Here is a new, hate-filled way to get fired from a fast food chain… Charleigh Matice of Morehead City, North Carolina tells WCTI that she recently found a Swastika made of butter cooked into the bun of her chicken sandwich. “Is this a joke? Does somebody really think this is funny?” she asked Matice. “Many people died because of that symbol and it’s not something that should be taken lightly.” She makes an inarguable point. In April, Starbucks apologized for a Satanic symbol appearing – via caramel syrup – in the foam of a patron’s order. And now McDonald’s has done the same, telling Matice that the Jew-hating employee has been fired and issuing the following statement in response to the incident: “We are very sorry for the service that our customers received, and to be clear we have terminated the employee who was involved. We do not tolerate that kind of behavior at McDonald’s, and it’s not what we stand for personally as owners. “It is about providing the best level of service and care to our customers, and anything less than that is unacceptable to us.” It could be worse, of course.
