Amber Portwood walked off set during the filming of the Teen Mom reunion that aired Tuesday night, but not for the reasons many expected. Surprisingly, the troubled star’s meltdown had nothing to do with her legal drama, her controversial relationship with Gary Shirley or her suicide attempt. It was the memory of her sister. Still dealing with the hurt of losing her baby sister to SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), Amber got emotional when Dr. Drew brought up the topic. It’s a sad subject, but do you think everything else going on in her life contributed to that reaction? Or was she just caught off guard by the question? Alberto Alvarez, Michael Jackson Bodyguard, to Testify Against Dr. Conrad Murray

Alberto Alvarez just wants the truth to be heard. The bodyguard summoned to Michael Jackson’s bedroom by Dr. Conrad Murray as the King of Pop’s body lay lifeless on his bed will testify in court today . Alvarez, who was with Murray before paramedics arrived, was allegedly asked by the physician to put Propofol bottles into sacks before he called 911. Whether that happened and what Alvarez’s reaction was will come out shortly. “Alberto has maintained his silence throughout the investigation. He had numerous offers to sell his story, but he never did,” a source close to the case says. “Alberto has maintained his loyalty to Michael Jackson and his children, even after he died. Alberto is very, very loyal, and he will get up on the stand and finally be able to tell the world what really happened on that day.” “Really, Alberto just wants to tell the truth.” The Dr. Conrad Murray trial got underway this week with the stunning claim by the defense that Jackson himself injected himself with the fatal dose. Michael Amir Williams Recalls "Panicked" Conrad Murray Voicemail Regarding Michael Jackson

In day two of the Dr. Conrad Murray manslaughter trial, Michael Jackson’s personal assistant Michael Amir Williams took the stand to describe panicked voicemail Murray left on Williams’ phone the day Jackson died. The key points from Williams’ testimony : Jackson’s final rehearsal, on June 24, 2009, was “amazing.” The following day, Williams received a panicked message from Murray at 12:13 p.m. saying, “call me right away.” Murray told Williams that MJ had some sort of “bad reaction” and to “get somebody here immediately.” Williams arrived to see MJ on a gurney and Murray “frantic.” After learning of Michael’s death, Murray asked Williams to take him to Jackson’s home to get “some cream Michael wouldn’t want the world to know about.” Williams and MJ’s director of security decided not to do this. It was “normal” to have oxygen tanks in MJ’s house. It’s unclear whether his testimony will help or hurt Murray’s controversial defense theory that Michael Jackson killed himself with a lethal dose of Propofol. T.I.: Still Imprisoned Because of Reality Show

Woe is T.I. Justifiably or not, the reality show the rapper was filming totally got him hauled back to prison. Officials believed he had people from the show on the bus that took him to his halfway house – a big no-no, according to official documents. If you’re not familiar with the story, here’s what went down: T.I. was released from prison August 31, under specific instructions to be transported to a halfway house to serve the remaining 30 days of his sentence. The rapper was/is serving 11 months for violating probation in his federal weapons case, after he was pulled over and police found drugs on him last fall. It was stipulated that he could ONLY travel with his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, and was not allowed to conduct business en route to the halfway house. But prison officials say T.I. also had his manager, along with two VH1 producers on board, chatting about his reality show as well as a book. Not kosher. The VH1 producers and T.I.’s manager have submitted letters claiming they were not conducting business on the road, but prison officials didn’t buy it. Officials were also livid about the rapper’s mode of transportation – a pimp ass tour bus ride – and claim that he did not disclose this prior to departing. However, new photos show him accompanied by a prison guard as he made his way to the bus that carried him and his entourage to the halfway house. T.I.’s legal team believes prison officials targeted T.I. when they picked him up at the halfway house and hauled him back to prison on baseless grounds. His attorneys believe prison officials have trumped up other reasons to justify sending T.I. back, such as who was on board and the reality show plans. Team T.I. claims he had a two-minute, casual conversation with the prison staff months before his release, and that’s when he said Tiny would be there. He never even considered who else might be there at the time, so his lawyers feel it’s absurd to hold him accountable for that now. Stay tuned …

Dr. Conrad Murray Jury Selection Underway; Everyone Aware of Michael Jackson Case

Jury selection officially got underway today in Los Angeles for the involuntary manslaughter trial of Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson’s personal physician. Not one person out of 160 was unfamiliar with the case. “We didn’t expect that you’ve been living under a rock for the last few years, or you’d made a pit stop here from Mars,” Judge Michael Pastor quipped. Pastor cautioned all the potential panelists that they were going to have to take care to avoid any outside information about the trial – especially online. So no reading entertainment news sites? We feel so hurt. They are also not allowed to post any messages on social media, send or read Tweets or Google the case. If they do, they could face jail time or fines. Pastor told prospective jurors that he has/had the option to have the panel sequestered throughout, but is “reiterating [his] faith” in the jurors by not doing so. Instead, the jury will be bused to the court from a secret location each morning, and escorted away every night. They won’t leave in between. Outside court, a lone supporter for Murray carried a sign reading: “I support Dr. Conrad Murray, an innocent man who must be exonerated.” Willie L. Hampton said he was a friend of Murray’s of three decades, said he shook hands with many Jackson fans and agreed to keep peace. Murray faces up to four years in prison for allegedly causing the death of his famous patient by overdose on the surgical anesthetic Propofol. His defense was dealt a blow when Pastor ruled MJ’s private life – including testimony from some doctors who treated him – was out of bounds . Dr. Conrad Murray Seeking Jury Sequestration, Protection From "Character Assassination"

Dr. Conrad Murray’s legal team believes sequestering the jury is the only way to ensure his fair trial in the Michael Jackson manslaughter case. Charged with involuntarily causing the King of Pop’s death, Murray wants the court protect him and the system from “character assassinations.” The name Nancy Grace has come up more than once from Murray’s lawyers, citing the case of Casey Anthony , who ended up walking in July. Dr. Conrad Murray ‘s lawyers say the only reason the Anthony jurors were unswayed by the media skewering of Anthony was because they were sequestered. According to documents, Grace and others engaged in “nonstop on-air abuse of not only the defendant, but the jurors and defense attorneys involved.” The legal docs claim , “There is reasonable expectation that Dr. Murray’s trial will be the most publicized in history,” and that of the several hundred jurors polled during jury selection, only one claimed not to have heard of the case. Jay Cutler does a mediocre job calling the shots on the football field. Off the gridiron, however, he was incredibly good at controlling Kristin Cavallari. The Bears quarterback smothering the former Hills star was one of the things that caused their relationship to unravel, according to a new report . A friend of Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler , who knew the couple and spent time with them socially, says he made things difficult for his fiancee. The two called off their engagement this weekend. Says the source of the now-former couple: “Jay Cutler was beyond controlling and didn’t really like Kristin to go out,” the friend says. “When she did go out, he would call all the time, demanding to know exactly where she was going and who she was with.” “He always made her choose between being with him and being friends with a lot of her girlfriends. I’m not surprised it didn’t last.” Cavallari and Cutler, 24 and 28 respectively, were first linked last summer. They had been planning a wedding for next spring, and Kristin is said to be “absolutely devastated” after the football star broke up with her.

Waka Flocka Flame: Popped For Pot Possession

Rapper Waka Flocka Flame was arrested on Saturday for marijuana possession by New York City police, but has since been released, according to reports. Waka was reportedly apprehended by NYPD in a parking lot outside the Coliseum Mall in the NYC borough. He later vented about this incident on Twitter: “I’m finna jump on my flight 2 Kc ……. sorry 2 da whole m town 4 not coming I had spend a nite n jail with no charge #onlybecauseirap,” he tweeted. Flocka later reassured his fans that he would keep things moving. “Can’t no 1 stop with GOD got planned 4me [know that],” he said. Flocka’s release means that both he and Gucci Mane remain free to promote their buzz-worthy collaboration album Ferrari Boyz , due out August 9. Melissa Molinaro Calls Out Kim Kardashian: Get a Life!

Melissa Molinaro looks very much like Kim Kardashian. This is no secret. Old Navy admitted as much after featuring the aspiring singer in a commercial a few months ago. But Kardashian apparently isn’t flattered by the doppelganger use, as she filed a $20 million lawsuit against the company last week, claiming the ad was an “unauthorized use of Kardashian’s name, likeness, identity and persona.” Now, Molinaro has responded – and basically told Kim to get a life. “We’re still talking about this?! It’s JULY this aired in February…some people have too much time on there [sic] hands,” Molinaro Tweeted, seeming to imply that Kardashian has nothing to do but whine and social network. “I’m blown away by all your support and blessed to have an amazing family & friends like you!” Melissa added. It should be noted: Kim did not mention Molinaro in the suit. She also has a line with rival retailer Sears in the works. The gloves – and, most likely, shirts – are about to come off, folks!

Is Tiger Woods Having Money Problems?

Is Tiger Woods, unthinkably, in financial trouble these days? That may be both exaggerating and oversimplifying it, but given a loss of endorsement deals, his recent divorce settlement, a hefty mortgage, and even a pay cut from Nike, life on Planet Tiger isn’t what it used to be . Forbes reports that Tiger recently signed a deal to hawk a heat rub in Japan. Although Woods was likely paid in the single-digit millions for the spot, it’s a far cry from his former campaigns for Pepsi, Gillette, and Accenture. Once king of the sports world, Tiger has suffered financially since late 2009 . After his personal life imploded, his endorsement list shrank and his marriage ended in a divorce settlement with Elin Nordegren worth $100 million-plus. But now he may actually be hurting for funds. At the very least, there are signs that the legend isn’t generating enough to comfortably cover his costs. Woods took out a $54.5 million mortgage on his home in Jupiter Island, Fla, last year. He is required to pay off the mortgage in full by January of 2016. That gives him a mere five and a half years to shed the debt at more than $10 million each year, which includes his $431,042 in annual property taxes. He’s left his old agency and even fired his caddy. He’s injured and unable to compete for prize money, with no victories since 2009. Things are not good. Silver lining: The Bank of Rachel Uchitel apparently returned a bunch of cash.
