Avril Lavigne Dresses In Sexy Army Gear, Still Married To A Loser

Now that Avril Lavigne is officially married to that Nickelback douche, I haven’t exactly been running out to do posts on her. That’s not the kind of behavior I want to encourage in our young hotties. This, on the other hand, is: Avril wearing some kind of hot army costume for her new music video and giving the camera some sweet tongue action. Now if we can just get her to divorce court, we’ll really be back in business again. Photos: PacificCoastNews

You know, every time I’ve written about Carmen Ortega in the past, I’ve focused so much on that juicy booty of hers that I never really stopped to appreciate how awesome the rest of her is too. Well, that all changes with these latest bikini pictures. I’m going to make sure I appreciate Carmen’s entire bikini body today. Maybe even two or three times if the Little Tuna’s up for it. Carmen Ortega’s Busty Sexy Photoshoot

Once again, we have Carmen Ortega and her sweet meaty body back on the site. Unfortunately, the photographer didn’t take any shots of her juicy booty, but luckily Carmen is the whole package and her booty isn’t the only thing that is juicy. Carmen is so much woman, I wouldn’t know what to do with her. I’d probably just run away scared. Hey, I’m a blogger, not Don Juan. I know my limitations.

‘Dirty Dancing’ Remake A ‘Big Challenge,’ Director Says

‘I hope we can bring something unique and original to help change the naysayers’ minds about the film,’ Kenny Ortega tells ‘The Insider.’ By Terri Schwartz Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey in the 1987 classic “Dirty Dancing” Photo: Getty Images Kenny Ortega has been tasked with remaking the 1987 classic “Dirty Dancing,” and he knows you aren’t happy about it. The announcement earlier this week was met with seemingly universal backlash, especially in MTV News’ comment section. Commenter lisha.16 lashed out against Hollywood’s continued dependence on remakes, while Valerie Anne Devine pointed out that “Dirty Dancing” is “not broken therefore does not require a makeover.” In an interview with “The Insider,” Ortega said he was initially in the same boat. “Saying yes to this project was a really tough decision for me, and one that I wrestled with for a long time,” said the “This Is It” director, who was a choreographer on the original “Dirty Dancing.” “I had to be won over too.” So far, there’s no script or casting ideas set, just the idea to remake the movie first made famous by Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey. But “Dirty Dancing” is no stranger to reinvention. The movie inspired a successful Broadway musical as well as the 2004 box-office flop “Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights.” Ortega said his first step in creating this remake is to not try to top anything the original movie did. “We have a big challenge and a long road ahead of us,” Ortega said. “All I can say is that I hope we can bring something unique and original to help change the naysayers’ minds about the film.” That starts with not trying to find a way to replace Swayze and Grey. “They’re one of a kind, and they deserve to be called that,” he said. Ortega said he has been impressed with “So You Think You Can Dance” finalist Melanie Moore’s skills and told her live on the air that she has a role waiting for her in the film if she wants it. He also said that he would love to find a role for Grey in the remake if she’d want to be part of it. As for who should play male lead Johnny Castle, MTV’s Hollywood Crush blog suggested Ryan Gosling could be a pretty good choice. Ortega is no stranger to fans rebelling against remakes of ’80s dance flicks. He was originally attached to direct the upcoming “Footloose” remake before dropping out because he didn’t like the tone Paramount wanted for their modernized take. It will be interesting to see whether Ortega’s “Dirty Dancing” also gets updated to the present day with current popular dancing or if it maintains the 1960s setting and styles that the original had. Kenny Ortega to Testify About Dr. Conrad Murray Drugging Michael Jackson at Hearing

Kenny Ortega, director and producer of Michael Jackson’s “This Is It,” will be a star witness in prosecutors’ bid to convict Dr. Conrad Murray of manslaughter. Ortega’s testimony is crucial, because – to make a long story short – he will help the prosecution argue that MJ was fine before Murray began drugging him . A week before MJ died, he was too weak to perform , so rehearsals for This Is It (later made into a film, which you can see the trailer for below) were canceled. The next day (June 20, 2009), an emergency meeting was held at Michael’s home with Jackson, Ortega, Murray, officials from AEG and Dr. Murray present. The meeting was “intense, loud and argumentative,” with Kenny reading Michael the riot act, imploring him to take care of himself with the tour imminent.

Michael Jackson Doctor Conrad Murray Gets His Day In Court

Jackson’s choreographer Kenny Ortega is expected to testify at the preliminary hearing in Los Angeles. By Gil Kaufman Dr. Conrad Murray (file) Photo: Frederick M. Brown/ Getty Images More than a year and a half after the shocking death of Michael Jackson, the only person charged in the singer’s death, his personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray, will finally get his day in court. Murray, who has been charged with one felony count of involuntary manslaughter, will be in a Los Angeles courtroom on Tuesday (January 4) for the first day of a preliminary hearing to determine whether there is enough evidence to hold a full trial. The hearing, in front of Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor, is expected to last two weeks and feature testimony from more than two dozen witnesses, most of whom are medical experts. Prosecutors will attempt to show that Murray, who has pleaded not guilty to the manslaughter charge, was responsible for the singer’s death from an overdose of prescription drugs on June 25, 2009. Murray’s lawyers have said the doctor did inject the 50-year-old pop icon with the powerful surgical anesthetic propofol in an attempt to combat Jackson’s chronic insomnia, but that the dose “should have” not been enough to kill him. TMZ reported on Tuesday that one of the star witnesses during the preliminary hearing will be Jackson’s “This is It” choreographer Kenny Ortega. Citing an unnamed source, TMZ said that Ortega is expected to testify that the week before Jackson died , the singer complained that he felt cold, had the shakes and could not perform, which resulted in a canceled rehearsal. On the next day, June 20, 2009, an emergency meeting was reportedly called at Jackson’s rented Los Angeles mansion between the pop star, Ortega, several executives from concert promotion giant AEG Live and Murray. The meeting was described as “intense, loud and argumentative” and Ortega is said to have laid into Jackson, imploring the singer to take better care of himself in the lead-up to what was intended to be his live swan song. According to TMZ, Ortega is expected to testify that Murray said some “terrible things” during the meeting and displayed a lack of concern and respect for his patient, comments that could be “damaging” to Murray. Last week, one of the prosecutors in the case claimed that Murray’s lawyers were planning to claim that Jackson killed himself when he self-administered a lethal dose of propofol after waking up in a panic from a bout of fitful sleep. Ortega is also reportedly set to testify that in the two days before his death, Jackson was a changed man, impressing his backup dancers with his upbeat singing and dancing. The testimony could be key to the prosecutors’ case, since it could paint a portrait of Jackson as being healthy and energetic before Murray administered the cocktail of sedatives and propofol that allegedly resulted in the singer’s death.
