Congress has passed a bill ensuring all federal employees will be compensation retroactively after the partial Government shutdown concludes. On Thursday the Senate approved a bill unanimously and on Friday the House passed a bull requiring all employees including furloughed ones be paid as soon as possible once the Government reopens. Alexx, who found his match with Ashlee and Mike and Shea, who seemed to fall in love at first sight. Weeks before the cast reunited to revisit the ups and downs of the show, BOSSIP sat down with Mike and Shea to talk about the experience. BOSSIP: Do you think you two would have met if you hadn’t done the show? Shea: I don’t see how we could have, because I have a certain route and I don’t detour, I don’t hang out. I worked for the radio station but even then I chose not to be out, I’d be in the station running the boards. I’m just not a going out person. And I enjoy naps. BOSSIP: You guys were locked in from day one — was it love at first sight? Shea: For me the attraction was there, Mike did something that I don’t typically like, he did the come here [motions with her finger]. Mike: Soon as she walked in. Shea: And that was it. The conversation was fun, it wasn’t too heavy. He wasn’t trying to interrogate me, he had roots going back to the Midwest and he was funny and I could laugh. BOSSIP: Do you think it’s really that hard dating in Atlanta? Mike: Anything with Black folks gets a bad rap. Africa, Atlanta. I think Atlanta is a beautiful place, it’s the Wakanda of America. It’s thriving. You’ve got a bunch of young black entrepreneurs, the government is not holding you back. For me, as far as dating was concerned, because I don’t go to clubs, I don’t go to lounges, I’ve been here four or five years and people are like, where have you been? I go to bed at like 10. And if I go to the gym I’m not going to ask someone to remove their headphones to talk to me, I’m not shy or anything like that. I think people don’t self reflect enough, they just put it on the location. Because if you’re having problems dating in Atlanta, you’ll have problems in California or anywhere else. BOSSIP: What do you think made you guys’ situation go so much more smoothly than some of the others? Shea: What I like about Mike is we bounce a lot of ideas off each other, we both have unconventional lifestyles. I might say, ‘I can’t go to dinner, I’m too tired,’ and he’s fine with that. I’m not at a point anymore where I’m pressed about anything. If he’s busy I trust him, if I don’t see him today I’ll see him tomorrow. Mike: And it makes a man miss a woman. I’m not used to that. You don’t want it to become like washing dishes, damn I gotta wash the dishes. I don’t have to check in, She’s checking on and I like that about her. Shea: He has to have his personal space. You need to have your space on your own, outside of me and I gotta respect that, just like I may not want to be bothered everyday all day long either. We’ve got to respect each other’s boundaries and personal space. I do that with my son. I built a room in my garage for him to have his own little man cave so he doesn’t have to be up under me all the time. This show is about compatibility, not a competition. People keep saying it’s a competition. All of the women are beautiful. All the women have something to bring to the table. Mike isn’t going to work for every chick and every dude is not gonna work for me. I understood that early on. BOSSIP: One of the conflicts you had was that Mike wants kids and Shea, your first experience with motherhood was rough. How did you guys work past that? Shea: It was rough. He [her ex] put me through it, but I had to take into account he was young, we both had no idea what we were doing, we both were young. We weren’t compatible. It would be like buying a house with someone and then being like, no you do it, you got it. Mike: I think the misconception was that I was asking for a child right now. We don’t know each other well enough to say ‘Hey let’s have a child,’ it’s more so of — she had postpartum depression. I didn’t know anything about that, a lot of men don’t, so it was just like ‘Why wouldn’t you want to have a child?’ When she broke it down to me I had to understand from that aspect. I never had a child before. So I just had to understand and be patient. She’s open now, so now that we know she is open, when we get to that point we’re like okay, first we’re going to get married, because marriage is supposed to come before a baby. I didn’t wait 39 years to just throw a baby in somebody. I really do want to have a baby, but I didn’t want to let this woman go because everything about her is so dope. That’s why I learned patience too, because it was something so strong I took the time to find out why. I understand now and with time she said, ‘I could see you being a good father, so if we get to the point of marriage I would be willing to have children with you.’ Hit the flip for more from this beautiful couple.

He explains why he is opening up in a new magazine feature. As spotted on Complex the New Orleans Native covers the February edition of GQ . As part of the yearly music issue he provides some context behind some of his most recent moves specifically making his Instagram account public back in November . Being that the “Novacane” crooner is uber private this was a pretty big deal. “I feel like there was dissonance between how I was seen by the audience and where I was actually, so that contributed to the decision to make my Instagram public, for sure,” he explained. “But there’s also the idea of dialogue and discourse and conversation—like theater where the audience can interrupt you versus the television.” When asked to provide examples of the perceived disconnect he pointed to his overall public perception that in his mind couldn’t be farther from reality. “That dissonance—the word being a big container for what I was feeling…the way I was seen was not even close to correct. It’s still not correct, either.” He also details how moving to New York City is going. “I like it a lot because I spend more time at the house. I think it comes from living in hotels, but when I’m in L.A., I find myself in my car a lot.… Which is stress. Once Stormy went live, she proceeded to fold her unmentionables while listening to Pink Floyd ‘s “Another Brick in the Wall.” She also ate some delicious chips as her soundtrack switched to Taylor Swift ‘s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” A song aimed at Trump, no doubt. Both Trump’s address and Stormy’s folding ended up being ten minutes total, and Stormy said she attracted 100,000 viewers during her broadcast. She must’ve been satisfied with this number when she playful posted a pic of herself on IG, writing, “Laundry is done!” Surely, Trump was devastated he missed the live house chores because he was too busy selling crap to the American people. Him and Stormy will forever be linked since Stormy claimed they had a fling back in 2006 while Trump was still married to Melania Trump . Bezos announced today that after a lengthy trial separation, he and wife Mackenzie Bezos have decided to file for divorce. “We want to make people aware of a development in our lives,” Bezos tweeted Wednesday morning. “As our family and close friends know, after a long period of loving exploration and trial separation, we have decided to divorce and continue our shared lives as friends.” “We feel incredibly lucky to have found each other and deeply grateful for every one of the years we have been married to each other. If we had known we would separate after 25 years, we would do it all again,” he added. With a net worth of $137.4 billion, Bezos is the world’s richest man. It’s unclear if the couple had a prenuptial agreement, but since most of Bezos’ wealth is tied up in the massive online retailer he founded, it’s unlikely that Mackenzie will become the world’s richest divorcee. UPDATE: It is now being rumored that Bezos carried on an affair last year with former So You Think You Can Dance host Lauren Sanchez. The couple met at the New York hedge fund D.E. Shaw, where Bezos, the company’s vice president hired Mackenzie for a job. 2019 has scarcely begun, but Florida Woman is already making multiple headlines. This time, a woman in Florida has been arrested after she flew into a rage and attacked her elderly parents. See, she had wanted to go to Outback Steakhouse — and they had said “no.” 28-year-old Deana Seltzer lives with her parents in Lake Worth, Florida. Last week, she apparently wanted to go to Outback Steakhouse, a franchise restaurant. (The franchise is so common that we covered a story about an Outback server in Florida just last year in this same county) Her elderly parents, Vadim Seltzer and Lydumila Seltzer, reportedly told her that they were not going to that establishment. Deana did not handle the disappointment well. Instead, she allegedly violently attacked both of her parents. According to authorities, Deana “became enraged” when her mother turned down her request. She allegedly struck her mother with her closed fist, striking her mother's torso. Deana is said to have scretched her father in multiple places during her furious assault. Vadim called 9-1-1 after Deana waved a 12-inch decorate knife in the air. “I'm going to f–king kill you,” she reportedly threatened. Her parents have been described as frail and elderly, but Vadim was able to separate the knife from his daughter before things escalated further. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says that when they arrived on the scene, Deana surrendered peacefully. That, at least, is good. She had apparently done damage to more than just her parents. Apparently she did a lot of damage to furniture. Officers describe seeing a “large glass dining room table flipped over and broken glass scattered throughout the dining area.” Deana Seltzer is charged with battery, battery of a person 65 or older, and two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. A common milestone for adulthood is realizing that you can make choices. You can choose what to buy at the grocery store, where you go out to eat, and what to eat for dinner. There's even the moment when you're with family and can finally answer that “do you have McDonald's money?” or its equivalent with yes, mom, I do . Some people, because of disabilities or the nightmarish economic reality that is the 21st century, do not get to make those choices. It is very understanding that an adult still dependent upon the whims of their parent would be frustrated at a lack of choices. But violence is not the answer. Ever. And, let's be real, even if it were appropriate to respond to a “no” with violence, it wouldn't be over Outback Steakhouse. There's more to life than a Blooming Onion.

We know she’s desperate for money and attention, and a few trashy outlets have paid her for interviews. But it often seems that there’s more than just simple greed at work here. Samantha really seems to be the sort of wicked royal semi-sibling we thought only existed in fairy tales. Fortunately, it seems that Meg’s half-brother Thomas Markle Jr. is motivated by slightly less sinister forces. He really just wanted to cash in on his sister’s fame (which is why he wrote an open letter to Prince Harry begging him not to marry Meghan), and it seems that now that he’s realized that’s never gonna happen, he’s trying to bury the hatchet. Thomas is set to marry fiancee Darlene Blount in March, and he’s made it clear that he’d like Meghan and Prince Harry to be guests of honor at the wedding. “‘Absolutely I think our wedding will bring the family closer together. It’s hopeful that if Meghan and Harry came and my father,” Thomas recently told The Daily Mail. “Meghan and Harry could spend some time together with him and that would be good.” Thomas says when he first informed Darlene that his sister was dating Prince Harry, she was understandably skeptical: “I remember that very well — Meghan and Harry had just started dating and I mentioned it to her and she looked at me like, ‘Yeah, who is this guy? Whatever! He’s crazy,'” he recalls. “But it turned out really nice and we’ve had a really good time ever since. [We’ve had] ups and downs but we’ve managed to make it so far.” “I thought he was completely crazy,” Darlene says of Thomas’ revelation. You still might not be wrong on that one, Darlene. Thomas Sr., meanwhile, says he has no intention of relenting in his obnoxious stalker-like efforts to form a relationship with his sister (something he showed zero interest in during the first 35 years of her life). “I’ll keep talking and I’ll probably get louder.
