even likened to a Madonna classic. “It’s more of a dance record. … This really is Britney’s Ray of Light album.” Spears herself has hinted that the album will have fans dancing. “I would describe it as moody, edgy pop with A LOT of energy.
