Scooter Braun Skips Deposition to Avoid Justin Bieber Steroid Questions?

The Justin Bieber deposition has provided us with some of the funniest video clips in recent memory, so we were disappointed to learn today that Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun skipped his own sit-down with attorneys scheduled for today. TMZ reports that Braun bailed on the deposition in order to avoid being humiliated by the same hard-nosed lawyer that questioned Justin. Specifically, Scooter is concerned that lawyers for the photographer who was allegedly assaulted by Bieber’s bodyguard last year will ask Braun if he’s ever seen Justin use steroids. Reportedly fearing that video of his deposition would be leaked to TMZ (as it almost certainly would) Braun was a no-show for today’s proceedings, and he instead sent his lawyer, who delivered documents requesting a guarantee that the footage be kept under wraps.  Smart move from a smart guy. Braun and Bieber’s partnership dates back to 2006 when the then-unknown music producer and talent agent discovered the Canadian crooner on YouTube. Whether you love the Biebs or hate him, you’ve gotta give Braun props for recognizing a goldmine when he saw one. Even if it was an incredibly douchey goldmine with a penchant for egging its neighbors houses.  The lawsuit against Bieber’s bodyguard is unlikely to be settled any time soon, but hopefully in the meantime it’ll give us more humorous antics and maybe even some insight into this Bieber on roids rumor. Kim Kardashian Stages #ImpromptuPhotoShoot in Front of Flowers

Kanye West’s Mother’s Day gift to Kim Kardashian is getting plenty of use. First, North West got an up close look at the giant wall of flowers on her lawn. Then, Kylie Jenner showed off her stomach and inappropriately tried to seduce the camera while using this present as a backdrop. And now Kim Kardashian has staged what she labeled an “#ImpromptuPhotoShoot,” though it wasn’t so impromptu that she didn’t first change into a very nice/expensive dress for the occasion. “There’s a wall of roses in my backyard. What else am I supposed to do?!?” Kim wrote as a caption. She also said it was time to “stop and smell the roses.” Earlier in the week, Kardashian posted a different kind of shot online, taking a post-working selfie  and showing off her abs while continuing to send the wrong message to young fans around the world. Really, Kardashians, the goal in life is not to be as skinny as possible. Magic Johnson on Donald Sterling: Pray for Him…

Magic Johnson is taking the high road when it comes to Donald Sterling. In his interview with Anderson Cooper on CNN last night, Sterling did apologize for his recent racist rant, which was directed at girlfriend V. Stiviano and released as an audio recording a few weeks ago. But the 80-year old Clippers owner also went off on Magic for some reason, blasting the NBA legend for having AIDS and for doing nothing to help the African-American community. His words really needs to be heard to be believed: Donald Sterling Slams Magic Johnson In response, Johnson called in to TMZ this afternoon, denied talk that he’s trying to purchase the Clippers and said: “I’m a proud black man. I’m a leader in the black community and I take that role seriously.” Magic, of course, has famously moved movie theaters, Starbucks and other franchises into inner cities area, greatly boosting their economies and providing many new jobs for residents. Johnson added that Sterling has never officially apologized to him or to the African-American community and that he’s clearly trying to pit Jews against blacks… but it isn’t going to work. “It’s sad,” Magic concluded . “We just got to pray for him.” And hope we never, ever, ever need to hear another word out of his racist mouth again. The Walking Dead: First Season 5 Photo!

AMC is yet to announced a premiere date for  The Walking Dead Season 5 . But we know the highest-rated show on television will return with new episodes on October and now we also now that Rick Grimes will be a bloody mess on the premiere. That’s nothing new, of course, but AMC unveiled the following photo today. It’s a close-up of Andrew Lincoln’s character, keeping vigilant… and very badly in need of a shower. The Walking Dead – whose Season 4 finale in March brought in 15.7 million viewers, 10.2 million of whom were between the advertiser-friendly ages of  18 and 49 – is currently shooting in Georgia. Christian Serratos (Rosita), Alanna Masterson (Tara) and Andrew J. West (Gareth) have all been promoted to series regular status for Season 5 and former Wire star Seth Gilliam will be joining the cast as well. In need of a refresher prior to the October premiere? Kendall Jenner’s Topshop gown at the MET Gala  was a hit with fans and fashion critics alike, and now it seems the 18-year-old socialite may be representing the brand full-time. While Kendall’s Wikipedia page lists her career as “model,” her work up to this point has mainly consisted of Instagram selfies. It seems her vanity may have paid off though, as it’s rumored that Kendall’s pre-MET social media photos got the London-based label to take notice. Neither Kendall nor Topshop have confirmed the deal yet, but given the attention received by both the model and the brand solely on the strength of Kendall’s  ball night look, it’s not surprising to hear the label is seeking to strike up a partnership. In addition to posting a constant stream of selfies in which she rocks various looks, Kendall has been hanging with Anna Wintour and making certain that she’s seen at all the big industry events.  Clearly, Kendall has the Kardashian ambition. The desire to make a lot of money without doing any actual work is strong in this one! Kendall’s meteoric rise to the top of the fashion world raises one important question: have rumors that Kendall is dating Justin Bieber been planted by her team to drum up publicity? Bounce House Flies Away From Kids’ Birthday Party; Two Boys Seriously Injuried

A kids’ party nearly turned tragic on Monday in New York State as a strong gust of wind hurled an inflatable bounce house into the air with multiple children inside. Bounce House Flies Away with Kids Inside Two young boys were admitted to the hospital with serious injuries after falling 15 feet from the inflatable structure, which soared 50 feet into the air. The incident occurred outside an apartment complex when witnesses say a large gust of wind carried the structure and spun it around while it was lifted up. One of the boys fell on a parked car about 20 feet away while the other boy was reportedly thrown 30-40 feet from the original location of the bounce house. South Glens Falls, N.Y., police did not release the condition of the boys, but a neighbor told The Post-Star that the boy who fell on the car has a serious head injury. The other reportedly suffered two broken arms as a result of the fall. The 10-foot-by-10-foot bounce house was not enclosed at the top. We wish all the injured parties and their families the best …

Granted, they’re the same image – but Kardashian was apparently so proud of her post-gym look that she needed to share it multiple times with followers. “Just finished my morning workout,” Kim wrote as a simple caption to a selfie that features her toned abs and even a bit of under-boob. Beyonce and Jay Z: New On the Run Tour Dates Announced!

Jay Z and Beyonce may be making headlines for all of the wrong reasons these days, but it seems they’re attempting to quietly shift the public’s focus back onto their music. Solange Knowles’ attack on Jay Z has dominated the headlines for the past two days and while neither member of the hip hop power couple have commented on the controversy, Jay and Bey have released two new tour dates.  The (appropriately named) On the Run Tour will now include stops at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena and AT&T Park in San Francisco. Did the Carters schedule a stop at the site where Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian as a way of telling us their marriage is stronger than ever? Almost certainly not! But it’s fun to speculate! But while rumors continue to spread and Solange deletes Beyonce from her Instagram page , Queen Bey and King Hova have changed little about the stoic facade they present to the world. So buy tickets to their concert to hear them rap and sing graphic details about their sex life. Just don’t ask about their in-laws! Why did  Solange Knowles violently attack Jay Z inside an elevator of The Standard Hotel on the night of May 5? We may now have a partial answer. According to a People sources, Knowles was “provoked” by designer Rachel Roy earlier that evening, with Beyonce stepping in to tell Roy “not to talk to her sister.” Jay remained silent during that initial confrontation. Rachel Roy Fight to Blame for Solange Knowles assault? Roy has known the Knowles family for years and is actually the ex-wife of Jay Z’s former business partner, Damon Dash. She was also a guest over the weekend at Kim Kardashian’s bridal party . Mary Jo Eustace: Dean McDermott Is An Alcoholic Drug Addict!

Dean McDermott cheating on Tori Spelling may soon be much lower on the couple’s list of marital troubles.  According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, Dean’s ex-wife, Mary Jo Eustace,  accused McDermott of alcoholism, drug addiction and violent fits of anger  during their 2005 divorce proceedings. In sworn testimony, Eustace claimed McDermott’s anger problem was so bad that on their first date she witnessed him violently beating his dog for knocking over a garbage can.  Recalling the incident, Eustace claims, “Dean McDermott repeatedly and violently beat the dog with his fists and a rolled-up newspaper.” Probably would’ve been a deal-breaking moment for most women, but Eustace went on to marry McDermott and have a kid with him. Needless to say he wasn’t the greatest dad: According to Eustace, McDermott once missed a family event attended by her parents and their infant son because he “didn’t feel well.” Halfway through the gathering, however, McDermott walked into the room and tossed a bag of cocaine on a table. He tearfully confessed that he had a cocaine problem and had repeatedly used coke and gotten drunk while alone with his son. Eustace enrolled McDermott in a treatment program, but he began using again shortly after being released. When he divorced Eustace, McDermott made a point of assuring her that he was not under the influence of any drugs other than anti-depressants at the time of his decision. What a guy!
