Thankfully, the Hulk Hogan sex tape will not be coming to a living room near you. A rep for the wrestling legend confirms that a Florida court has granted Hogan’s request for a temporary restraining order that prevents Gawker Media from releasing footage from his bedroom encounter of a few years ago. That website has grossed out the Internet a few months ago by teasing Hogan’s videotaped banging of Heather Clem in 2006. Hogan sued Gawker for $100 in response. And while that lawsuit will likely be tied up for awhile, Judge Pamela Campbell of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County ruled heavily in Hogan’s favor Wednesday. She ordered Gawker to remove all sex tape clips from its website and return all full versions of the video of Hogan’s lawyers. The resignation of Rebecca Martinson from her Maryland sorority may have been less of a resignation and more of a directive by the chapter, sources say. The author of that hilariously, offensively, head-scratchingly insane sorority girl email left Delta Gamma this week amid the controversy she created. Sources close to the situation say Rebecca’s “resignation” came only after it was made clear that she could not stay, and would be booted imminently. “There was no way, just no way, they were letting her stay,” a UMD insider said of behind-the-scenes talks between DG sorority decision makers. Rebecca’s email rant to her Delta Gamma sisters – in which she unloaded on their alleged Greek Week activitiy shortcomings – leaked and went viral. She used CAPS LOCK a lot. She asked her pals is they are blind, dense and retarded. She called them f–gots. She threatened to “c–t punch” them. She said they were LITERALLY so F–KING BORING and AWKWARD and went on for an astonishingly long time in a borderline threatening tone. The sorority announced this week that Rebecca has resigned, posting a diplomatic statement on the web. But insiders say she had little choice. “She was forced out,” a source said. “They basically forced her to resign.” “It was made very clear by the sorority what she needed to do.” The sorority was in “don’t-blame-us mode” when Facebooking its announcement of Rebecca Martinson’s “resignation,” and wants this to blow over ASAP. Good luck with that? Perhaps the best part of all of this? Martinson, a college junior, was not the chapter president or in any real position of authority. Another source adds, “One of the weird things is she wasn’t really in charge of anything even though she made it seem like she was in that email.”

The surviving Boston Marathon bombing suspect says he and his brother discussed attacking NYC’s Times Square next, according to law enforcement officials. The surviving suspect, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev , initially told investigators that they planned to go to New York to party after the Boston attack, the officials said. The New York police commissioner also gave a similar account. Under questioning, the officials said, Tsarnaev said that he and his deceased brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, discussed a follow-up attack on Times Square. The officials cautioned that the Tsarnaev’s idea was “undeveloped.” One senior official described the plan as speculative, and “aspirational at most.” Tsarnaev reportedly confessed to his role in the Boston blast, too. New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Police Commissioner Ray Kelly scheduled a press briefing later Thursday to further discuss this subject. Tsarnaev, wounded in a shootout with police (in which is brother died) before he was captured Friday night, is in fair condition at a Boston hospital. Three people were killed and more than 200 wounded when two bombs went off near the marathon finish line April 15, sparking a massive manhunt. A man who authorities say was carjacked by the Tsarnaevs before the shootout told police he heard one of the men say “Manhattan” before he escaped. Somewhere, Boston Marathon bombing conspiracy theorists are already discrediting this. In any case, the questioning happened before Tsarnaev was read his rights. The U.S. government had invoked an exception to the requirement that suspects be read what are known as their Miranda rights before questioning. The exception is applied in cases of public danger.

A fourth grader’s essay supporting marriage equality is going viral this week after a teacher posted a photo of it – typos and all – on Reddit. “One of my fourth grade students chose gay marriage as his topic for a persuasive essay,” the teacher, a Reddit user who goes by rafa3l2, wrote. “This is the result. More sense than some adults.” The student wrote in support of gay marriage: “Why gay people should be able to get married is you can’t stop two adult’s from getting married because there grown and it doesn’t matter if it creeps you out just get over it.” “You should be happy for them because it’s a big moment in their life. When I went to my grandparents wedding it was the happies moment.” “I am not sharing this because of how perfect the sentences are, but because of how clear his thought process is on this specific issue,” the teacher wrote. “It isn’t as simple as pointing out mistakes and spelling errors.” While one fourth grade writer’s essay might not change any laws, GLAAD, an organization that supports equality for the LGBT community, praised it. Michael Bay does not apologize for Armageddon. I repeat, he does not apologize. Yesterday, we reported that Bay apologized for Armageddon , saying that he didn’t have enough time to do it right. But today the director has released a statement to the contrary: “One press writer has gone too far in reporting false information. He has printed the bare minimum of my statement which in effect have twisted my words and meaning.” The director added “still today Armageddon, is still one of the most shown movies on cable TV. ” “And yes, I’m proud of the movie. Enough said.” Some fans think Bay has plenty of other movies he could apologize for, but that’s beside that point.
