How do we boycott BP?

Could we choose an other gas station to fill our tanks? Where do we go? Exxon? Shell? They are all EVIL! They are all destroying our world and we are part of the problem and always will be. Deliberately or not we are all accomplices until we do something about it. The core spirit of the Organic Legion's movement is to eradicate a problem, boycotting the source. Why wasting our time and effort to get a ban on plastic bags or stopping the next offshore/onshore oil drilling that will cause more environmental catastrophes when we could stop this altogether? Stop oil dependency and the oil monopoly now. Alternative, safe technologies exist and work effectively, enough to power every vehicle and every home in America and all over the world. Stop this EVIL now, they run the economy and our lives. They are contaminating our soil, our water and the future of our children and generations to come. We are the people, we are the almighty, we can change things. Let's unite and rise as one to stop this poison that is here to stay and this cruel greed. Do we really want to wait until everything turns to “black” to realize what's happening? WE hold a power, the power to change things once and for all. Nobody can't take that away from us! Sign the petition below: http://environment.change.org/petitions/view/no_more_drill_baby_drill Thank you for taking action by stopping the oil dependency and its monopoly on our economy, environment and our lives. Spread the word, change the WORLD! From OrganicLegion.org: http://organiclegion.org/pt/How-do-we-boycott-BP/blog.htm added by: lookatmypix

Royce Da 5’9" Hopes To ‘Showcase’ His Personality On New Mixtape

‘People listen to me and think I’m always so serious,’ he tells Mixtape Daily of fans’ misperceptions. By Shaheem Reid Royce Da 5’9 Photo: MTV News Don’t Sleep: Necessary Notables Mixtape : The Bar Exam 3: The Most Interesting Man in the World Headliners : Royce Da 5’9″ and DJ Whoo Kid Key Cameos : Kid Vishis on “Go Hard Pt. 1” and “Pt. 2,” Black Milk and Elzhi on “Real Hip-Hop” and Slaughterhouse on “Beamer, Benz or Bentley (ShadyMegaMix)” Essential Info : Royce Da 5’9″ has been known to indulge in a drink or two at times, but not even he could have guessed that he would be influenced by Dos Equis. The beer’s “Most Interesting Man in the World” ad campaign served as a catalyst for his new mixtape. “I was gonna call it Bar Exam 3: Multiple Personalities, ” Royce explained. “It shows different sides to me. Then I ran across that intro [of ‘The Most Interesting Man in the World’] on the Net. I just thought the sh– was hilarious. So it’s like I just switched up at the end. I called it that because I wanted to use those skits. I thought those skits were hilarious. It’s just that cut-and-dried.” 5’9″ kept the comedy going on a record called “I Hate Your Pants.” He sings — yes, sings — about his disdain for trousers that are too tight. “With this mixtape, I was trying to showcase my personality more,” Royce said. “People listen to me and think I’m always so serious, when actually I’m the exact opposite. I’m always joking around and drinking and having fun. I was trying to bring that across in this. I think I nailed that in ‘I Hate Your Pants.’ That’s an ongoing joke in the studio, about skinny jeans. We actually got something on wax that showed that. I did it quick. Two eight-bar verses and the hook. It took me longer to make the beat.” “Taxi Driver” is a conceptual track, on which the Detroit mic king is behind the wheel and alone with his thoughts until he picks up two passengers. “It’s a song I did a long time ago,” he explained. “I wanted to put it on The Bar Exam, because I felt it didn’t get the light it deserved. It’s like I’m driving in a taxi. I got two passengers in the car. One of the passengers is Tupac, one is Biggie. I drop ‘Pac off at the place he got killed. I drop Biggie at the place he got killed. Basically, we lost hip-hop when we lost these two. One of them is named ‘Hip’ and one is named ‘Hop.’ But it’s Biggie and ‘Pac.” Royce even mimics the two legends’ voices and deliveries on the record as he raps from their perspective. On “187 (Response),” Royce disses Saigon, responding to an interview from last year where Sai said Slaughterhouse could not make records. “I don’t have a problem with him,” Royce said of Saigon. “He just sparked a competitive nerve in me. It made me wanna compete. He said, ‘Them n—as can’t write no record.’ If you feel free enough to speak on somebody like that, I feel he should take that on the chin. I don’t feel it should be some kind of backlash. He said something, and I said something. I’m totally prepared to leave it right there.” Royce also said his record aimed at Saigon has nothing to do with Sai’s past problems with Joe Budden. “Joey is my man,” he said. “I make it my business to stay outta the sh– he has going on. Me and Saigon was cool. I was cool with Saigon before I got cool with Joey.” Royce said Slaughterhouse’s signing with Shady Records has been stuck in a web of red tape, but the deal is looking like it should be finalized in a matter of weeks. As for Royce’s solo LP, he’s not sure if that will be in the cards for Shady as well. Green Day Got Proudly ‘Pwned’ At Their Own ‘Rock Band’

‘I couldn’t even finish the song,’ Tre Cool laughs to MTV News. By James Montgomery Green Day Photo: MTV News Through all the “Green Day: Rock Band”-related stories about dye jobs and song selections we’ve written this week, there remains one topic we haven’t explored yet. And, to be honest, it’s a fairly pertinent one: Are the guys in Green Day actually good at playing their game? You would think the answer would be yes, considering they wrote the songs and all. But, oddly, you’d be wrong. “Well I did an interactive thing with some random ‘Rock Band’ players all throughout the world, and I got my ass kicked really bad,” drummer Tre Cool laughed. “I couldn’t even finish the song.” “Tre got pwned,” bassist Mike Dirnt laughed. “I did! I got pwned!” Cool shrugged. “Pwned like a newb.” So while they might not be great at the game, at least the guys in Green Day are all pros when it comes to gamer lingo. But what, exactly, was it about the game that they found so difficult? “For me, it’s really hard. I think I’d rather play the guitar on the game. The drums are really hard,” Cool said. “But what’s cool about the kit that you get is, you can put it on free-play mode and the practice mode, and you’ve got an electric drum set. So it’s kind of cool.” “That’s actually really cool,” Dirnt added. And the electric drum set has an added feature, one “Rock Band” developers probably never even dreamed of: the power to annoy. “You can jam around in your living room and piss off the neighbors,” Cool smiled. “Like I care about pissing off the neighbors.” MTV News is celebrating the release of “Green Day: Rock Band” with a week of special coverage. Diddy Calls Rick Ross ‘A Very Unique Artist, ‘ Applauds New Mixtape

‘That Albert Anastasia [EP] is up there to me as one of the hardest mixtapes in history,’ Diddy says. By Shaheem Reid Diddy Photo: Amy Sussman/Getty Images On Tuesday (June 8), Diddy gave Rick Ross yet another major co-sign. “That Albert Anastasia [EP] is up there to me as one of the hardest mixtapes in history,” Puff said during a Def Jam conference call with Ross and DJ Khaled. A bold statement, but on top of being an O.G. in the game, Diddy said, he’s also a connoisseur of hip-hop, so he felt very comfortable applauding Ross. “He doesn’t talk about the regular stuff you hear cats talking about now,” Diddy said. “Everything he talks about is from his soul and from his heart. He approaches the record from a real standpoint. You can tell he’s approaching it from an honest standpoint. The tone of his voice, I’ve always been wanting to work with artists that have a certain vocal tone. He sounds like a giant. He is a giant, and he has that personality. “He’s a very unique artist,” he continued. “He’s bigger than just an artist; he’s a brand. That’s one of the reasons I wanted to work with him, because I felt like we could do bigger and better things. Having worked with Biggie, somebody that also was talking about things from the streets — I’m not comparing him to Biggie, before we start going down that road, but I am saying that there are similarities in the mental approach of a record that I do have a familiarity with.” Over the weekend in Phoenix, 50 Cent weighed in on Diddy’s alliance with Ross and Nicki Minaj. He hinted that he felt Lil’ Kim was justified when she said Diddy should be “ashamed” of himself for working with Minaj. “It’s probably a little more irritating [for Lil’ Kim] to see Puffy stand next to Nicki Minaj and for him to say that Ross reminds him of Biggie,” 50 said in an interview with Power 98.3 FM. ” ‘Cause that’s desperation on his part, ’cause his music sucks. It’s bad, so he has to stay close to something else that has momentum for it to be all right” Diddy seems unfazed of any criticism he may get. He said Nicki Minaj is a hip-hop great, and during Tuesday’s conference call, he made it clear he’s riding with Rick Ross. “To me, how anybody ever wanna take it, he’s the Biggie of the South. Anybody can take it how they wanna take it,” Diddy said. “I heard his album. His album is a classic. I heard the Albert Anastasia ; it has six joints y’all [DJs] should be playing right now. … He has the most exciting music in the streets right now, and he’s one of the realest n—as.” Diddy and Ross belong to the new clique of artists dubbed “The Supreme Team.” “Supreme Team, Puff Daddy put a movement together,” Khaled said during the call. “A bunch of fly dudes getting together, getting money, making great music, keeping it 100 at all times. I’m honored to be a part of the movement. Puff Daddy, of course my right-hand Ricky Ross, Red Caf

Eminem’s Recovery Leaks Two Weeks Early

Rapper’s latest is officially due out on June 22. By Gil Kaufman Eminem’s Recovery Photo: Interscope It doesn’t matter if you’re a new kid on the block like Drake or a veteran like Eminem , chances are your new album is bound to leak early at some point. Marshall Mathers is the latest to fall to the leak plague, as his upcoming Recovery hit the Internet on Monday, two weeks before its June 22 official release date, and spread like wildfire. Fan forums immediately blew up with quick-take reviews on the rapper’s second album in as many years, raving about the many different sounds Slim Shady tries on over the course of the disc. The opening track, “Cold Wind Blows,” finds Em taking aim at some of his favorite targets, viciously daring haters to take him on while dropping references to Elton John, Michael Vick, Aquaman, Michael J. Fox and Mariah Carey before dipping into a sing-songy chorus, “I’m as cold as the cold wind … blows, bla bla bla blows.” He gets contemplative on the expansive acoustic ballad “Space Bound” and praises his second chances on the gospel stomper “Cinderella Man.” He also weaves his way around a gorgeous Rihanna chorus on the troubled-love ballad “Love the Way You Lie.” The leak comes less than a week after the online debut of the second song from the album, an unexpected collaboration with Pink called “Won’t Back Down.” The DJ Khalil-produced track finds Em dropping his usual verbal bombs, taking on all comers in his inimitable style. “Listen, garden tool/ Don’t make me introduce you to my power tool,” Em raps over Khalil’s droning organ chords. “You know the f—ing drill/ How you douche bags feel?/ Knowing you’re disposable, Summer’s Eve, Massengill.” Eminem spoke about his Recovery collaborations while in France on a promotional tour. Pink, Rihanna and Lil Wayne are all featured, a departure from Em’s previous projects, where the guest lists were usually limited to Shady or Aftermath artists. For “Won’t Back Down,” he explained, Pink was added to the track after it was completed. “When I did the song that I did with Pink, I laid my parts first and kind of heard her on the record and felt that she would smash this record,” Em said. Pink does her part with a fiery warning in the chorus: “You can sound the alarm, you can call out your guards/ You can fence in your yard, you can pull all the cards/ But I won’t back down, I won’t back down,” she sings. The video for “Not Afraid,” the album’s first single that’s been storming the charts, premiered on Sunday. In the dark clip directed by Richard Lee, the rapper stands on the ledge of a roof, slowly edging closer to the edge as he raps about coming out of a perilous time in his life. He’s able to pull back from the abyss and takes a walk through the streets of Newark ending up in a hall of mirrors where’s he’s forced to confront his reflection. ‘Last Airbender’ Clip Premieres On MTV Movie Awards

Footage, featuring Nicola Peltz and Jackson Rathbone, promises spectacular set-up for M. Night Shyamalan adaptation. By Todd Gilchrist Dev Patel in “The Last Airbender” Photo: Paramount Pictures Last year, M. Night Shyamalan took the helm of “The Last Airbender,” a live-action adaptation of Nickelodeon’s popular animated series “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” and a new clip from the film premiered on tonight’s MTV Movie Awards. While it remains to be seen whether the film will feature one of the writer/ director’s trademark twist endings, the footage fans are seeing promises nothing short of a spectacular set-up for an epic franchise. The clip opens with a shot of Katara (Nicola Peltz) and Sokka (“Twilight” star Jackson Rathbone) as they trudge through a snowy landscape. The pair emerges onto a frozen lake where something lurks ominously beneath them in the water below. After Sokka strikes the ice, a ball rises before them and a bolt of energy erupts from the top of it. Although it’s not entirely clear whether the Airbender himself pops out of that big ball of icy energy, as he lands center screen, a disembodied voice tells him, “Airbender, only you have the power to master all of the elements and save us all.” While such an observation would certainly offer anyone else an unwanted amount of pressure, Airbender promptly responds by kicking the tar out of seemingly everyone in his path, using the four elements — air, water, fire and earth — to dispatch adversaries and generally look like a total badass. And when those elements don’t do the job, Airbender’s got a freaking spear just for added measure. Of course, you’ll have to see if Airbender is truly the last of his kind, and perhaps more importantly, if he is the last man standing, when the movie arrives in theaters on July 2. But in the meantime, check out everything MTV has on “The Last Airbender,” as well as a lot of other new movies coming to theaters soon!
