Javi Marroquin: Moving On to a DIFFERENT MTV Show?!

If you watch Teen Mom 2 online , you know that the wildly popular reality series occasionally feels a bit overstuffed in its current season. The show has a new cast member in Briana DeJesus , and the other moms lives are as drama-packed than ever. So perhaps it’s not surprising that ancillary figures like Kailyn Lowry’s ex-husband, Javi Marroquin, are looking to move on to new projects. After all, these days, Kailyn is soon to welcome her third child , and her increasingly hectic life may well result in less screen time for Javi. So in an effort to maintain relevance, Marroquin is making moves, y’all. According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup , MTV is considering doing an all-star edition of The Challenge for the show’s 31st (!!!) season. Our older readers might remember the show with its original, ludicrously clumsy title, Real World/Road Rules The Challenge . In those days, The Challenge featured fan favorites from the network’s first two reality shows competing in various, um … challenges. More recent seasons have followed the network’s protocol of filling every series with generic pretty people, but now, it looks as though MTV execs are looking to return to pitting stars from other shows against one another. It makes sense that Javi would be among the first to get the call, as he’s mentioned his desire to compete on the show in numerous social media posts. Nothing has been confirmed thus far, but since The Challenge films for seven weeks beginning in September, so the schedule likely wouldn’t interfere with Marroquin’s TM2 duties. It wouldn’t be the first time that producers poached talent from another series, as the show addded castmembers from MTV’s Are You the One in 2014. They probably won’t have to do much convincing to get Javi to sign on, as we already know he’s a fan of MTV’s full slate of programming. Javi often tweets about other shows, and he briefly dated Madison Channing Walls of The Real World fame. There’s no word on how Kailyn feels about her ex’s new opportunity. But given how much her relationship with Javi has deteriorated in recent months, we’re guessing she wouldn’t mind if he takes off for a couple months. Jennifer Lopez: I Don’t Want A-Rod to Be My Fourth Ex-Husband!

You don’t want to dive head-first into anything, least of all marriage. Scratch that — especially marriage, least of all your fourth marriage. It sounds like Jennifer Lopez is taking past lessons to heart as, according to a new report, she’s getting cold feet about the prospect of marrying A-Rod. Even though the two of them seem to be in love to a nauseating degree . According to Life & Style ‘s source, Jennifer Lopez doesn’t want Alexander Rodriguez to become her fourth ex-husband . And, admittedly, four ex-spouses is kind of on the high side, even by Hollywood standards. “Jennifer worries she’s going to make another mistake,” says the source. But it sounds like A-Rod has really been pushing for them to make it official. (Understandable, since J Lo is legendarily hot and it sounds like he’s crazy about her) Apparently, though, his eagerness is backfiring. “She doesn’t work well under pressure. A-Rod just has to back off.” We don’t know that we’d say that she doesn’t work well under pressure — she’s a performer. But many people balk when they feel that they’re being rushed to make major decisions. You want to make sure that you’re doing it right. (The best time to start planning a simple vacation is a year in advance, after all) J Lo, it seems, isn’t quite ready to take her fourth plunge. “Jennifer keeps telling Alex that she’s ‘just not there yet.” ( Life & Style humorously asks “how many ex husbands are too many?” Our first thought was a veiled widow at the funeral of her seventh rich husband, checking her bank account on her phone and asking herself that very same question) Jennifer Lopez has been married three times, and two of those marriages were almost astoundingly brief. Let’s take you through them: -Fellow actor Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998 -Backup dancer Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003 -Singer, songwriter, and producer Marc Anthony from 2004 to 2014 It was of course with Marc Anthony that J Lo had her twins, Emme Maribel Muñiz and Maximillian David Muñiz, born February 22nd, 2008. Ojani Noa has said that he was looking forward to spending the rest of his life with J Lo. He blames her for choosing her career over him. (Honestly, considering her career … it’s really hard to fault her for that. You’d have to be some dumbass Disney character to choose love over that, right? … No offense to Disney characters) It’s understandable that, just three years after ending her marriage to Marc Anthony, J Lo would be cautious about getting hitched again. That wouldn’t explain why she may still be texting Casper Smart . But you want to explore all of your options before you tie the knot. They haven’t even been a couple for all that long. Real life relationships shouldn’t move at a soap opera pace. (Or have as many evil twins) We first told you that J Lo and A-Rod were dating back in March. Four months later and some change … is just not enough time to decide to get married, folks. So J Lo is right to press on the brakes. And once you’ve been through some marriages, it’s easy to a wedding as just a prelude to a divorce. We’ve all heard allegations that Jennifer Lopez isn’t a reliably good tipper to her servers in some situations, but all in all, we still want her to be happy. (Though please tip your servers, especially if you’re mega-rich, but also if you’re literally anyone) We hope that she’s having fun with A-Rod — which she clearly is — and that she’ll continue to enjoy the relationship for as long as it lasts. But if she’s anxious and wanting to take her time with this relationship, we say to follow those instincts.

Justin Bieber: Banned in China for Being Impure, "Bad"

Judged on the low bar he has set for himself over the years, Justin Bieber has been acting pretty responsibly these days. Heck, he just visited some sick young fans at a hospital and he grew all emotional performing at the Manchester memorial concert last month. However, despite his run of relatively good behavior, the singer has apparently been banned from performing in China due to… well… very bad behavior. The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture announced this week that Bieber cannot perform in the country because he is impure and he sets a negative example for supporters in that nation. The ban was explained when a fan of the scandal-filled artist posted on the Bejing Culture Bureau’s website, asking why she couldn’t see the singer on stage in China during the Asia leg of his Purpose tour this September. “Please give a detailed explanation of why Justin Bieber is not allowed to come to China!” wrote this curious individual, adding: “[He] has won many major awards, which demonstrates his extraordinary talents. Why aren’t mainland fans given the right to enjoy his performance?”  And this is how the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture replied: We sympathize with your feelings. Justin Bieber is a talented singer but is also a controversial young foreign idol. We understand that there are records of his bad behavior, whether it is in his private life abroad or on stage. His inappropriate manner has caused public discontent. In order to regulate the market order of show business in China and purify the market environment, it was decided that performers of inappropriate behavior will not be welcomed. That’s just amazing all around. What sort of bad behavior might China be referring to? Bieber has a history of driving recklessly, screaming at his own fans and generally acting like a pompous jackass. But there was a specific incident in China itself that may have gotten the government understandably riled up. In 2013, while on tour in the area, the superstar was captured on camera being carried up to the Great Wall of China by his bodyguards. Reports at the time indicated that officials in the country were offended by this action… as were many sane-minded individuals who saw it as the epitome of Justin Bieber acting like a spoiled brat. Then, in 2014, Bieber shared photos of himself visiting the Yasukuni Shrine in Tokyo, which many Chinese citizens see as a monument to Japan’s brutal wartime past. It’s not the kind of place you just brag about attending on social media. Bieber quickly apologized for the images and deleted them from his Instagram account. “While in Japan I asked my driver to pull over for which I saw a beautiful shrine,” he wrote at the time, explaining: “I was mislead to think the Shrines were only a place of prayer. To anyone I have offended I am extremely sorry. I love you China and I love you Japan.” That’s nice and all. But Chinese authorities do not love him back. Jada Pinkett-Smith Addresses Rumor that She and Will Smith Are Swingers!

Everybody's been subject to rumors at one point or another, but the ones about celebrities tend to be the most outlandish. Secret societies and cult rituals! Cloning factories! You name it. But even so, when a Watch What Happens Live caller asked Jada Pinkett-Smith to address the “craziest” rumor about her … we didn't quite expect this reply, which you can see in the video below! Jada laughs with Andy Cohen and mulls it over for a moment. “The craziest rumor? That Will and I are swingers.” (Swingers, of course, are couples who meet with other couples and exchange sex partners) We were a little surprised at that answer, but Jada certainly seems amused. (And we guess that it would somehow fit with the rumor that Jada Pinkett-Smith and Will Smith are both gay … somehow) And she says that, even though she and Will have been together for ages, that rumor still somehow follows them. “That's the craziest one. … It’s constant.” As to her general response to the rumor? “And I’m like, 'Yo, I wish!'” For the record, being a swinger isn't something that you're born with. If Jada and Will wanted to be swingers, they could be. Jada Pinkett-Smith also responds to Andy Cohen's next question, replying that she and Will have been together for 23 years. That would be a long-ass time for a regular, non-celebrity couple to be married. The average length of a marriage that ends in divorce is 8 years. The Smiths have been together for almost three marriages, basically. Jada Pinkett-Smith has laughed off divorce rumors in the past , quashing them before they can pick up steam. And they've also managed to basically avoid aging during that time. Jada addressed how they'd managed to remain a couple for so long. “I really think that Will and I just have amazing chemistry on a lot of different levels.” That's always good, of course. “We love to laugh together, we love to learn together, and we just love each other.” That's so cute! “We just have a good time together.” Good — if you need to escape from your spouse to have a good time, you're doing it wrong. (Though you should still, you know, be an individual who can go out and have fun) “Yeah, I guess that’s the secret. Yeah, we just really like each other!” It's funny, because a running joke among LGBT folks on social media is that straight couples don't seem to like each other. Married straight people often joke about their husbands being lazy or their wives nagging or call their spouse “the old ball and chain.” Since many LGBT people had to campaign for years or decades for the simple right to marry their partner, it seemed perplexing to see couples who'd always had that right act resentful, as if they'd been paired up against their will. It looks like Jada and Will just discovered one of the big “secrets” to happy same-sex marriages: actually liking your spouse . The swinging is an entertaining story. But we wonder if it's a deflection. When we think of rumors about the Smiths, we think of the rumor that they're both Scientologists. They've denied it, but it's interesting that Jada doesn't bring it up here. Anyway, see her reaction below in this video:

O.J. Simpson Granted Parole; Former NFL Star to Be Released From Prison in October

One of the most infamous public figures in America will soon be a free man once again. O.J. Simpson was granted parole moments ago after delivering a rambling account of his crimes and his time behind bars to a committee of prison officials. Simpson has served nine years behind bars on armed robbery charges stemming from a 2007 arrest in Las Vegas. Simpson told the parole board that he had no intention of committing a crime on the day in question, but was simply trying to retrieve items that he believed had been stolen from him. He maintained that it was only by sheer coincidence that he and the victim wound up in the same city on the same day. “As a perfect storm we all ended up in Las Vegas, you know?” Simpson said with a laugh. “I was there for a wedding and [was told that] the property was there.” Simpson often contradicted himself during his testimony, offering excuses and justifications for his actions one moment, then telling the parole board that he takes “full responsibility” for his crimes the next. “When I came into the [hotel] room I noticed spread out everywhere was my personal property,” said in his account of the robbery. “The only thing I saw that was on display that wasn’t mine was some baseballs, and I made it clear to everybody those are not mine. All I want is my property. … I wasn’t there to steal from anybody.” In response to allegations that he pointed a gun at the robbery victim, Simpson stated, “I would never, ever pull a weapon.” Bizarrely, Simpson told the board that he’s lived a “conflict-free life” and that his primary regrets are being unfaithful to his wife and turning his back on his religious beliefs. “I had some problems with fidelity in my life, but I’ve always been a guy that pretty much got along with everybody,” Simpson said. “I was always a good guy, but could have been a better Christian, and my commitment to change is to be a better Christian.” Over the course of the past year, there’s been a sudden resurgence in the public’s interest in Simpson’s life and crimes, in part due to a popular FX miniseries about his murder trial and an award winning biographical documentary. While there were some concerns that Simpson’s parole might be in jeopardy due to recent behavior behind bars, but most legal experts who speculated on the matter predicted that Simpson would be deemed eligible for parole. Simpson was convicted of armed robbery 13 years to the day that he was acquitted of the murders of his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman. Just because you are rich and famous, this does not mean you do not suffer. Tragically, the following stars all proved this point to be accurate when they took their own lives. We mourn their passing and we hope they have found the peace in death that they could not find in life… 1. Robin Williams Suffering from depression, Robin Williams hanged himself at the age of 63. 2. Mindy McCready The country artist killed herself with a self-inflicted gunshot wound in 2013, having twice attempted suicide in the past. Her children were already in foster care at the time of her death. 3. Kurt Cobain Kurt Cobain stunned the music world when the Nirvana lead singer killed himself via gunshot at the age of 27. 4. Tony Scott The director of Top Gun and True Romance, among other hits, died from multiple blunt force injuries after leaping off a bridge into the Los Angeles Harbor. He left notes for his friends and family. 5. Jovan Belcher Jovan Belcher, a linebacker on the Kansas City Chiefs at the time, shot his girlfriend dead and then drove to team headquarters where he shot and killed himself in front of his coach and general manager. Horrible stuff. 6. Lucy Gordon The British actress appeared in Spiderman 3 and Serendipity and was sadly found dead in her Paris apartment. She hanged herself. View Slideshow

Kevin Hart Responds to Rumors of Cheating on Pregnant Wife

Kevin Hart is in literally every movie these days, and with great fame comes great tabloid scrutiny. So it was only a matter of time before Hart became embroiled in some sort of scandal. It’s to be expected … but we didn’t think Hart’s first major tabloid controversy would be this dumb. Hart married Eniko Parrish  last year, and she’s currently pregnant with the couple’s first child. (Hart has two kids from his first marriage.) Hart allegedly cheated on his first wife, Torrei Hart , with Parish, so certain members of the press has been eager to catch him an act of infidelity for the quite some time. And yesterday, it briefly looked as though their time had come. Video of Hart sitting in a car with a young woman at 5 am emerged online yesterday, and at first, it looked mighty incriminating. Then, slowly, the truth began to emerge. Those who watched the video closely noted that Kevin appears to be sitting in the passenger seat, and the unidentified woman is in the back. What’s more, there’s a third person in the car, seated in the passenger seat. Hart talks to both parties, and at no point does he engage in any physical contact with the woman. Unfortunately, the story went viral with astounding speed. Hart was even a worldwide trending topic on Twitter last night. Today, he took to Instagram to set the record straight: He captioned the photo: “#LiveLoveLaugh ….. SMDH” For her part, Parrish hasn’t directly addressed the rumors, but she did post a pregnant selfie yesterday that seemed to be her way of brushing off the rumors. “Well H E L L O #WCW Much hasn’t really changed. I’m still in the gym 3-5 days a week and I feel GREAT! The BBB’s got a little bigger…Boobs,Butt,& Belly of course but I’ll take it! Thanks little guy!” Eniko wrote. Asked about wife and unborn son this week, Hart joked about possible names: “My wife would kill me if I said what she’s got going on,” the 38-year-old told E! 90 Day Fiance Feud? Paola Mayfield SHADES Anfisa Arkhipchenko!

Paola Mayfield and Russ aren’t exactly blissful — the  90 Day Fiance  couple’s relationship has had its ups and downs. As you might recall, conservative Russ took issue with  Paola Mayfield’s topless photos . After one bit of friction that the two experienced on camera, Paolo posted a photo of the two looking very happy. But … it  looks  like she’s trying to start a feud with another star of the show: Anfisa Arkhipchenko. Paola captioned the above photo with a reference to a scene from the latest episode, where her friend Juan had poked a little fun at Russ. “I’m sorry I didn’t back you up with @juan_a_palacio” That’s simple enough, right? An unnecessary apology (but maybe she just did it to save face after the episode?). But that wasn’t all that she has to say: “But you know I would never strike you.” That might seem like a strange or alarming phrase, right? Usually, that kind of denial is a huge red flag about someone’s relationship. But we don’t think that Paola was talking about their relationship at all. She was almost certainly shading her fellow  90 Day Fiance  star, Anfisa Arkhipchenko. Anfisa Arkhipchenko is perhaps best described as a “nightmare gold digger.” She’s Russian and she came to the US and married Jorge Garcia with the expectation that she would live like a princess on his wealth. And Anfisa is  probably  pretty enough to be someone’s trophy wife, right? To say that she’s been “disappointed” to learn that Jorge is in debt is an understatement. She’s not even subtle about the fact that she wants money. And Paola’s singling her out without even saying her name. As for the “I would never strike you,” line … Jorge and Anfisa sat down to negotiate a postnup. Because Anfisa doesn’t want to absorb Jorge’s debt. (Though she’s fine with spending his money) After the two of them are left alone to talk, they both get frustrated. Jorge suggests that, from the way that she’s acting, Anfisa might not be mature enough for this discussion. Instead of replying like an actual person, Anfisa tries to hit him in the face. Jorge deflects it with his arm, but that’s really not the point. Hitting somebody is assault. Hitting your spouse is domestic violence. (By the way, TLC aired the footage! Of what is clearly a crime!) Jorge has his own issues — lying about his finances, for starters. (Also, if she’s too immature to talk about finances, isn’t she too immature to marry, even if she is 21 years old?) But nobody needs to get hit. Paola was clearly referring to this super f–ked up woman and relationship. 90 Day Fiance  airs on TLC. TLC is the network that exposes the world to the Duggars, and thus to that unrepentant creep Josh Duggar. TLC is the network that airs  Kate Plus 8 , starring that absolute beast of a woman, Kate Gosselin. We guess that Anfisa Arkhipchenko must feel right at home among her fellow nightmares who should never be allowed around human beings or non-human animals. But TLC sure can pick ’em, huh? We don’t know that Paola was trying to start up a feud with Anfisa. But Anfisa is awful. Paola might have just been trying to use humor to deflect from what fans might see as her shortcoming by pointing out that Anfisa is immeasurably worse. She’s not wrong.
