Are you familiar with the DaddyOFive Youtube account and all of the insane drama surrounding it? If not, then sit back and prepare to be infuriated. DaddyOFive is a YouTube account belonging to Mike and Heather Martin, a Maryland couple who enjoys pranking their five children. Which sounds fine, right? Some good old-fashioned family fun , readily available for us to enjoy. But if you watch the videos — Mike’s deleted them all from his account, but other users have reposted them — you’ll see that the kids are not having fun. Far from it. For an example of the kind of people we’re talking about here, check out this video in which Heather decides to “prank” nine-year-old Cody by spilling disappearing ink all over some carpet. The idea is that she’ll blame Cody for the spill, freak him out a little, then reveal that it’s all a joke. But the execution … it’s actually pretty hard to watch. DaddyOFive Parents Prank Kids with Disappearing Ink She and Mike scream and curse at poor Cody and one of their other sons for four straight minutes, so much that the boys are left hysterical before learning that it was all meant to be a joke. Pretty twisted joke, really. In other videos, Mike destroys Cody’s X-Box with a sledgehammer as the boy cries, he pushes Cody down, and he follows Cody around with a camera as the poor little boy screams and begs him to leave him alone. In recent weeks, people have started paying a lot of attention to the family, even going so far as to create an online petition urging Maryland authorities to investigate Mike and Heather for child abuse. When the controversy first began, the Martins shrugged it off, making a since-deleted video about it all in which Mike said “This is how we run our house. This is our family.” Heather added that they’ve already been investigated for child abuse because of their YouTube channel, but nothing came of it. But once they saw that the outrage wasn’t going away, they changed their tune a bit, releasing a tearful public apology for their behavior. “This has been the absolute worst week of our life,” Heather says in the video, “and we realized that we have made some terrible parenting decisions.” It’s a little alarming that they made all these videos, that they were able to laugh as their kids screamed and cried, and that they’re just now realizing how terrible they are, but OK. They explained that when their videos started getting views, they decided to get crazier and crazier with their pranks to get more and more viewers. And though they seem to regret the things they’ve done to the kids (or at least like they’re willing to admit they’re wrong to save face), it’s too little, too late. On Friday, Rose Hall, the biological mother of Cody and 12-year-old Emma, received emergency custody of the two children. “They’re doing good,” Rose, who lost custody of the kids in 2014 after Mike and Heather allegedly forged her signature on some custody paperwork, said in a statement. “They’re getting back to their playful selves.” She added that it’s “very heartbreaking and disturbing to see my kids abused.” It’s unclear at this point how long she’ll keep custody, but the Martins are currently being investigated for any possible crimes related to their videos. If you’ve lived your life up to this point gloriously unaware of the human mysterious mattress stain that is Martin Shkreli, then you may not want to read any further. There was a time when Shkreli (aka Shkreli-Shkrel, aka F–kface) terrorized social media with heteretofore unknown levels of douchery. However, after years of using his ill-gotten fame to harass female journalists and pick fights with members of the Wu Tang Clan , the pharmaceutical CEO-turned-supervillain was recently forced to retreat back under from the bridge from whence he came. Shkreli was banned from Twitter recently after bullying a Teen Vogue writer, but he’s clearly devoted his newfound free time to finding new and interesting ways to make life worse for as many people as possible. You see, one of Marty’s favorite activities is messing with hip hop fans and famous rappers, the latter group, of course, being commonly known as a meek and mild-mannered lot, unlikely to do anything but cower in the face of opposition from a 34-year-old trust fund baby. After his beef with Wu Tang, Shkreli butted heads with Lil Wayne , attracting the rapper’s attention by somehow pirating his unreleased Carter V album and releasing portions of it online without consent. Now, Shkreli has apparently decided that he’ll continue antagonizing Wayne and try to piss off the hottest rapper on the planet right now for good measure. Despite stern legal warnings from Team Weezy, Shkreli has released yet another track from Tha Carter V , this one featuring a verse from Kendrick Lamar. TMZ has the stolen audio , which doesn’t sound all that great with Shkreli shrieking over the track like some prep school DJ Khaled who was recently the recipient of a traumatic wedgie. No word on what sort of legal consequences might be in play, but considering Shkreli is already facing jail time on securities fraud charges, he’s really playing with fire. Of course, getting sued would probably be a best-case scenario for Shkreli. If this little stunt goes viral, Kung-Fu Kenny might put lil Marty in a spiral. If you don’t get that reference go listen to Kendrick’s Damn in its entirety. Just don’t be like Shkreli and pirate it. In fact, don’t be like Shkreli in any aspect of your life. Bam! Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole have made it official: They had a bear of a time coming up with a name for their brand new baby. And mean this literally, based on confirmation from the One Direction singer that he and his gorgeous girlfriend have, indeed, decided to call their first child… … BEAR ! Yes, the name of Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole’s son is Bear Payne. We’re guessing they decided on this moniker after one of the stars said he or she had a pain so terrible that he or she could hardly bear it. Either that, or Liam and Cheryl are very big fans of Alicia Silverstone and Kate Winslet, both of whom actually also named their children Bear. The mostly private couple welcomed Bear (LOL!) into the world on March 22, with Cole sharing the following precious photo of daddy and son on her Instagram page soon after. Wrote Payne upon becoming a first-time father: “My close friends and family know there are very few times when I’m left speechless… wow! ‘I’m incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it’s a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favourite memory I have so far.” Added Payne of Cole: “I’m completely in awe of his incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she’s really made my dreams come true.” Payne also said at the time that he and Cole had not come up with a name yet, although the precious bundle of joy was “already capturing hearts including mine. I feel very blessed.” The Daily Mail first published a report on Tuesday that claimed the artist and the former X-Factor host had decided to go with Bear as the first name for their son. And then Payne came forward and corroborated this report. “Liam and Cheryl couldn’t decide on a name for ages and kept toing and froing between options,” wrote the newspaper, adding: “But they both loved Bear and settled on it a few days ago. Despite the sleepless nights, the couple are completely smitten with little Bear.” Upon reading this article, TV’s adventurer Bear Grylls tweeted at Liam, writing the following: “Great choice! According to an earlier report, Khloe Kardashian has not spoken to Caitlyn Jenner in years . And now we may know why: Caitlyn believes Khloe’s father is a cold-blooded murderer!!! No, not Robert Kardashian. We speak, of course, about O.J. Simpson, who many some at least one tabloid pretends to believe is Khloe’s biological father . In an interview to promote her new controversial memoir, Jenner told Andy Cohen during a Sirius XM Town Hall this week that she was always convinced Simpson had killed taken the lives of his ex-wife and Ronald Goldman. He said that Kris Jenner, to whom he was married at the time of the infamous 1994 trial, felt the same way. “I knew he did it,” Caitlyn explained to Cohen, adding: “There was three people at the crime scene. DNA evidence, three people at the crime scene. Pick a murderer. How hard is that?” Pretty hard, as it turned out, considering Simpson was found not guilty in what has been deemed The Trial of the Century. O.J. was found culpable in a civil lawsuit and is currently serving a 33-year sentence in Nevada, where he was convicted in 2008 of multiple felonies, including criminal conspiracy, kidnapping and robbery. Caitlyn makes note of the trial in “The Secrets of My Life,” which hit bookstores on Tuesday. “In the book, I talk about only one time after the second trial and the whole thing was over, Robert just said to me that, ‘I would have been okay if they got him in the first trial,’” says Jenner, revealing that Khloe’s actual father believed his good friend was a killer. Added Jenner in this chat with Cohen: “That’s the only thing he ever said and that’s about the closest he’ll ever come, never saying he actually did it. “When Robert, in the first trial, he was now the guy who helped him get away with murder and he was destroyed by everyone. And I felt terribly sorry for him.” Caitlyn has been on quite the press tour of late in order to move copies of her biography. She’s opened up about a number of personal issues, such as how she felt very weird making love to Kris during their marriage because she knew something was off about her identity. She says Kris was well aware that she liked to cross-dress and has transgender tendencies. Obviously, the Jenner side calls more, but they all have their own lives.” Still, Jenner has no regrets. This is her authentic self. “[I’m] happy, peaceful… I have peace in my soul,” she concludes. “All of that confusion has left me.”
When authorities found Aaron Hernandez dead inside his prison cell at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Lancaster, Massachusetts, it initially seemed like an open-and-shut case. Hernandez had recently been acquitted of double homicide, but was still facing life behind bars for the 2013 murder of Odin Lloyd. Sources close to Hernandez claimed that though the outcome of the trial was likely to have little impact on his time behind bars, it was important to the former New England Patriots tight end to ensure that he was cleared of any connection to the murders of Safiro Furtado and Daniel de Abreu. Having lived to see himself cleared of charges, the story went, Hernandez saw no reason to go on living. But as more information about Hernandez’s final days public, a different picture began to emerge. For one thing, his attorneys reported that his acquittal in the Furtado-Abreu murders gave Hernandez hope that his appeal of the Odin charges would be successful. However, there were also rumors that Hernandez was experiencing profound emotional duress due to the nature of his life behind bars. Prison sources indicated that the 27-year-old had become distraught in recent weeks due to an alleged romantic relationship with a fellow inmate named Kyle Kennedy . Insiders say Hernandez requested that he and Kennedy be permitted to share a cell, and became distraught when his request was denied. Attorneys for Hernandez have denied that their client was romantically involved, but Kennedy spent more than a week on suicide watch after Hernandez’s death. Today, Kennedy spoke out for the first time about Hernandez’s death, and while he did not confirm that he and the former NFL standout were romantically involved, Kennedy did make it clear that they shared a close emotional bond: “I miss my friend Aaron Hernandez,” said the 22-year-old in a statement issued to Radar Online. “I’d like to send my condolences to his fiancée, his mother and his daughter.” Kennedy, who is no longer on suicide watch, is serving a sentence for armed robbery. What we mean is this: Peter Gunz may be the father of Kailyn Lowry’s baby. We’ll give you a few moments to sit down, gather yourself, place your eyeballs back into their sockets, remove your jaw from the floor and resist the urge to vomit for several hours… Okay? All set now? Everybody? We cool? Good. Let’s delve into the origin of this rumor, shall we? Earlier this week, Lowry shared a new photo of herself on Instagram , giving followers a glimpse at her growing baby bump and raising their suspicion via a caption that read as follows: “Happy bump day from Baby Lo & me.” Yes, Baby Lo and her. Naturally, this has caused many to believe that the 24-year-old Teen Mom 2 star was making a reference to Chris Lopez . He being the leading contender for the title of Kailyn Lowry’s Third and Possibly, But, Let’s Face It, Probably Not Final Baby Daddy. Ever since announcing she was expecting back in February, Lowry has remained mum on the topic of who got her pregnant. She has insisted all along, however, that she chose this path for her life and that the man’s name will be revealed when she’s prepared for the world to find out. Not that this prevented an anxious Internet community from speculating … these are people who watch Teen Mom 2 after all. Because Lowry has now referred to the child as “Baby Lo” on multiple occasions, most assume that she’s subtly admitting the father is Lopez. HOWEVER, The Shade Room has taken note of one comment that a certain individual left in response to the Kailyn baby bump photo above. The comment was left by the one and only Peter Gunz. Yes, he of Love & Hip Hop fame, and the music producer’s message to the pregnant MTV star reads simply, “Calling U.” That’s it. That’s all it says. You can see it for yourself: Why would Peter Gunz be telling Kailyn Lowry that he’s about to call her, specifically in response to a picture of her with a child in her womb? We have no idea. But Gunz has many kids. Like, many, many, MANY kids. He actually has 10 kids in total. Double f–king digits. They are: Cory Whitney Brandon Kennedi Phoenix Jamison Kaz Cori Gunner Bronx The fertile reality star has also gone back and forth for years between Tara Wallace and Amina Buddafly, so we know he has questionable taste in women. Does this prove he’s Lowry’s baby daddy? Of course not. Not by a long shot. But it does mean that the concept of Gunz impregnating a woman out of wedlock is not exactly foreign. Par for the course honestly. Considering what we know about Gunz and Lowry, would you really be all that stunned if this rumor turned into reality? Still, as you’ll see below, it is widely believed that one of Lopez, Tyler Hill or JC Cueva is the man whose sperm fertilized Kailyn’s egg. Lowry has hinted of late that she’ll be raising this third kid alone, even saying her unnamed baby daddy is toxic and pretty terrible at the moment. (More evidence that points to Gunz!) No matter what you think of Kailyn and her life choices, as seen on Teen Mom 2 or expressed via social media, think of the baby here. The poor child. All kids deserve to be raised by two stable parents. In other words: Step up, Peter Gunz! Take responsibility and do the right thing, man! Sheesh.
Earlier this week, fans of The Bachelor were shocked to learn that former series star Chris Soules was arrested after fleeing the scene of a fatal hit-and-run accident. The accident claimed the life of a 66-year-old farmer Kenneth Mosher, and Soules is reportedly particularly distraught, as he’s known the victim and his family for much of his life. Soules has been released on $10,000 bond after spending one night in custody, but with each new detail that emerges it looks more and more like the 35-year-old will eventually wind up back behind bars. Today, Radar Online is reporting that authorities in Soules’ Iowa hometown are investigating the accident as a criminal matter and have not ruled out the possibility that alcohol was a factor in the crash. The site reports that Soules is wearing an ankle bracelet these days, as the judge in his case has deemed him to be a flight risk. Law enforcement officials have been tight-lipped, but Buchanan County Sheriff Bill Wolfgram confirms that the investigation into Soules behavior leading up to the accident is ongoing: “We’re continuing with Iowa State Patrol to investigate the accident by recreating the crash,” Wolfgram tells Radar. “At this time that’s basically where we’re at.” An insider close to the case confirmed to Us Weekly today that Soules has been wearing a monitoring device ever since his release: “Chris has a location-monitoring device on his leg and had to surrender his passport,” says the insider. “Chris hasn’t left his house yet. His family has been by his side.” Unfortunately for Soules, even if he’s cleared of driving recklessly or under the influence, he might still face criminal charges due to his behavior immediately following the accident. Attorneys for Soules say he did not comprehend the severity of the accident at the time fled fled the scene. However, there have been reports that Soules not only checked Mosher’s pulse, but had a friend pick him up following the crash so that he would be able to ditch his vehicle. Sherriff Wolfgram says both of those claims are currently under investigation. We’ll have further updates on this story as more information becomes available.
