Taylor Swift Tried, Failed to Keep Joe Alwyn Relationship a Secret

Taylor Swift is pissed. We don’t mean that she’s angry about the new Katy Perry diss track directed at her (although that’s almost certainly the case). No, we’re talking about Taylor’s outrage over the whole finding out about her new relationship. As you may have heard, Taylor is dating Joe Alwyn . Alwyn is an actor , but he’s not super famous like her like every single one of her previous beaus. Many have taken Alwyn’s status as a relative unknown as a positive indication that Taylor has learned from her past relationships. Another good sign? Whereas Taylor stopped just short of taking out an ad in Variety to announce her previous romances, she tried to keep her relationship with Alwyn on the down-low. Unfortunately, as she has no experience with doing anything low-key, she’s not very good at it, and the press found out about Joe almost immediately. “Taylor went to great lengths to keep their relationship private and out of the spotlight while [she and Alwyn] have been getting to know one another,” an insider tells E! News. “She has made several trips to see him, but always flies in and out on a private jet with lots of security and has been flying into very small and remote airports.” Yep, Taylor was probably out there meeting dude on foggy runways in a trench coat with the collar turned up. We’re guessing tt was like something straight out of Casablanca , and … dammit, we just gave her the concept for her next video, didn’t we? Anyway, the source claims that Taylor even had a Plan B in place for times when the press started wondering why she was spending so much time in London: “If she was seen in England, she made sure everyone thought it was a work trip,” the insider claims. “Taylor and Joe have really tried to be on lockdown and have spent most of their time together in private locations where they could get to know each other without the pressure of a public relationship and people making judgment calls.” The source adds that Taylor was initially “bummed” that the word got out about her relationship, but now she sees an upside: “At the same time, she is really excited about being with Joe and is hoping she can relax a little bit more now and just enjoy being with him,” the tipster says. Jill Duggar Reveals Friend’s Shocking Murder, Prompts Safety Concerns From Fans

Back in February,  Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard returned to El Salvador to continue performing missionary work in the one of the Central American nation’s poorest villages. It wasn’t Jill and Derick’s first time taking such a trip, but this time around, Jill is pregnant with her second child , and the couple is traveling with their young son Israel Dillard in tow. As a result, many fans chided the Dillards for putting themselves and their son in danger – and that chorus of criticism will likely grow louder in the wake of a stunning new revelation from Jill: Taking to her family’s official website yesterday, Jill informed fans that she and Derick are currently mourning the loss of a close friend. A friend who was recently murdered in one of El Salvador’s crime-plagued slums. “We received a phone call on Monday from a friend here in Central America informing us that one of our other good friends (a fellow Christian) had been murdered the day before and that his family had found his body down by the river earlier that morning,” Jill wrote Jill didn’t offer many specifics, but it seems the friend was a native of El Salvador, whom she and Derick had become close with in recent weeks. “Even though we had spoke [sic] with our friend and his family about the realities of the dangers here, and especially in their area right now, we were shocked when we learned of his kidnap and murder,” Jill revealed. She added: “We’ve had them into our home three times in the past couple weeks!” Jill went on to report that Derick attended the unnamed friend’s funeral, while she stayed home in stunned disbelief: “After our regular church service last night, Derick was able to attend the funeral service with some people from church while Israel and I (Jill) stayed back at the house,” Jill wrote. “Typically funerals are held in a family member’s home and last several hours into the night. “Our friend’s funeral was held in their area and Derick and some men from church were able to share some words of encouragement with the family and guests. We have cried and continue to grieve the loss of our dear friend. ” Since the time of the Dillards’ first mission trip, fans have expressed concerns about the family’s safety. Jill has written about safety issues in the past, and many have pointed out that life in El Salvador seems to have had a negative impact on  Derick’s health .  But Jill has given no indication that she and Derick are planning to return to the States ahead of schedule. Chris Cornell Dies; Lead Soundgarden Singer Was 52

Chris Cornell, a musician who rose to fame as the lead singer of Soundgarden before taking on the same role for Audioslave, died Wednesday night in Detroit. He was 52 years old. Brian Bumbery, a rep for the artist, has confirmed this sad piece of news to the Associated Press and other outlets. Via a statement to CNN, Bumbery says that Cornell was performing in The Motor City with Soundgarden, which had embarked on a domestic tour in April, when he passed away. He referred to the death as “sudden and unexpected,” saying in full: “His wife Vicky and family were shocked to learn of his sudden and unexpected passing, and they will be working closely with the medical examiner to determine the cause. “They would like to thank his fans for their continuous love and loyalty and ask that their privacy be respected at this time.” Cornell had just taken the stage on Wednesday evening at the Fox Theater in Detroit. Soundgarden was among the most prominent bands in the grunge music scene that dominated the 1990s. The band’s hits included “Spoonman,” ”Fell on Black Days,” ”Black Hole Sun,” “My Wave” and “The Day I Tried to Live.” Cornell started his career in Seattle back in 1984 when he helped form the popular group. We will need to await an autopsy before learning the cause of death, but Cornell was open through the years about his struggle with alcohol abuse and those close to him who died from a similar addiction. “I’ve lost a lot of young, brilliant friends, people that I thought were very inspired,” he told Rolling Stone in 2015, adding: “They’re all young and these guys all had limitless potential in their lives in front of them.” It’s true: With his passing, Cornell joins a long line of lead grunge rock singers who died at a young age. To wit: – Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain was found dead in his Seattle home in 1994 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. – Alice in Chains’ original frontman, Layne Staley, died from a drug overdose in 2002. – Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots passed away of an accidental overdose in 2015. Soundgarden won two Grammy Awards in 1995. The track “Black Hole Sun” took home the Grammy for best hard rock performance, while the song “Spoonman” won for best metal performance that year. After the band broke up in 1997, Cornell performed solo for a few years prior to forming Audioslave. That super group included former Rage Against the Machine members Tom Morello, Brad Wilk and Tim Commerford, and had a successful run in its own right. Soundgarden reunited in 2012 and released the band’s sixth studio album, “King Animal.” Wrote musician Dave Navarro upon learning Cornell had died: “SO SO stunned to hear about Chris Cornell! Scotty Ayre: Leah Messer’s Secret Boyfriend Revealed?!

If you watch Teen Mom 2 online , you know that Leah Messer has been involved in several tumultuous relationships during her time on the show. Some have been high-profile, such as Messer’s two failed marriages . While others have been considerably more low-key, such as Leah’s relationship with T.R. Dues . Now, we’re learning that Dues wasn’t Messer’s only secret boyfriend, and that she kept one relationship so thoroughly on the down-low that even the most gossip-starved TM2 obsessives had no idea she was seeing anyone. An aspiring model named Scotty Ayres has revealed to Radar Online that he and Leah dated for several weeks during the summer of 2016. “We were a ‘thing’ but she didn’t know what she wanted so we just fell out,” Ayres tells Radar. “ He adds, “It was a train wreck dating her” … but then he doesn’t really go into much detail. In fact, despite considerable evidence to the contrary, Ayres denies that Messer was addicted to prescription drugs at one point. “She didn’t take nothing that she wasn’t prescribed,” he claims. “She’s not a druggie at all! She’s a good-hearted girl.” Of course, just because she wasn’t using during the short period of time that she dated Ayres, that doesn’t mean Messer never struggled with addiction. But despite his claim that their relationship was a “trainwreck,” Ayres has nothing negative to say about Messer’s behavior. However, the reason for that might be that he’s holding out hope that they’ll eventually get back together. “I wish she would give me another chance, but I have to let her come to me,” he said. “I can’t chase her.” Gotta love a guy who will talking to the press about your relationship and act like he’s giving you your space at the same time. Ayres concluded by offering some douchey words of advice to someone he may or may not have hooked up with almost a year ago: “She needs to focus on herself first before she needs a man,” he said. Joe Alwyn: Oh, Yes, He’s Dating Taylor Swift!

Taylor Swift has been out of the spotlight for several months. And we may now know why: The singer is in love! Again! Maybe! According to numerous celebrity gossip outlets, Swift is dating a British film and theater actor named  Joe Alwyn . The Sun was the first newspaper or magazine to report this news… and it has us SO excited! Swift is allegedly renting a home in North London in order to be close to her new man, while a source tells the U.K. publication that Taylor is taking extreme measures to go unnoticed while spending time with Alwyn. She supposedly uses wigs and other disguises to go unnoticed while hanging out with Alwyn overseas. E! News even writes that Swift is making a “military-like” effort to keep this relationship on the Down Low, which would mean she’s learned a lesson or two from her past failures with the opposite sex. The singer, of course, has often been criticized for flaunting romances with such fellow celebrities as Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston. In a recent interview, Harry Styles didn’t seem too excited to talk about Swift, either. The suddenly elusive artist has scarcely been heard from since last summer, taking a hiatus from the spotlight after Kim Kardashian exposed Taylor as a liar by playing for the world a phone conversation she had with Kanye West. In the damning conversation, Swift and West talked about the rapper’s track “Famous,” proof that Taylor actually was aware Kanye planned to slam her in one of the song’s verses. She had previously played ignorant and annoyed when asked about the single. However, Swift did resurface over Mother’s Day weekend, marking the first time photographers snapped her since January. The superstar spent the holiday in Nashville, Tennessee at her mom Andrea Swift’s residence, not long after she also made her return to Instagram . As for Joe Alwyn? We don’t know how the two met. But one insider says the following to The Sun: “Taylor and Joe are the real deal, this is a very serious relationship. But after what happened with Tom Hiddleston, they were determined to keep it quiet.” As for who Joe Alwyn actually is ?!? Allow us to rundown some facts about the 26-year old: He lives with his parents. He made his feature film debut opposite Kristen Stewart, Vin Diesel, Garret Hedlund and Steve Martin in 2016’s Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk. He recently wrapped production on upcoming flick, The Favourite, and will star as Emma Stone’s love interest. He loves… The Twilight Saga?!? “I’ve seen one of them twice,” Alwyn admitted of the vampire film franchise while doing press with Stewart for the aforementioned movie. Keiynan Lonsdale Comes Out as Bisexual: Read His Moving Statement

Keiynan Lonsdale has an announcement to make. The actor, best known for his role on The Flash as Wally West, shared a lengthy Instagram post over the weekend in which he opened up about his personal life. Specifically, Lonsdale admitted that he’s attracted to both men and women. “I like to change my hair, I like to take risks with how I dress, I like girls, and I like guys (yes),” wrote the 25-year old star, who you may also recognize as Uriah from the movie Allegiant. He added on Saturday, May 13: “I like growing, I like learning, I like who I am and I really like who I’m becoming. “Spent way too many years hating myself, thinking I was less valuable because I was different … which is just untrue.” Lonsdale included the following photo with his announcement and went on to explain that a “couple years ago” he was “able to accept” himself. Wrote the star: “It saved my life, but now I’ve gotten to a new road block and I feel kind of lost. I gotta take the next step and actually embrace who I am, which is pretty exciting. “Not faking sh-t anymore, not apologizing for falling in love with people no matter their gender. I’ve become bored of being insecure, ashamed, scared.” Good. We admire Lonsdale for fully embracing who he really is. Life of Kylie: Watch the Full Trailer!

E! has unveiled the first full-length trailer for Life of Kylie. And this video takes fans even farther inside the unique universe of its star than the initial teaser that dropped last week . Despite having been in the public eye since puberty, and despite appearing most Sunday nights on Keeping Up with the Kardashians , Kylie claims in this preview that you don't really know her. What else can she say, really? If you did know her, you likely would not bother tuning in for her very own reality show. “When you grow up on camera, everybody feels like they know you, but they don't,” the 19-year-old explains, adding: “I feel like a lot of people have misconceptions of who I am.” Jenner has been on television since she was nine years old, evolving over the years into a social media superstar and business mogul. But is the young woman we see posing seductively on Instagram truly Kylie? “There's two sides of me. There's an image that I feel constantly pressured to keep up with, and who I really am around my friends,” she also says in this trailer. “This show is a gift for my fans.” AWWW, a gift! How kind of Kylie! “Nobody has a perfect life. But I'm not totally innocent because I am keeping up this lifestyle. I can't do it forever,” Kylie admits here. “This isn't Keeping Up With the Kardashians. This is like a therapy session.” Life of Kylie will debut at 10/9c on July 6. Will the teenager be able to right her family's sinking ship, as ratings for Keeping Up With the Kardashians continue to plummet on Season 13? Will she finally, officially, once and for all overtake Kim Kardashian as the money-generating face (and body, of course) of her famous family? We'll soon find out.
