According to US Weekly: It’s a girl for Kelly Clarkson and husband Brandon Blackstock! The couple married in October 2013 and announced their first pregnancy soon after. Clarkson, 31, is currently 4 months along, and took to Twitter on Jan. 20 to reveal the gender of her baby. “We just found out we’re having a girl officially! I knew it! Only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting ha!” she tweeted. The “Tie It Up” singer has been publicly predicting her baby’s gender even before she announced she was expecting. In a November 2013 issue of Parade Magazine, the American Idol alum said, “I’m totally gonna have a girl. I’m manifesting it! It all started in December 2012 when Justin announced he was adding a second leg to the North American Believe tour. I had tried to get VIP to the first leg but I ended up just getting normal tickets which was amazing anyway. On December 12th 2012, VIP went on sale and I managed to get the M&G’s which instantly brought me to tears. I was screaming and crying for hours that day and the person I brought with me was @biebermaniaNY. I actually met her on Twitter and didn’t even really know her but now we’re like best friends. The tickets I bought were for August 2nd 2013 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. The day of, I knew 2 girls from Twitter (@stratfordstyles @sashababy824), so we hung out with them online line and in the VIP party. Soon it was time to start lining up and we made sure we were one of the first people to meet Justin. Once we were lined up, we were like the 5th people in line and I saw behind the black curtain, Justin coming in on his Segway. I tried not to scream but I did screech and freak out a bit. They then sent me into the black tent. My friend Mikaela went before me and I stood there staring at Justin, I couldn’t even believe he was real. My friend told him he saved her life and he gave her a little pouty face. It was the CUTEST thing ever. (BTW apparently Justin was on voice rest so he had to avoid talking as much as possible). I was next. I walked up to him and just looked at him. I was about to start crying but I said, “I love you so much” and hugged him so tight. While I was about to cry, he sorta spun me around to take the picture and I felt him grab my face…. like FULL ON GRAB MY FACE and pull it towards his. He was holding me up against him, I thought I was dreaming! Our faces were touching, he was pulling me in so tight, I was trying to hold back the tears. Then they took the picture! As I was leaving I said hi to Ryan Good and Ryan Butler because they were standing there as well. I turned back and just looked at Justin in disbelief because I could NOT believe what had just happened. I left and then me and my friend ran to each other and hugged each other. It didn’t hit me for like a minute, so once I got up the stairs it hit me and I broke down crying for a good hour. It was the best day of my life. During the concert I was 3rd row and we made eye contact about 3 or 4 times. We handed out signs to our section (F3) that said: “We will never let you go.” Dan Kanter saw us hand them out as Justin was about to start singing “Be Alright” and the entire time, Dan smiled and stared at us and we waved to him. Let me start off by saying I never thought I would be able to meet Justin because money is super tight in my family, but once I found out he was coming to my city in July, I made up my mind. I had to do everything I possibly could do try and win meet and greet passes. It all started the week before the concert. All these local radio stations started coming out with contests to win meet & greet passes, so of course I entered every single contest I could. There was not one contest that I did not enter. I tried calling in to guess how many Swedish fish were in a jar, I got up EVERY SINGLE morning that whole week to listen at 7 a.m to see if I would hear my name called on the radio, sadly they didn’t call my name. I went to a screaming contest to see if I could win that, I didn’t. I even made my sister and her 2 guy friends come with me go-carting (you had to be 18 or older to race, I’m 15). I was not gonna let anything bring me down, I still had one more chance, it was BieberFever. I knew they emailed the winners the day before the concert. At around 4 o’clock I just checked my email to see if anything was there and all of a sudden I see: “CONGRATULATIONS VICTORIA!” and I flipped out. I started to scream so loudly, I started bawling my eyes out and running outside. My friend who was coming to the concert with me was over and she didn’t believe me until I showed her the e-mail. Everyone had told me, “Victoria stop trying,” “You’re not gonna win” or “You’re just like every girl who wants to meet him.” I kept thinking to myself, “Something good is going to happen,” and it did. Hurst has woken up, but is still in the ICU at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Hospital. According to CNN: Seventy seconds: That’s how long a North Carolina family says it took for things to go horribly wrong as they sought police help dealing with their mentally ill son. Keith Vidal, 18, died Sunday. According to CNN affiliate WECT, he was just shot 1 minute and 10 seconds after a third law enforcement officer showed up at his Brunswick County home. “There was no reason to shoot this kid,” the teen’s stepfather, Mark Wilsey, told WECT on Monday. “They killed my son in cold blood. We called for help, and they killed my son.” “I think that we can certainly understand why this family is upset right now,” the Wilmington Star-News newspaper quoted District Attorney Jon David as saying. “They just lost a child, and certainly my thoughts and prayers are with them. But what they want from this office today is justice, and I intend to give them exactly that.” The incident happened Sunday afternoon when the mother and stepfather of the Boiling Spring Lakes man called police. According to stepbrother Mark Ryan Wilsey, Vidal had schizophrenia and “was having an episode,” and his parents wanted police to subdue him so he could get help. “Everything was going good,” Mark Wilsey said, according to WWAY. “Then this fat cop from Southport walks in the room, walks around the corner, says, ‘We don’t have time for this. Tase that kid now. Let’s get him out of here.’ “ The stepfather said Vidal tried to run but was struck with two Taser charges and fell backward. He said the first two officers to respond got on top of Vidal. WECT attributed a slightly different accounting of events to Mark Wilsey. Dennis Rodman went positively ballistic today during an interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo. While surrounded with several former NBA players, Rodman defended his trips to North Korea as a “great idea for the world.” But should the group, who is due to play in a basketball game tomorrow in honor of Kim Jong Un ‘s 31st birthday, really be in Pyongyang? Is this a good idea, considering North Korea’s human rights record? Cuomo also asked Rodman a serious question about Kenneth Bae, an American citizen who was arrested in November 2012, convicted last spring by North Korea of unexplained “hostile acts” and sentenced to 15 years in a labor camp… only for Rodman to FLIP OUT.
