Lil Wayne Holds On To Top Billboard Spot

Tha Carter IV is still #1 despite sharp drop-off in sales. By Gil Kaufman Lil Wayne Photo: C. Flanigan/ WireImage Lil Wayne will make it an easy two in a row at the top of the Billboard 200 chart with Tha Carter IV next week, when the album holds on to the #1 spot thanks to sales of 219,000. After just missing out on moving 1 million copies in its debut, the disc easily passed the mark, approaching 1.2 million even as sales dove 77 percent in the second go-round. Suffering an equally big drop was the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ I’m With You, which lost 75 percent of its first-week business, moving down three spots to #5 as sales reached nearly 288,000. Among the new faces in the top 10 are country giant George Strait , whose Here for a Good Time debuts at #3 on sales of 91,000, and the Beatles ‘ 1, which shoots back into the #4 position thanks to a remastered physical and first-time digital release that helped it move 60,000 units. But the week’s biggest gainer is Maroon 5 ‘s year-old Hands All Over, which has gotten a major boost thanks to a re-released version with the new top 10 hit “Moves Like Jagger.” The disc climbs another 16 slots to #7 as sales picked up by 97 percent to 29,000. The rest of the top 10: Adele, 21 (#2, 121,000), Jay-Z and Kanye West , Watch the Throne (#6, 49,000), NOW 39 (#8, 27,000), Beyonc

Kita Makes An Appearance With Her Battery-Operated Boyfriend On “The T.O Show” [VIDEO]

So if last week’s episode of “The T.O Show” wasn’t a big enough introduction of Kita’s “battery operated boyfriend” in which she respectfully named, “Ted”, on this week’s episode we were introduced to Ted’s larger, bigger and more powerful brother/homie/best friend who shall remain nameless.. John Salley made an appearance on this week’s episode and unveiled to the world Kita’s new “toy” (which should have been hidden deep in the darkest corner of her room) and brought it out for everyone to see. After smelling it (GROSS!) he showed it to T.O who’s facial expression was PRICELESS and the jokes wouldn’t end. LOL poor Kita! John Salley’s actual purpose on this week’s episode wasn’t to reveal Kita’s vibrator (believe it or not). He was actually there to talk with T.O about how to expand his career and to host a bikini contest in which T.O was judging and Kita secretly participated in, and won! (And her body is banging by the way!) Kita’s moment of glory didn’t last very long as she was visited by her ex-boyfriend who broke her heart many years ago. Their awkward meeting was only for him to reveal to Kita that he was still in love with her and try to rekindle some old flames. Kita gave him the boot once again because she couldn’t forgive him for his past mistakes and let T.O know that he should keep his nose out of other people’s business. T.O responded with, “You outta be grateful somebody’s trying to love your little ass..” and Kita went home to Ted (just kidding lol) What did you think about this week’s episode of “The T.O Show”? Simon Cowell, Tyler Perry Lead Highest-Paid Men In Entertainment

Jerry Bruckheimer, Steven Spielberg, Leonardo DiCaprio and Elton John also in the top 10 of Forbes list. By Gil Kaufman Tyler Perry Photo: Kevin Winter/ Getty Images Though the stars get the headlines, it’s almost always the people behind the scenes who rake in the most cash in Hollywood. Case in point: According to the new Forbes magazine tally, the list of the highest-paid men in entertainment is led by actor/director/screenwriter/producer/author Tyler Perry, whose films have grossed more than $500 million worldwide. He tops a list — measuring the entertainers’ earnings from May 2010 to May 2011 — that also includes Steven Spielberg, Simon Cowell and one of the only actors on the list, Leonardo DiCaprio. How did Perry make it to the top with $130 million over the past year? Thanks to fat checks from his TV shows, “Meet the Browns” and “House of Payne,” as well as his hit series of movies based around his drag character Madea and his upcoming rare acting role as the titular detective in I, Alex Cross. Excerpt from:

President Obama is taking the American Jobs Act (AJA) on the road to the people with whom it will resonate most: the currently unemployed; young people in college facing a slow jobs market; and veterans back home looking for work. He is at his best in this environment. It’s what I wish he would have done more of during the horrid debt-ceiling debate. He’s not out there peddling high hopes, either…. I met Justin on the 5th December 2010. I have been a belieber,…

I met Justin on the 5th December 2010. I have been a belieber, not since his first ever video was put on Youtube but since the One Time music video came out. I love him so much and I so happy that I have met Justin. Justin was spending a week in the UK and I was on the internet 24/7 that whole week, kinda stalking him. Anyway I was on twitter and a girl posted the link to the HMV Tickets website and it was for a Book Signing & Meet and Greet in London. I scrolled down to see where the book tickets button was, but there wasn’t one. When I went back onto Twitter I found out that all the tickets has sold out. I am from Manchester and London is 2 half hours away but I still felt like crying because I knew that was my only chance of meeting Justin. My dad walked in and could tell I was upset so I told him about the book signing and he comforted me telling me that I will get another chance to meet him. The next day I was round at my mums house and my dad came round early in the morning. I went into my living room and sat watching TV. A few minutes later my dad walked in and handed me a piece of paper asking me what I thought, I saw at the top HMV Tickets and I got butterflies.  Then I saw Event: MEET JUSTIN BIEBER and my mouth dropped. I fell to the floor and started shaking while crying my eyes out! I couldnt believe it. It was Saturday and the meet and greet was on Sunday. I just kept thinking I am meeting Justin Bieber TOMORROW. My mum took me out to get something to wear for the day and all I did on Saturday was watch music videos and sing his songs.  I woke up Sunday morning with the biggest smile on my face. I got ready, my dad picked me up and we got the train down to London. The train had a hour and a half delay at 1:30 and the doors opened at 2:30, I started thinking everything was too good to be true. Then we almost missed the underground and then we were queuing for 3 hours with the line moving no closer to the door. When the doors finally opened all of us girls were shrieking and singing. Now all I had to do was get into the venue and I would be in the same room as Justin Bieber. I walked up stairs to a small room when it was my turn and all I could see was photography equiptement and security. I was guided over to the que and I looked next to me and stood on the stage was Scooter Braun and Ryan Good both looking in the same direction, Scooter looked down at me and smiled (BIG FAN GIRL MOMENT) and then I followed where there eyes were looking and saw him stood there, Justin Bieber. He was only a few steps away, there was a girl and her brother stood infront of me in the line and they walked on to stand with Justin, but for a second I just kind of froze looking at him in amazement. He looked over in my direction as I finally found it in me to start walking over to him, and he smiled. I stood in front of him and he said “Hey.” Then did his bieber smile, I was finding it hard to breath so I let out a silent high pitched “Hi” and moved next to him. He put his arm around me and he turned towards the camera, but the camera man wasnt ready. We were waiting on this one girl that was in shock talking to the security woman, while we were waiting I looked up at Justin’s face and I was just staring for a while. His jawline and neck were amazing and his hair and his eyes just everything. Then he looked down at me and smiled again, then the girl came over and stood next to me. Now we were ready for the photo. Picture was taken and the people I had the photo with went off, but I wanted to tell him thank you so I said “Thank you Justin so much for everything” and he looked into my eyes, held onto my arm and went “No thank you” and then the security guard pushed me away. I was in a total daze on my way out, I didnt know which way to walk, I almost got hit by a car because I had no idea where I was going. All I was thinking was OMG I just met THE Justin Bieber. -@BadEnoughForJB  Read more: I met Justin on the 5th December 2010. I have been a belieber,…

Jewish Groups Want Mel Gibson Yanked From Film

Two powerful organizations are far from pleased about recent news that Mel Gibson was cast in a movie about biblical Jewish hero Judah Maccabee. The Anti-Defamation League has demanded that the producers pull Gibson off the flick immediately, sending a statement directed at Warner Bros. Why are they fired up? Probably this incident , among others. “As a hero of the Jewish people and a universal hero in the struggle for religious liberty, Judah Maccabee deserves better,” the group said of Mel. “It would be a travesty to have the story of the Maccabees told by one who has no respect and sensitivity for other people’s religious views.” Rabbi Marvin Hier, founder and Dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, also had some harsh words about Gibson’s role in the upcoming film. The Jewish leader tells TMZ that casting Mel Gibson as a Jewish hero is “like having a white supremacist portray Martin Luther King Jr.” For those unaware, Judah, the brave warrior who drove enemies of Judaism out of Jerusalem, is a central figure in the story of Hannukah. No comment yet from Mel’s camp or WB. [Photo: WENN.com]

Eminem Tops Britney Spears In Nail-Biting Song Of Summer Race

Bad Meets Evil’s ‘Lighters,’ featuring Bruno Mars, ekes past ‘I Wanna Go’ in MTV News poll. By John Mitchell Royce Da 5’9″ and Eminem Photo: MTV News It was a contentious showdown, but after many lead changes, Bad Meets Evil’s “Lighters,” featuring Bruno Mars, bested Britney Spears’ “I Wanna Go” to take MTV News’ Song of Summer crown. Nearly a half-million votes were cast, though a vast majority (327,679) of those were split almost evenly between Royce Da 5’9″ and Eminem’s joint project and Spears. Fan groups rallied behind their respective favorites, leading to a lot of back-and-forth over the past few days, but “Lighters” ultimately came out ahead when polls closed earlier Wednesday (September 7), taking 38.2 percent of the tally with 167,202 votes. The track has turned into a summer sleeper hit for Em, Royce and Mars. It is currently holding strong at #4, its peak position so far, on the Billboard Hot 100, 11 weeks after debuting on the chart. Spears’ “I Wanna Go” — the third Billboard top 10 hit from Femme Fatale — trailed with just over 36.6 percent. If Spears is less than pleased with coming in second, she can take comfort in knowing that her 160,477 votes put her way ahead of her nearest competitor, Lady Gaga, by well over 100,000 votes. Taking 11.91 percent of the poll, Gaga’s “The Edge of Glory” came in third with 52,126 votes. The only other song to pull down a sizable number of votes was Rihanna’s “S&M,” a track released in late spring that topped the charts early this summer, which garnered 34,681 votes for 7.92 percent of the tally. Interestingly, many of the summer’s biggest chart hits found themselves without much love in our Newsroom poll. Among the songs that reached #1 on the Billboard singles chart but found themselves with fractional percentages of the vote here were Katy Perry’s history-making “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” with just 1.26 percent, Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” (0.33 percent), LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem” (0.71 percent) and this week’s Hot 100 #1, Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera’s “Moves Like Jagger” (0.98 percent). Radio hits from Pitbull and Nicki Minaj also missed the boat with 3,090 votes (0.71 percent) and 1,655 votes (0.38 percent), respectively, for “Give Me Everything” and “Super Bass,” while “Dirty Dancer” by Enrique Iglesias featuring Usher and Lil Wayne took 0.28 percent and “Otis” from Throne duo Jay-Z and Kanye West scored just 0.12 percent (or 524 votes). The numbers for mainstream artists like Perry, Minaj and West were fairly similar to those accrued by lower-profile acts Foster the People, Cobra Starship and David Guetta. Foster’s “Pumped Up Kicks” earned the band 0.14 percent of our poll, with slightly bigger numbers falling to Cobra’s “You Make Me Feel” (0.25) and Guetta’s “Where Them Girls At” (0.16). Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV Near-Million Sales ‘Cool’ With Birdman

On Sway’s Shade 45 radio show, Baby shoots down rumors that Cash Money bought up Weezy’s albums to ensure a big debut. By Rob Markman, with reporting by Sway Calloway Lil Wayne and Birdman Photo: Kevin Mazur/ WireImage Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV may have fallen just short of the million mark in its first full week of sales, but Birdman feels platinum regardless. The #1 Stunna spoke with MTV News’ Sway Calloway on his Shade 45 “Sway in the Morning” radio show about Weezy’s #1 album and 964,000 copies sold. “People doin’ different numbers,” Birdman said of the initial predictions, which had Wayne selling more than a million. “But this comes from Billboard. To me, that’s a million; 964, we right there, so it’s cool. We’ll just keep grinding, I guess.” Baby also touched on the Internet rumors that he and Cash Money purchased copies of Tha Carter IV to ensure a mega-sales debut. “Nah, man, that really don’t make no sense. Why would we do that?” Birdman asked. “I press and distribute ’em. Ain’t no need for me to buy ’em. That’s hustling backwards; we ain’t in it for that. I ain’t ever been a part of that type of scheme to be buyin’ records. We don’t do that, homey. We be working too hard to be — that don’t go with what we do. We truly what we do. We’re real about what we do, we work hard every day at it, and we work for the people. That’s what we do music for: for people. And we appreciate the love they give us back. But no such thing as me buying no CDs. I wouldn’t even play it like that.” After being pressed by Sway, the Cash Money CEO estimated that the company made about $10 per album sold, but the exact number remains to be seen. Regardless, Birdman insists that the Cash Money/ Young Money camp is back to work and focusing on Drake’s sophomore album, Take Care, which is set to be released October 24. Catch MTV News’ Sway Calloway on “Sway in the Morning,” on SiriusXM Radio’s Shade 45 , Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to noon ET. Related Artists Birdman Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne’s Carter IV Tops Billboard With Nearly A Million Sold

Hyped album moved 964,000 copies in its first week. By Gil Kaufman Lil Wayne Photo: Kevin Winter/Getty Images Lil Wayne was thisclose to making history as the first rap act to open with back-to-back million-selling albums. Thanks to record-setting iTunes sales of 300,000, plus the push provided by a post-VMA on-sale stunt, Weezy’s eagerly anticipated Tha Carter IV will debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart next week on sales of 964,000, according to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan. That’s more than enough to win out over funky veterans the Red Hot Chili Peppers , who land at #2 with I’m With You thanks to sales of 229,000. That figure is less than half as much as the band’s previous release, the double album Stadium Arcadium, which moved 443,000 copies in its first week on the charts in 2006. Dance master David Guetta has a solid debut with his star-packed Nothing but the Beat, which lands at #5 (56,000), just barely edging out country singer Jake Owen ‘s Barefoot Blue Jean Night (55,000). A number of other artists got a VMA bump, including Adele, whose 21 is up 88 percent to 154,000 (putting her just shy of 3.3 million to date) and Beyonc

Stressed and Unhappy? Try Emotional and Mind Mastery

By Jay Levin There are three internal elements of yourself that determine whether your life is satisfactory or not.  One is how often – and to what degree – you either feel negative emotions or bottle up the ones you don’t know how to express safely. Because of lack of training in just exactly what to do with negative emotions, for many people a good day is one in which neither stress, anxiety, worry, anger, resentment, frustration, sadness, depression,  grief or sheer numbness are dominant. In other words, for most people to feel really good most of the day and enjoy a great range of subtle pleasant emotions is the exception, not the rule.  The general rule is: “Hey, it’s great when I feel some joy breaking in to my usual stress, unpleasantness, or bottled up numbness.” Elements two and three involve the mind. Element two is the mind chattering to you all the time, constantly trying to figure it all out and wondering whether this or that will work for you, or how this or that person is going to respond to you, and commenting on and concerning itself with everything. In most modern societies we develop this chatter in childhood as a response to needs of ours that otherwise are not being met – and most of us go to the grave with our minds chattering away and believing that this is the way of all humankind, not realizing how much such unnecessary and changeable “mentalizing” obscures our intuitive wisdom and knowingness while robbing us of peace of mind. Element three is the critical part of the mind that watches your own and everyone else’s every move and is perfectly happy to find fault with others as well as yourself. At its worst this inner voice of judgment robs us of self-confidence and self-esteem while doing real damage to our relationships and to friendships and family members- and often enough to our careers. The good news is there are absolutely superb tools available via which you can dramatically alleviate all three of these elements. There are skills and techniques you can learn that allow you to master your emotional body so that you can alter negative feelings almost immediately and heal the profoundest of traumas. Learn these skills and you don’t need a therapist. There are also skills by which you can gradually end the mind chatter and master the critic, so that your mind is free to perform in a remarkable manner you have rarely experienced. These are techniques developed over the last 40 years which have a solid scientific foundation and were simply  not available to your ancestors, and probably not even to your parents. It is these and additional skills for dealing with other aspects of life – including finances, career, family and relationships –  that a good Life Coach brings to the table. In fact, a healthy way to define a Life Coach is a teacher or tutor guiding you to a post-graduate level of doing life well, rather than the grade school or lower level many people are educated to. Another way to look at it is that the goal of Life Coaches like myself is to teach you to be so skilled in dealing with your challenges that you become your own life coach and therapist. Then, as you share your learning with friends and family, you become a source of helping other people’s lives improve. In short, it’s a big win all around.  I’m happy to help you get started. *** For more info click here:   http://www.lifecoachrehab.com Go here to read the rest: Stressed and Unhappy?
