His personal life may be a ridiculous mess, but Kris Humphries just got his professional world in order: ESPN reports that the ex-husband of Kim Kardashian has signed a two-year, $24 million contract with the Brooklyn Nets. The 27-year-old power forward averaged career-highs of 13.8 points and 11.0 rebounds per game with that club last season. Does the rich new deal mean Humphries will finally relent in his divorce proceedings, signing his name on the dotted line and legally ending his relationship with Kardashian? It doesn’t seem likely. In the latest development surrounding that bizarre case, Myla Sinanaj has addressed Kim and told her to keep her out of the former couple’s beef. One thing is certain: Humphries will be crashing the boards in Brooklyn, and receiving many more boos on the road, throughout 2012-2013.

Myla Sinanaj has gone from pregnant to virginal in just over a week. Sort of. Days after reports stated the ex-girlfriend of Kris Humphries was pregnant with the NBA player’s baby, Myla now says she was never pregnant – and never Humphries girlfriend! “We’re just friends,” Sinanaj said today on Kidd Kraddick In The Morning , responding to a question of whether she ever had sex with Humphries by citing his legally married status and adding: “No, I don’t do that type of thing.” It was just a few weeks ago, of course, where Myla was supposedly threatening to expose Humphries as a liar who talked incessantly about Kim Kardashian and was pondering a lawsuit against him for defaming a character. What has changed since? Why the entirely different story? We don’t want to say the only answer is money. But the only real answer is money.

Might the Myla Sinanaj and Kris Humphries love story actually have a happy ending? Following weeks of contentious exchanges – which included Myla Sinanaj being subpoenaed to testify in her ex-boyfriend’s divorce battle with Kim Kardashian, and also threatening to sue Kris for defamation of character – TMZ now reports the busty brunette actually wants to get back together with Humphries. She is pregnant his baby after all. Sources tell TMZ that Sinanaj has forgone plans to sue Humphries AND agreed to sign a confidentiality agreement that forces her to keep quiet about whatever Kris told her during their relationship. Perhaps Humphries offered her a chunk of whatever settlement he receives from his official Kardashian split? Myla even believes there’s a “good chance” she and Humphries will date again in the near future. Who says love is dead, people? We’ll update this story with whatever ridiculous development goes down next.

As someone looking to milk as much as possible out of his ex-wife? Humphries believes he can use the fact that Kim and Kanye filmed their recent night out in NYC as evidence that Kardashian only dates – or, in his case, marries – for the sake of publicity. “The crux of Kris’ case for annulment is that Kim married him under fraudulent pretenses and did it for her reality show,” a Team Humphries source says, adding that his lawyers wonder: “When did Kim develop romantic feelings for Kanye and why after publicly stating she wouldn’t feature any future romantic relationships on her reality shows, did she do a complete 360?” The mole adds that Kris and Kim haven’t talked in months.
