Even though Suge insists that he had no idea he hit anyone , the DA feels that the video evidence shows deliberate action, revoked his bail , and have charged him with several counts of murder. Via TMZ : Suge Knight has just been charged with murder in the death of his friend, and sources say a videotape will be a key piece of evidence. The L.A. County D.A. just filed the charges in connection with the death of Terry Carter … who was killed Thursday after Suge ran him over in Compton. Suge ran over an adversary — Cle “Bone” Sloan — and Carter was accidentally struck and killed. In addition to murder, Suge was charged with attempted premeditated murder, hit and run resulting in death, and hit and run resulting in injury — all felonies. As we previously reported, deputies obtained a video of the incident. Law enforcement sources say the video captures “a portion” of what went down, but authorities tell us it significantly strengthens the case against Suge. Suge’s bail was revoked Monday … the bail commissioner decided he’s a flight risk and might intimidate witnesses. If convicted, Suge faces life. Suge Knight is officially the suspect of a homicide investigation following a fatal hit-and-run car accident that left one man dead and another injured. Allegedly, Suge Knight killed a man in a hit-and-run after the filming of a promotional shoot for the upcoming N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton . Knight is then believed to have fled the scene following the accident. TMZ reports that Knight and friend Terry Carter were visiting the set when security guards asked the former Death Row executive to leave. After exiting the vehicle, Knight then got into a fight with two crew members before getting back into his vehicle and gunning it into reverse. However, Carter was reportedly attempting to reenter the vehicle by going behind the it toward the passenger door when Knight struck him. Carter was later pronounced dead at the hospital. However, according to the Los Angeles Times , about 20 minutes after the alleged argument on set, the victims were seen at nearby Tam’s Burgers. Knight is believed to have followed the men in his truck and run them over in the parking lot, backing them over them before leaving the scene. One victim, 55, died. The other, 51, suffered undisclosed injuries, and the incident is being treated as a homicide rather than a traffic accident. Deaths caused by motor vehicles are considered homicides only if authorities determine the driver intentionally used the vehicle as a weapon. The other man injured has been identified as actor Cle “Bone” Sloan. His relationship to Knight, along with Carter’s, remains the subject of debate. After initially declining to name a suspect in the incident, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department later issued a BOLO (“Be on the look out”) alert. Suge Knight: From Death Row to Near Death 1. 2 Men Shot While Getting Lap Dances In Oklahoma Strip Club What is the world coming to when a man can’t bump n’ grind in peace?! Via NYDailyNews Two men are lucky to be alive after being shot while enjoying a lap dance at an Oklahoma strip club. The duo were partying at Cloud 9 in Tulsa at 2:34 a.m. Saturday when they were hit by a bullet fired from outside, reports KRMG. The projectile passed through a wall and into one of the pair’s arms, before bouncing off the second man’s chest. It then landed in his lap. Both men were sitting down and receiving erotic dances from strippers. Tulsa police Capt. Cathy Reynolds said the victim who was struck in the arm was rushed to hospital and treated for non life-threatening injuries, according to Tulsa World. The second man was uninjured as the bullet had lost all of its energy by the time it hit his chest, she added. Cops are now investigating the incident, reports Public Radio Tulsa. There’s more trouble for the Baltimore Ravens today, as Darren Sanders – the team’s head of security – has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman during the team’s December 14 game against the Cleveland Browns. TMZ has obtained a police report that details the woman’s accusations against Sanders. Ravens Head of Security Charged With Sexual Assault The unidentified alleged victim says she was working at the stadium on the day in question, and she was asked to escort Sanders to a different part of the stadium. According to the report, Sanders proceeded to “hit and/or grope her buttocks more than once.” The female employee says Sanders then “pressed his body against hers and kissed her neck and attempted to force her to grab his penis.” The woman was able to escape from the confrontation, and she immediately told several co-workers about the incident. Investigators say at least one person witnessed part of the interaction. Sanders has been charged with a fourth degree sex crime and is scheduled for a hearing on February 9. 2014 has already been marred by scandal for the Ravens organization. Footage of star running back Ray Rice assaulting his wife in an elevator emerged at the start of the football season. The Ravens terminated Rice’s contract almost immediately, but the damage to the team’s reputation had already been done. Suspect Arrested In Connection With Transgender Murder On asailant has finally been brought to justice after a brutal beating and execution of a transgender woman in LA last October. Police are still searching for the two other suspects that took place in the alleged robbery gone bad. Via LA Times : Los Angeles police have made an arrest in the October slaying of a transgender woman in East Hollywood. Aniya Knee Parker, 47, was fatally shot near Melrose and North Kenmore avenues on Oct. 2 during a dispute with three men. Police described the incident as a street robbery gone bad. An LAPD spokeswoman said Monday evening that details about the arrest — when it happened and the name of the person in custody — aren’t yet available, adding that detectives are still looking for two other suspects. Soon after the slaying, officials announced a $50,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. It wasn’t immediately clear if police received a tip that led to the recent arrest. Hopefully the other two are found soon…
Blue is the new black? Via RawStory A former Buffalo police officer says she is fighting to regain her pension after being fired for stopping a fellow officer from strangling a suspect, reports WKBW. According to the fired officer, Cariol Horne, she responded to a call of an officer in trouble on Nov. 1, 2006. When she arrived she discovered officer Gregory Kwiatkowski arresting a suspect, Neal Mack, who had been involved in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend. “He was handcuffed in the front and he was sideways and was being punched in the face by Gregory Kwiatkowski,” Horne remembered. Once Kwiatkowski pulled Mack out of the home, assisted by ten police officers who had responded to the call, Horne said the arresting officer began choking the suspect. “Gregory Kwiatkowski turned Neal Mack around and started choking him. So then I’m like, ‘Greg! You’re choking him,’ because I thought whatever happened in the house he was still upset about so when he didn’t stop choking him I just grabbed his arm from around Neal Mack’s neck,” said Horne. According to Horne, Kwiatkowski responded to her by punching her in the face. “He comes up and punches me in the face and I had to have my bridge replaced,” said Horne, who said she then tried to defend herself only to have other officers pull her away from Kwiatkowski, injuring her shoulder in the process. Following the incident, Horne was fired and charged with obstruction for “jumping on officer Kwiatkowski’s back and/or striking him with her hands.” To make matters worse… However, in a sworn statement regarding the incident Kwiatkowski said, “she never got on top of me.” Despite that, Horne lost every appeal and with her 19 year career over, losing her pension in the process. “My daughter said, ‘Mommy, why did you go to work that day?’ She never said, ‘Why did you do what you did?’ or ‘I wish you wouldn’t have done it,” Horne, the mother of five children said.”‘I wish you wouldn’t have gone to work that day.’ So I don’t regret it.” According to Horne, she now works as a truck driver to feed her family. As for Officer Kwiatkowski, he was forced to retire from the department after being suspended for choking another officer on the job and, in a separate incident, punching a fellow officer while off-duty.
