Kristen Stewart Wants ‘Freaky’ Co-Stars For ‘Cali’

KStew wants to ‘get together really weird, freaky actor people’ for the Nick Cassavetes-directed film, her first producer credit. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Kristen Stewart Photo: MTV News Kristen Stewart might be the light in the darkness of “Snow White and the Huntsman,” but in her next film, “Cali,” Stewart is fully embracing the unsavory. The Nick Cassavetes-directed flick is expected to shoot this summer and, from the looks of it, it exists in a world that couldn’t be farther from the fairytale world of “Snow White.” “Hopefully after all of this we can go and we can do it in the summer, like lock ourselves away for a few weeks in the Valley [in L.A.] in a little production office and get together really weird, freaky actor people,” she told MTV News. “It’s filled with like the coolest characters.” The film centers on Mya (Stewart) and Chris, a couple from San Fernando Valley who sell a fake snuff film and disappear with the money. But Mya, who’s thought to be dead, must head back to Cali years later to save the younger sister she left behind. When she and Chris return, they’re faced with an array of characters, including “angry former business partners, homicidal porn stars, stoner vet techs [and] an unstoppable killing machine in a cowboy hat.” Michael Diliberti (“30 Minutes or Less”) wrote the script. “I’m from the Valley. It’s been a while since we captured that world and it’s super extreme, everything about it. I think it’s like, it’s extremely violent, it’s extremely funny, extremely emotional,” she explained about the film, which will be Stewart’s first producer credit. “But all very kind of, not hard to watch, but real.” Until she gets real in “Cali,” KStew will close the “Twilight” chapter of her career when “Breaking Dawn – Part 2” opens this November. She’s expected to hit up the Cannes Film Festival to premiere “On the Road,” in which she’ll showing another real side of herself when she appears nude . “I wasn’t scared, honestly,” Stewart told MTV News of the sex scenes, including a m

Kristen Stewart Amused By ‘Snow White’ Co-Star Charlize Theron

‘I love the effect she has on people,’ KStew tells MTV News. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Charlize Theron in “Snow White and the Huntsman” Photo: Universal Despite their obvious differences both onscreen and off, Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron have formed a bond during the filming of “Snow White and the Huntsman” and even more so during the current press tour in support of the film. When MTV News caught up with Stewart recently, we asked her to compare the familiar scenario of doing interviews with her longtime “Twilight” co-stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner versus her new castmate, the lovely Ms. Theron. “When Rob, Taylor and I do interviews together, they usually don’t actually ask us anything. We just get to hang out and people like to watch that,” Stewart said with a laugh. “It’s fine, because I like hanging out with those guys, but it is weird. With Charlize, it’s been great, because we’re so proud of the movie and we actually only worked together for three days, so we got to know each other probably more or at least on a certain level during press, and it’s been nice. It’s been fun.” Stewart said she especially admires Theron’s ability to light up a room with her energy and humor. “Some people intimidate you. Some people’s energy is so big you feel like you don’t fit in the room, but with her, I really appreciate how different we are. I love the effect she has on people,” Stewart said. “I find it hilarious. I love watching it happen. I do not have that. Maybe I have something else, but it’s definitely not as visceral. Also, she’s really hilarious,” she added, noting that the Oscar winner uses the more colorful swear words with particular aplomb. “[She] puts me to shame, to be honest,” Stewart said. Kristen Stewart’s Last Day On ‘Breaking Dawn’ Set Was ‘Ridiculous’

‘It was literally perfect,’ the actress deadpans about stepping on a rusty nail on her final day. By Fallon Prinzivalli, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Kristen Stewart in “Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 2” Photo: Summit This fall’s final installment of “The Twilight Saga” will leave fans feeling bitter-sweet. While excitement bubbles with the anticipation of seeing ” Breaking Dawn – Part 2 ” finally grace the big screen, it wavers a bit with the realization that the cast has put away their golden contacts for good. When MTV News caught up with Kristen Stewart , she told us what her last moments on set were like after filming “Breaking Dawn” reshoots. Keeping true to KStew’s honest nature, it wasn’t filled with teary-eyed goodbyes or a final empowering line from the script. Instead, she injured herself. “The very last thing I did was step on a rusty nail,” she said, “before a big promotional tour, running barefoot through fake woods.” That’s pretty typical Stewart behavior if you ask us. “I know! It was literally perfect,” she continued. “I was like, ‘I need to do this on a ‘Twilight’ set before I had to go wear heels in front of the entire world and have people go, ‘She’s just ridiculous with the heel situation.’ It’s like, ‘No, I promise you I actually hurt myself again!’ ” The filming for both parts of “Breaking Dawn” wrapped back in April 2011, but director Bill Condon revealed reshoots were in store for April 2012. On the film’s official Facebook page he wrote, “Rob [Pattinson] and Kristen will be there too, to pop in those gold contacts one last time.” But with the rest of the cast absent and the glitzy wrap parties over, Stewart said the final filming felt a bit anticlimactic. “I also wasn’t there on the very last day that Bill finished. I think he had a few pick up shots. When they wrapped me and Rob — you know, people clap for the actors when they wrap because they wrap before everyone else — it felt so ridiculous. We were like, ‘Why are you guys clapping right now? Yeah, good on you, too.’ ” she said as she began clapping and mimicking the confused look on her and Rob’s faces. “I came back to set to do the same for Bill,” she continued, “and he was like, ‘I have to come back tomorrow to shoot, like, Volturi feet running through snow.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, damn, bye.’ ” Check out everything we’ve got on “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com . ‘Twilight’ Fans Want Kristen Stewart’s Bodyguard To Protect Them

‘People now refer to Kristen Stewart’s bodyguard as ‘HBG,’ ‘ co-creator of ‘Kristen Stewart’s Hot Bodyguard’ Facebook page says. By Kara Warner Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” Photo: Summit Entertainment Full disclosure about my love for “Twilight”: I don’t so much love the books and movies as much as I completely and totally adore the franchise’s loyal, enthusiastic, entertaining fans. Really it’s their passion and dedication that keeps me interested in the whole thing as we inch closer and closer to the release of the final film, “Breaking Dawn – Part 2.” That’s why I’ve decided to dedicate this week’s “Twilight” Tuesday to one of the many groups of fans with whom I’ve become acquainted with over the last few years, Kristen Stewart’s Hot Bodyguard , more specifically, the three lovely ladies who birthed the creative and entertaining concept: Lynsey Jacob, Sarah Morrill and Jennifer Kelley. “Kristen Stewart’s Hot Bodyguard” is a Facebook group dedicated to, you guessed it, Kristen Stewart ‘s hot bodyguard. The origin of their popular group (3,000 members and growing!) can be traced to first glimpses of said bodyguard during the “Eclipse” press tour, followed by an in-person encounter at Stewart’s NYC promotion for “Welcome to the Rileys,” and then an excellent bit of brainstorming during a walk to the subway that begot the term “HBG” (Hot Bodyguard) and the Facebook page. Since then, the ladies have kept close tabs on their man via photos, fellow fans and making the occasional trip to a major event. (I was lucky enough to meet Jacob, Morrill and Kelley at such an event, last year’s “Breaking Dawn – Part 1” premiere. “The goal is always to get a wave,” Jacob told MTV News of the most memorable aspects of their HBG sightings. “It’s exciting. Another one that always cracks me up is watching all of the tweets about HBG when there’s an event going on. When he wasn’t at the Kids’ Choice Awards, people were freaking out. And these tweets are from around the world! Half the time it’s in another language.” “I actually really enjoy making graphics and fun little [themed] pictures for the page,” Morrill added. “I also designed the shirts that we made for the ‘Breaking Dawn’ premiere last year and have already started working on some ideas for this year’s shirts and other swag. Other than that, it’s always cool to see how excited the fans get when we post new pictures or videos of HBG, especially because I’m just as excited to see them as they are! We will be representing Team HBG to its fullest at the ‘Breaking Dawn -Part 2’ premiere in L.A. in November and are excited to meet new fans and see some old ones from the premiere last year.” One thing to point out about these ladies is that they don’t take themselves too seriously. Yes, they are dedicated fans, but they also just want to continue to have fun with the concept. “When Stephenie Meyer grabbed a hold of our HBG heads on a stick and took photos with them, that was so cool,” Jacobs recalled of the author embracing their “fan art” at last year’s premiere. “We were always worried that people would think we were crazy instead of just creative fans, but overall, the page and the whole concept has been really well-received.” “My dream for the group is for it to continue for as long as possible, maybe even until a gray-haired HBG is beating away the paparazzi with his cane in order to protect Kristen,” Morrill joked. “Truthfully, when we started this page a year and half ago, we never could have imagined what it would become. People around the world now refer to Kristen Stewart’s bodyguard as “HBG.” We did that. Stephenie Meyer knows who we are. Kristen mentioned our page in an article for British GQ last year. The awesome folks at MTV think we’re cool. It really doesn’t get much better than that! The only thing I could imagine that would put a cherry on top of this entire experience is to one day be able to change the group’s profile picture to one of the three of us with Kristen and HBG.” Check out everything we’ve got on “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com . Kristen Stewart: My Life is So Boring!

Kristen Stewart is an A-list movie star who has two blockbusters on the way in 2012: Snow White and the Huntsman , and Breaking Dawn Part 2 . But that doesn’t mean the actress finds her life especially exciting. “I didn’t go to f-cking school, I feel I would have had a bit something extra if I had,” she tells the latest issue of Elle . “Maybe because my life is so f-cking perfect, when I see the other side of life, it just seems like, almost like I want… “You can learn so much from bad things. I feel boring. I feel like, Why is everything so easy for me? I can’t wait for something crazy to f-cking happen to me. Just life. I want someone to f-ck me over! Do you know what I mean?” Well… no. Not exactly. We don’t wake up next to Robert Pattinson every morning. Among other topics touched on by Kristen in the interview: Her top books : “East of Eden is my favorite, it’s big, and then Cannery Row. I’ve read them all. Have you ever read Lie Down In Darkness? I want to play Peyton more than anything I can possibly taste or touch in my life. I want to play her so bad.” On riding horses as Snow White : “I hated it. I didn’t take to the whole mentality of f-cking ordering that thing around – ‘Go now!’ You have to be an asshole, basically. Not to say that horse people are assholes to their horses. But you have to basically tell that thing who’s boss, and I didn’t want to do that. I was like, ‘No, do your thing. I don’t even want to be up here.'” Wearing contact lenses for The Twilight Saga : “It’s like I always have sunglasses on – soulless, googly-eyed sunglasses. You can’t feel your eyeballs. They ruined me.”

‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Fans Cast Lead Roles At E L James’ Book Signing

From Ryan Reynolds to Alexis Bledel, book’s fans tell MTV News who they think should play the famous S&M couple in movie version. By Fallon Prinzivalli E.L. James at the “50 Shades Of Grey” Q&A in New York City Photo: Getty Images NEW YORK — Film adaptations of beloved novels never cease to cause frenzy among fans as to which actors deserve which roles. We saw it with “Twilight” and, more recently, with “The Hunger Games.” And E L James’ popular book “Fifty Shades of Grey” is no different. When the author made her way into New York’s Union Square for a book signing at Barnes & Noble, MTV News was on the scene to witness readers avidly campaigning for who they’d like to see land the lead roles. “Personally, I want Christian Bale to play Christian Grey because of his experience with ‘American Psycho,’ ” one fan told us. “I feel like he could be perfect. Some people think he’s too old, but this is Hollywood — we could fix that. You know, we can give him some laser, minimize some fine lines, he’s good to go. He’s the one. I want that one.” The rights to the New York Times best-seller were optioned by Universal Pictures and Focus Features back in March, which is when casting rumors began to swirl. The interest has yet to die down as both Ian Somerhalder and Alexander Skarsg
