The Twilight Saga to Continue Past Breaking Dawn?!?

Might November 16, 2012 not mark the beginning of the end for The Twilight Saga after all? While we’re still nearly a year away from the release of Breaking Dawn Part 2 , Lionsgate President Jon Feltheimer is already looking at life beyond the final installment of Stephenie Meyer’s novels – and he has an idea for how to milk the franchise for all it can produce. “It’s hard for me to imagine a movie that does $700 million-plus doesn’t have ongoing value,” Felthemier said of the possibility that another film could be made. “It’s an amazing franchise that they have done a great job of maintaining with absolutely no deterioration.” But the source material is tapped out. How could the studio back another Edward and Bella-based saga? “Maybe go back into some of the back stories,” Feltheimer suggested. “There’s been talk of shorts and different new media, too.” Only time, and screaming Twihard reaction, will tell. But what do you think of this plan? Do you want to see Twilight extended beyond Breaking Dawn ?

Lindsay Lohan to Star in Elizabeth Taylor Biopic?

Lindsay Lohan is in “early talks” to play Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime movie “Elizabeth & Richard: A Love Story,” according to Entertainment Weekly . Who better to play the a glamorous Hollywood icon than a train wreck frequent jailbird Playboy model who hasn’t had a notable acting role in years! The film will focus on Taylor’s tumultuous relationship with two-time husband Richard Burton. So how on Earth did they think of Lohan for the part? Like Lohan, Taylor began her career at a young age, growing up in the spotlight. Some say she made plenty of missteps along her road to icon status. Lohan also posed for Marilyn Monroe-inspired Playboy photos which allegedly racked up record sales for the mag, resurrecting her career somewhat. Maybe a Liz T. photo spread is next? Eh, maybe not. Paranormal Activity 4: Coming Soon!

Movie fans should prepare to be scared again in 2012. Paramount announced yesterday that it had green lighted Paranormal Activity 4 , an approval that should not come as a shock, considering the wild success of this franchise’s third installment. It earned over $200 million worldwide after opening in late October. Paranormal Activity 3 Trailer The first Paranormal Activity cost a measly $15,00 to produce, opened in September 2009 and went on to garner $193 million. The price on the second rose to $3 million to produce, but was easily justified by its $177.5 box office haul. No release date has been set for Paranormal Activity 4 , but expect it to hit theaters some time in the fall again.
