Chester Bennington’s Widow Releases Statement: My Life Is a Tragedy

Last week, the music world was shocked by the news that beloved Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington had passed away  at the age of 41. Shortly thereafter, investigators confirmed Bennington’s cause of death . Perhaps mimicking the recent suicide of his friend Chris Cornell , Bennington had hung himself in his Los Angeles home, where his body was discovered by a housekeeper. He died on what would have been Cornell’s 53rd birthday. Hundreds of thousands have paid tribute to Bennington online, including many of the famous friends he made over the course of his 17-year music career.  Today, the singer’s grief-stricken widow made her first public statement since Bennington’s passing. Her words reflect not only her own heartbreak, but also the grief endured by those who knew Bennington best, including his six children. “One week ago, I lost my soulmate and my children lost their hero – their Daddy,” Talinda Bennington wrote. “We had a fairytale life and now it has turned into some sick Shakespearean tragedy.” Talinda went on to say that she hopes her love for her children will sustain her through this incredibly difficult time. She also reminded fans that their words of support are deeply appreciated. “How do I move on? How do I pick up my shattered soul? The only answer I know is to raise our babies with every ounce of love I have left,” Talinda stated. “I want to let my community and the fans worldwide know that we feel your love. We feel your loss as well. My babies are so young to have lost their daddy. And I know that all of you will help keep his memory alive.” She concluded with a tribute to her departed husband that’s sure to leave many fans in tears. “He was a bright, loving soul with an angel’s voice,” Talida wrote. “And now he is pain-free singing his songs in all of our hearts. May God bless us all and help us turn to one another when we are in pain. Chester would’ve wanted us to do so. Rest In Peace, my love.” Bennington’s family members have stated that while they appreciate the well-wishes from fans, they plan to lay the singer to rest in a private ceremony. Adam Lind Ditches Aubree’s Father-Daughter Dance AGAIN!

Look, we all know Adam Lind is a garbage person. Not a person whose job it is to collect trash — no, those people are fine citizens who perform an important service for society. Adam Lind is a garbage person in the way that he may literally be made of garbage . He’s that awful. We don’t have time to recount all the many, many ways in which he is the worst — no one has that kind of time. But just to do a quick recap, he’s failed a drug test earlier this year when he was found to have meth in his system , and people in his life claim that he also does steroids. The mother of his second child has also claimed that he’s killed her puppies , and that he’s been abusive towards her in the past. On top of all that, he’s one of the worst parents in Teen Mom history. And right now, we’re going to focus on that last bit. Though we’ve seen many, many examples of Adam being a bad father on Teen Mom 2, perhaps the most heartbreaking example was when he stood up his daughter, Aubree, for a dance . Last year, Aubree’s school had a special father-daughter dance, and she got permission from her school to bring both Adam and Chelsea Houska’s then-boyfriend, Cole DeBoer. (She wanted Cole to come along because while Adam is her father, Cole is her “other daddy,” as she explained at the time.) Ultimately Adam didn’t show up at all, and he didn’t call or text, either, so Cole took Aubree by himself. The next time the poor little girl was with her dad, she asked him why he didn’t show up for the dance, and he told her he was busy practicing for a weight-lifting competition. Pathetic, right? And now, thanks to a bittersweet Teen Mom 2 sneak peek, we know that Adam missed this year’s father-daughter dance , too. The clip starts with Aubree and Cole riding around in his truck, and he asks her “Are you ready to go dancin’?!” “I didn’t know it was tonight,” she tells him, and he confirms that the father-daughter dance is indeed that night. “Better bring your dancing shoes, ’cause it’s on,” he says. Did we mention that it’s physically painful how adorable Cole is ? Later that day, we see Aubree and home with Chelsea, and Cole brings in two bouquets of flowers for his stepdaughter. One of Chelsea’s nieces is there too, and it looks like her father, Randy, is accompanying her to the dance. Chelsea asks Aubree if she can see her dance moves, and she obliges, then Chelsea shows off her moves, and all the while little baby Watson is chilling in a baby swing. Randy even gets in on the dancing, too! Cutest Teen Mom 2 clip ever? It’s a solid possibility. It’s also pretty telling that this time around, there’s not even a mention of Adam. But on the other … man, how is Adam this big of a douchebag?

Danielle Mullins: Thanks for My New Career, Haters!

Just because Danielle Mullins and Mohamed Jbali are no longer married doesn’t mean that the 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? couple is done forever with reality television. In fact, it sounds like Danielle already has something lined up. The best 90 Day Fiance  couple would have to be Kirlyam and Alan Cox, right? In case you missed it,  Kirlyam Cox is pregnant and due in just two months! The worst couple on that series would easily be Anfisa Arkhipchenko and Jorge Nava and their toxic , sometimes violent relationship. Paola Mayfield and Russ are somewhere in the middle. Mohamed Jbali and Danielle Mullins may not be as bad as Anfisa and Jorge, but they’re still pretty close to the bottom. As a couple, they were so toxic together that they’re now divorced. In the end, while Mohamed came across as selfish and sleazy and probably a cheater , Danielle herself didn’t seem like a great person. Which is a shame, because she could have tried to present herself as a sympathetic victim. People would have ignored Mohamed’s claims that she had a strange, foul body odor if she’d made herself likable, you know? Instead, she comes across as spiteful. It seems like she set out to ruin Mohamed Jbali’s life as punishment for not having sex with her except for that one time that they banged . Mohamed himself isn’t a great person, either. But after the way that Danielle treated him, people hardly blamed him for hiding from her. (Remember when Mohamed Jbali was missing ? He was okay, but that was weird ) In an interview, Danielle Mullins announces that she’s going to be on  more reality shows. (Probably starting with From Not To Hot , though that’s really a guess) Specifically, she’s signed on with GR Media, who’ve represented … um, such esteemed individuals as Mama June and Farrah Abraham. And Danielle is crediting her haters for her continuing career. “Well, I can say that because of their hate, I’m going to be starting a new journey.” Ah, yes. Because of their hate. For the record, we think that people were hateful because she and Mohamed had an aggressively toxic relationship. There’s a difference between a person on television whose storyline people enjoy and a person who will get people to follow them. We have yet to see whether Danielle can attract viewers out of the context of a dysfunctional engagement and a crumbling marriage. Danielle Mullins says that what makes her so appealing is her popularity, though, so maybe GR Media knows something that we don’t. “Because I’ve been so popular with the  90 Day  series, I’ve recently signed on with Gina Rodriguez [head of GR Media] to manage me. And she’s the manager of Mama June. So she has some big plans for me.” Again, these are also the people behind Farrah Abraham. So … if Danielle makes a transformation on From Not To Hot , is she also going to follow it up with a sex tape? If so, we’re guessing that Mohamed Jbali will take a hard pass. There’s too much bad blood between them, for sure. As for 90 Day Fiance , Danielle isn’t sure that she’s going to appear on the show again. “I don’t know if we’ll be back for another season because, like I said, I signed with Gina, and she has another show in mind for me.” We look forward to the announcement of what it will be. Ariel Winter: Y’all HAVE to See My Embarrassing Throwback Pic!

Ariel Winter posted a photo of herself — and she’s not wearing a bikini on a slice of pizza this time. No, this throwback photo is a little less surreal than that. And, believe it or not, it is the least sexy photo of Ariel Winter that we’ve seen in a long time. Now, in addition to being a talented actress and a genuinely good person, Ariel Winter is a beautiful young woman. She’s an adult and she can show as much or as little skin as she wants. Ariel tends to show a decent amount of skin, and even flaunted a butt tattoo very recently. That’s her right. It’s also, you know, awesome for people who enjoy looking at her. Because she’s gorgeous and usually sexy. What you’re about to see is Ariel Winter’s least sexy photo, ever. Not because she looks ugly in it. Not because she has braces. (Though it’s kind of tangentially related to that) But because, when this photo was taken, Ariel Winter was just a kid. That much is obvious. We don’t just mean the braces — my family’s dentist wore braces a few years back and he’s, you know, old enough to be a dentist. But this Ariel Winter at her most baby-faced. The glitter around her eyes clearly indicates that she’s at a school dance, because no one else outside of certain weird scifi movies wears eye makeup like that. Her hair’s in an updo that screams high school event. And, let’s be real — wearing braces usually happens some time during or just after middle school. She looks absolutely adorable. She captioned the photo: “#tbt to braces and this hair tho y’all” It’s great that she’s in a place in life where she has zero hesitation about sharing old and potentially embarassing photos of her. (Nor should she — she looked precious!) And while some celebrity kids bear little to no resemblance to their adult selves … (Looking at you, ever-bustier Kylie Jenner ) … You can really see that this is, for sure, Ariel Winter. She has the same cute apple cheeks, the same eyes, the same chin, the same smile. She even has the exact same cute little button nose. She’s just not today’s Ariel Winter who parades about in daisy dukes with her boyfriend’s family. We know that Ariel Winter didn’t have a good childhood . It sucked, actually, thanks to her awful, toxic mother . That’s why Ariel got emancipated when she was still a minor. Sometimes, people who had awful childhoods end up as adults who have trouble functioning. The habits and self-preservation instincts that help you manage through the nightmare that is your early life don’t work at all once you’re free. The trick is to then find new coping mechanisms so that you can actually enjoy your new life. We don’t know how Ariel managed to adjust so well, so quickly, but we’re really proud of her. She’s a success story, career-wise, but she’s also personally successful, with a loving boyfriend and a long and happy life in front of her. Chelsea Houska: See the Most ADORABLE Moment Between Aubree and Cole DeBoer!

If you watch Teen Mom, chances are you really, really love your trashy reality television — and hey, there's nothing wrong with that. Most people can't look away from a good train wreck , and, for the most part, that's what Teen Mom is. But in between all the relentless drama, between Jenelle Evans having meltdowns and Farrah Abraham yelling at literally every person she comes across, it's good to have a palate cleanser. You know, a cute moment, something to lighten the mood. And Chelsea Houska's life has become the sweetest palate cleanser there is . Sure, she's still got some Adam Lind drama, but we don't see as much of it as we used to on Teen Mom 2. These days, it's pretty much just baby stuff, sweet scenes with Aubree, and Chelsea and Cole being #relationshipgoals all day long. If you're not quite sure what we mean, just check out this new sneak peek for Monday's episode. In the clip, which is seriously so very, very precious, Aubree and Cole are hanging out while Chelsea tends to little baby Watson. They decide to make some ghost spray, or as Cole calls it, “Aubree's Powerful, Butt-Kickin' Ghost Spray.” He helps her make the label and mix the formula — it looks like the ghost spray consists of mostly glitter — and then instructs her to spray him once “so I can have protection.” Yes, Cole, a grown man, lets Aubree spray him with glitter. The love must be so real. She then uses some of the spray on Chelsea — just her legs though, since she's feeding Watson — and she also squirts some around the living room. When she's done, she gives Cole a hug as he congratulates her on a job well done. And just like the Grinch, our hearts grew three sizes by watching this. Jenelle Evans: STILL Not Inviting Her Poor Mother to Her Wedding!

That Jenelle Evans sure is a piece of work, isn’t she? Sure, she’s come a long way — we’re like 99% sure she’s not doing heroin anymore, and that’s a big achievement — but girl’s still got some issues. One of those issues, maybe even the biggest one, is the way she seems completely incapable of seeing the reality of any given situation. For example, you know that whole thing where she’s been on a reality show for years now, which means that there is video evidence of so many things that have happened to her? Even despite that, she still tried to rewrite history in her new book, Read Between the Lines: From the Diary of a Teenage Mom. In one section of the book, she writes that when her oldest child, Jace, was an infant, her mother, Barbara Evans “convinced me to go out with my friends so I could relax.” She says she “should have been suspicious,” but she “took the bait” anyway, and then stayed out all night with her pals. The next morning, Jenelle claims that Child Protective Services was waiting for her at her home, and her mother had lied and told them that she went out partying every night. And that’s why Babs got custody of Jace, because she set Jenelle up. Never mind that on the show, we did see her go out partying night after night, we saw her leaving her baby at home and acting like it wasn’t a big deal. And we even saw her sitting down with a lawyer to sign custody over to her mother, and it wasn’t at all an ambush like she described it. Now that we’re all refreshed with how delusional Jenelle can be, let’s move on to the news of the day: this new, heartbreaking interview poor Barbara just did with People. In the interview, good ol’ Babs talks about her daughter’s upcoming wedding — Jenelle’s marrying David Eason in September out on their swamp. “She’s been saying she’s having her wedding , running around with her family of friends, but you know what she says?” Barbara asks. “‘My mother Barbara is not invited.’ She’s not inviting me to her own wedding. It’s very painful .” She also says that Jenelle isn’t inviting her older brother and sister, either. “I’m just hurt with Jenelle,” she continues. “She just excludes us out of her life. Jenelle is Jenelle. She’s all about Jenelle.” She adds that the last time she spoke to her was three weeks ago: they had a conversation about Jace’s birthday party next month. It’s just sad, isn’t it? Barbara has given up so much of herself to raise Jenelle’s son while she’s gone out to smoke weed, do heroin, pop pills, and pop out two more kids. You’d think she’d be a little bit grateful, but nope. Instead, Jenelle gives interviews about how she’s “lost all respect” for her mother because she won’t just drop Jace off at her house and move on. “I told her,” Jenelle has said, “if you want to be back in my life in any way, you can give me back my son and we can start from there.” Except Jace will be 8 years old next month, and Jenelle’s only started turning her life around recently. Also, there are lawyers and judges involved at this point — it’s not like Barbara is some evil witch who kidnapped Jace and is holding him in a tower somewhere. In reality, she’s been the only parent Jace has ever known. But, like we said, Jenelle has a hard time with reality. That’s why she’s not inviting her own mother to her wedding, and a good part of why she’s possibly the worst Teen Mom of them all. O.J. Simpson: Plotting Revenge Against … Kim Kardashian?!

Unless you’ve tuned out the news entirely due to the events of the past nine months, you’re probably aware that O.J. Simpson was granted parole last week. Yes, the Juice will soon be loose after serving nine years in prison on robbery charges. A lengthy bid, to be sure, but O.J. got off pretty easy when you consider he  totally allegedly murdered two people. Anyway, O.J. was sentenced to an astonishing 33 years, and some folks believed he’d never live to see his release date. But now, Simpson is soon to be a free man once again, and many who were once close to the former NFL star/probable double murderer are understandably a bit worried. Among the concerned parties are several members of the Kardashian clan. The family was once close with O.J. but the relationship was damaged irreparably by that whole “him almost certainly killing two people” thing. We learned earlier this week that Kris and Caitlyn Jenner are “terrified” by the news of O.J.’s impending release. And now it seems they may not be alone in their totally justified fear of a seriously scary dude. Radar Online has spoken with a former cellmate of Simpson’s named Vernon Nelson, and based on the ex-con’s claims, Kim Kardashian may want to double down on her security detail. It seems O.J. is quite displeased with Kim for comments she made on Keeping Up With the Kardashians implying that he’s guilty of the murders of Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson. “Simpson griped, ‘I always treated Kim with respect. I don’t know why she would dog me out, but I guess she will do anything to promote their reality show.’” Nelson wrote in an email interview with the site. The former inmate also claims that Simpson blasted Kim with “very powerful and serious” insults that “made the hairs on my arm stand up!” Ominously, when Nelson asked Simpson if he had a message for those on the outside who he felt had wronged him, the former football star seethed: “Tell them to expect me like they’re expecting Jesus to come back because I’m coming!”  We’re no biblical scholars, but we’re pretty sure Jesus didn’t come back, like, to stab everyone. Thankfully, it’s unlikely that the 70-year-old Simpson would ever be able to get anywhere near the heavily-guarded Kim, but still. Jennifer Lopez: I Don’t Want A-Rod to Be My Fourth Ex-Husband!

You don’t want to dive head-first into anything, least of all marriage. Scratch that — especially marriage, least of all your fourth marriage. It sounds like Jennifer Lopez is taking past lessons to heart as, according to a new report, she’s getting cold feet about the prospect of marrying A-Rod. Even though the two of them seem to be in love to a nauseating degree . According to Life & Style ‘s source, Jennifer Lopez doesn’t want Alexander Rodriguez to become her fourth ex-husband . And, admittedly, four ex-spouses is kind of on the high side, even by Hollywood standards. “Jennifer worries she’s going to make another mistake,” says the source. But it sounds like A-Rod has really been pushing for them to make it official. (Understandable, since J Lo is legendarily hot and it sounds like he’s crazy about her) Apparently, though, his eagerness is backfiring. “She doesn’t work well under pressure. A-Rod just has to back off.” We don’t know that we’d say that she doesn’t work well under pressure — she’s a performer. But many people balk when they feel that they’re being rushed to make major decisions. You want to make sure that you’re doing it right. (The best time to start planning a simple vacation is a year in advance, after all) J Lo, it seems, isn’t quite ready to take her fourth plunge. “Jennifer keeps telling Alex that she’s ‘just not there yet.” ( Life & Style humorously asks “how many ex husbands are too many?” Our first thought was a veiled widow at the funeral of her seventh rich husband, checking her bank account on her phone and asking herself that very same question) Jennifer Lopez has been married three times, and two of those marriages were almost astoundingly brief. Let’s take you through them: -Fellow actor Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998 -Backup dancer Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003 -Singer, songwriter, and producer Marc Anthony from 2004 to 2014 It was of course with Marc Anthony that J Lo had her twins, Emme Maribel Muñiz and Maximillian David Muñiz, born February 22nd, 2008. Ojani Noa has said that he was looking forward to spending the rest of his life with J Lo. He blames her for choosing her career over him. (Honestly, considering her career … it’s really hard to fault her for that. You’d have to be some dumbass Disney character to choose love over that, right? … No offense to Disney characters) It’s understandable that, just three years after ending her marriage to Marc Anthony, J Lo would be cautious about getting hitched again. That wouldn’t explain why she may still be texting Casper Smart . But you want to explore all of your options before you tie the knot. They haven’t even been a couple for all that long. Real life relationships shouldn’t move at a soap opera pace. (Or have as many evil twins) We first told you that J Lo and A-Rod were dating back in March. Four months later and some change … is just not enough time to decide to get married, folks. So J Lo is right to press on the brakes. And once you’ve been through some marriages, it’s easy to a wedding as just a prelude to a divorce. We’ve all heard allegations that Jennifer Lopez isn’t a reliably good tipper to her servers in some situations, but all in all, we still want her to be happy. (Though please tip your servers, especially if you’re mega-rich, but also if you’re literally anyone) We hope that she’s having fun with A-Rod — which she clearly is — and that she’ll continue to enjoy the relationship for as long as it lasts. But if she’s anxious and wanting to take her time with this relationship, we say to follow those instincts.

Jada Pinkett-Smith Addresses Rumor that She and Will Smith Are Swingers!

Everybody's been subject to rumors at one point or another, but the ones about celebrities tend to be the most outlandish. Secret societies and cult rituals! Cloning factories! You name it. But even so, when a Watch What Happens Live caller asked Jada Pinkett-Smith to address the “craziest” rumor about her … we didn't quite expect this reply, which you can see in the video below! Jada laughs with Andy Cohen and mulls it over for a moment. “The craziest rumor? That Will and I are swingers.” (Swingers, of course, are couples who meet with other couples and exchange sex partners) We were a little surprised at that answer, but Jada certainly seems amused. (And we guess that it would somehow fit with the rumor that Jada Pinkett-Smith and Will Smith are both gay … somehow) And she says that, even though she and Will have been together for ages, that rumor still somehow follows them. “That's the craziest one. … It’s constant.” As to her general response to the rumor? “And I’m like, 'Yo, I wish!'” For the record, being a swinger isn't something that you're born with. If Jada and Will wanted to be swingers, they could be. Jada Pinkett-Smith also responds to Andy Cohen's next question, replying that she and Will have been together for 23 years. That would be a long-ass time for a regular, non-celebrity couple to be married. The average length of a marriage that ends in divorce is 8 years. The Smiths have been together for almost three marriages, basically. Jada Pinkett-Smith has laughed off divorce rumors in the past , quashing them before they can pick up steam. And they've also managed to basically avoid aging during that time. Jada addressed how they'd managed to remain a couple for so long. “I really think that Will and I just have amazing chemistry on a lot of different levels.” That's always good, of course. “We love to laugh together, we love to learn together, and we just love each other.” That's so cute! “We just have a good time together.” Good — if you need to escape from your spouse to have a good time, you're doing it wrong. (Though you should still, you know, be an individual who can go out and have fun) “Yeah, I guess that’s the secret. Yeah, we just really like each other!” It's funny, because a running joke among LGBT folks on social media is that straight couples don't seem to like each other. Married straight people often joke about their husbands being lazy or their wives nagging or call their spouse “the old ball and chain.” Since many LGBT people had to campaign for years or decades for the simple right to marry their partner, it seemed perplexing to see couples who'd always had that right act resentful, as if they'd been paired up against their will. It looks like Jada and Will just discovered one of the big “secrets” to happy same-sex marriages: actually liking your spouse . The swinging is an entertaining story. But we wonder if it's a deflection. When we think of rumors about the Smiths, we think of the rumor that they're both Scientologists. They've denied it, but it's interesting that Jada doesn't bring it up here. Anyway, see her reaction below in this video:
