Instead, Kim and Kanye may try to sell the property for a significant profit. And if they succeed? They may do so again and again, going all HGTV on us by getting into the real estate flipping game. A controversial student ad campaign supporting public breastfeeding legislation in Texas is causing a stir online this week, and it’s not hard to see why. The campaign, called “When Nurture Calls,” and its provocative images of women nursing babies in public toilet stalls make its point, and then some. “Private dining. Would you eat here?” asks the text of one poster. Others ask, “Bon appétit. Would you eat here?” and “Table for two. Would you eat here?” The much-talked-about advertisements are the work of University of North Texas graphic-art majors Johnathan Wenske and Kris Haro, both juniors. They decided to take on the polarizing issue of public breastfeeding for an assignment that required students to design a campaign for a social issue or product. The viral images generated wide support, but also backlash. Some critics have labeled public nursing “trashy” and criticized women for bearing “sex objects.” Some comments personally attacked photo model Monica Young (who posed with her baby) for being everything from indecent to too young to be a mom. That prompted her to post a response: “I get more sexual comments than anything. So yeah, it’d be pretty great not to have any nasty comments made while I’m feeding my child, with or without a cover.” “Whether I was a too young or not, what does it matter what age I am? A Teen Mom can breastfeed, too. I’m 21, so yeah I’m pretty young,” she adds. “Younger mothers are less likely to breastfeed. So hopefully it will encourage younger mothers to breastfeed, breastfeed in public and to not be ashamed to do it.” Breastfeeding on Instagram Pictures 1. It would have essentially protected moms who nurse in public from being stopped or harassed. The bill controversially died in last year’s legislative session. Public breastfeeding laws exist in most states, but with the exception of a few, including Connecticut, Vermont, and New Jersey, they have no enforcement provisions. This means various authorities are not accountable for their actions against breastfeeding moms, which can make all the difference in many situations. People divided on the issue tend to spar from opposite ends of the spectrum, which supporters believing that nursing is natural and should be welcome anywhere. Certain critics, meanwhile, are steadfast that because there is an exposed breast involved, nursing is a crude action best relegated to private spaces. What do you think? One Southampton native tells TMZ that folks are concerned the Kardashians will “attract trash and ruin Southampton,” so these residents want them to go to East Hampton instead, which is supposedly more “new money.” But apparently East Hampton doesn’t want to be associated with the Kardashians either. It remains unclear whether or not Kim Kardashian cheated on Kanye West with Chris Brown back in 2012. But multiple outlets now confirm it is clear the reality star and the rapper are not yet married, no matter what Life & Style wants you to believe. That tabloid alleges that Kim and Kanye got their marriage license last week in California and quietly exchanged vows in New York City ahead of tonight’s Met Gala there. This claim does back up TMZ’s confirmed report that Kimye has obtained and license and plans on getting legally wed in the States prior to the big ceremony in Paris in a few weeks, only to make the paperwork easier. But Gossip Gop and People Magazine have both shot down talk that Kardashian and West are already husband and wife. It simply isn’t true. While no venue has been announced, and while neither side of the famous couple has come out and said it yet, all expectations remain that Kim and Kanye will tie the knot on May 24 in Paris. Dove has received universal acclaim for some recent advertisements. There was this Real Beauty sketches spot and, of course, this reunion of a military man with his family . But the company has finally struck out, at least as far as New Jersey residents are concerned. Following a number of complaints on its Facebook page, Dove has pulled it Armpit of America billboard, which joked about the Garden State’s nickname and read: “Dear New Jersey, When People call you ‘The Armpit of America,’ take it as a compliment. Sincerely, Dove.” Unique? Yes. Funny? To most people. Offensive? Heck yes, according to folks in Jersey. “Memo to Dove advertising (aka idiots): good luck selling in NJ. I will not buy a Dove product again,” wrote one Facebook user, expressing a sentiment held by many. Explained Matthew McCarthy – senior marketing director of antiperspirants and deodorants at Unilever, the company that owns Dove – of the campaign: “We did not wish to cause any misunderstanding and apologize for any offense. Our intent with the ‘Dear New Jersey’ billboard, which was one of many ads for our campaign, was to call attention to the fact that armpits can and should be considered beautiful and ask women everywhere to accept this as something that is okay. “As a New Jersey-based company and longtime supporter of many charitable organizations in the state, we will instead be donating this billboard space to one of them.” Sounds fair to us.
