Robert F. Kennedy’s daughter Kerry Kennedy was arrested for DUI in New York for allegedly being under the influence of drugs when slamming into a tractor trailer. N.Y. State Police released a statement saying they received 911 calls around 8:00 a.m. reporting a woman in a 2008 Lexus who was driving in an “erratic manner.” Officers found Kerry’s damaged car nearby, with her behind the wheel. Officers approached the vehicle and determined that Kennedy, brother of RFK Jr. and sister-in-law of the late Mary Kennedy , was under the influence of drugs. Kerry works as the president of the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights and had been mourning the May death of Mary, her best friend. According to WABC in New York, Kerry Kennedy told officers she had taken an Ambien, a powerful prescription sleeping pill … that would probably do it. The 52-year-old Kennedy, the former wife of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, was arrested and charged with driving while impaired by drugs. Her spokesman denied she had been impaired. “Kerry Kennedy voluntarily took breathalyzer, blood and urine tests – all of which showed no drugs or alcohol whatsoever in her system,” Ken Sunshine said. “The charges were filed before the test results were available.” [Photo: WENN.com]
Weston Gosa, the father of 16 & Pregnant star Whitney Purvis’ child, was arrested for DUI in Georgia on the Fourth of July after allegedly crashing his car. He may or may not be aware of this fact yet. Judging by what has to be one of the top celebrity mug shots yet, Gosa wasn’t just driving under the influence … he was plastered out of his MIND: According to the Floyd County Police Department, the 23-year-old Gosa smashed his car, and was placed under arrest for driving under the influence. Police say Gosa was under the influence of prescription drugs at the time of his arrest – Xanax and Lorcet. He apparently has no prescription for either. Gosa has been charged with felony possession of controlled substances, misdemeanor possession of drug-related objects (he also had a pipe), and DUI. As for Whitney Purvis, she dumped this slacker last year (likely a smart move) … but was arrested herself in March for stealing a pregnancy test from Walmart .

In the grand scheme of Lindsay Lohan run-ins with the law, the car crash she was involved in Friday and later lied about to police is pretty tame. Still, it’s far from resolved and police are looking to interview her again. Cops plan on asking her a few follow-up questions; such questioning is pretty standard, regardless of whether one lies repeatedly to the police . It remains to be seen what, if any, consequences she will face. ” Lindsay was in shock at the time, but nonetheless she cooperated with the police,” a close source said of her first round of questioning. The source goes on: “Lindsay did everything that was asked of her, including submitting to a breathalyzer test which registered 0.00.” “The officers didn’t have reason to believe she was under the influence of any substances. Lindsay could be cited for speeding, and it will probably be determined that she was the primary or sole reason for the traffic accident.” In any case, the legal saga of Lindsay Lohan rolls on. During a concert in Tel Aviv last week, the Material Girl flashed a Swastika over the face of National Front leader Marine Le Pen, the political leader who has been accused of racism amidst her extremely conservative views. Catalina Clouser, a 19-year-old Phoenix, Ariz., woman, was arrested this weekend for driving away with her baby … ON TOP OF THE CAR. Police claim she put her five-week-old baby on top of her car in his car seat and drove off, apparently forgetting he was there, and not even noticing when the seat fell off of the vehicle and landed in an intersection, according to police. All of a sudden Tanning Mom looks like parent of the year. Woman Drives Away With Baby on Roof Neighbors discovered the baby on the road , still strapped to his safety seat, which was lying on its side. Luckily, the baby was completely unhurt. Clouser, who allegedly had been smoking marijuana, was arrested and charged with aggravated driving under the influence and child abuse. “We believe that whatever she was under the influence of was the deciding factor in what did happen to this child and we’re extremely happy that for the baby this turned out well and the baby is going to be OK,” a police spokesman said. Clauser, her boyfriend and their friends had been smoking marijuana earlier in the evening at a nearby park, but the boyfriend was arrested on suspicion of aggravated DUI when they went to a store – with the baby in the car – to get beer. Upset that her BF was arrested, Clauser went to a pal’s home to smoke more pot. Clauser left around midnight and apparently put the sleeping baby on the roof of the car and drove off, forgetting he was there, and continued driving. Leilani Gerlach, a homeowner who lives across from the intersection, notified police after she saw the baby in the car seat on the street. “We were both rolling our eyes in astonishment that someone could forget their baby,” Gerlach said. “The car seat was turned to the side so anyone passing by wouldn’t be able to tell there was an actual baby inside. Thank god they stopped.” After police arrived, two people walked up and told them the baby was Clausen’s. As the officers talked to the two, who identified themselves as friends of Clausen and her boyfriend, the young mother drove up, police said. “[She] had gotten into her car, set the baby seat on top of the car and forgot that the child was up there. It does not appear that immediately she realized what happened,” the police source said. “I think that perhaps she got where she was going and realized that she did not have the baby in the car.” “There was damage to the car seat, it was scraped but there was no damage to the child.” The baby is now in custody of Child Protective Services.

Dep Photo: Denise Truscello/ WireImage Not long after Diddy turned heads at Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group press conference on Wednesday, he appeared on Funkmaster Flex’s Hot 97 radio show and addressed the recent tribulations of two of his former Bad Boy artists: G. Dep and Mase. According to Diddy, G. Dep, who was recently convicted of second-degree murder on a 1993 shooting charge stemming from a botched robbery in Harlem, became a different person when severe substance-abuse issues took hold of his life. “None of that was in G. Dep’s nature. When there were certain things that he was going through with the substance-abuse situation, he would be a different person. But on an everyday [basis], he was probably one of the nicest, most quiet, shyest, most humble cats that was out there,” he told Flex. “I was like, OK, maybe he was under the influence when he confessed. And then out of nowhere, they said he was convicted, which was such a shame, because he’s such a great talent. And it all stemmed from substance abuse.” Diddy also recently got a surprise when recording for the remix to Wale’s “Slight Work.” He was paired with his former right-hand man Mase, a platinum-selling rapper who was rumored to be a new signee of Ross’ Maybach Music Group earlier this week. “Me and Mase are cool. We’ve kept in touch over the years. I love Mase,” he told Flex of the MC who once retired to become a preacher. “If it wasn’t for Mase, I wouldn’t be where I was at today. Me and him were like Batman and Robin. So it felt good to get back on a record with him, and it’s one of the hottest, most intense records in the club. That’s what I specialize in. And then talking that talk.” Last week Mase addressed a rumor that he might be signing with Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group . “[Rico Love] just called and asked me to take a ride with him — I didn’t know who was gonna be in the studio,” Mase explained. “I got there and everybody was there, and they just said, ‘Take a flick.’ The next thing I know I got a Maybach chain, I got 20 beats from Kanye. But who will have more fun: the fans or the headliners? During their nine-city Under the Influence of Music run , the Pittsburgh boys are planning plenty of backstage fun. “Your little crew better get your little selves together, ’cause T.G.O.D. is coming,” Wiz told Mac, playfully threatening his labelmate when they both appeared on “RapFix Live” on April 25. “Let’s go, Most Dope versus Taylor Gang. It’s on,” Mac responded all smiles, pumping up his rap crew. Wiz and company get plenty competitive on the road. Fans got a taste of the fun in Khalifa’s second “Taylor Gang” video , which he released in September. The Bill Paladino-directed clip is composed of concert footage from Wiz’s 2011 Rolling Papers Tour. In addition to onstage shots, there are plenty of clips of team T.G.O.D. playing pranks and shooting Super Soaker water guns. “We play basketball, water fights, we ride bikes,” Wiz said of the Taylors’ backstage antics. “We’re gonna climb mountains on bikes.” Last year, Wiz and Mac went out on the Green Carpet Tour , but their respective careers have grown exponentially since then and anticipation for their latest run is building. Mac is particularly excited. “We should do team building.
