Christian Audigier on Jon Gosselin: My Company Tanked Because of That Douche

The short lived bromance Jon Gosselin had with Ed Hardy and the founder of the clothing line that bears his name, Christian Audigier, is no longer. Gosselin and Audigier were best friends forever during the former’s reality show prime, but just like Jon’s marriage to Kate Gosselin , it ended poorly. Ed Hardy Hates Jon Gosselin They even vacationed together while planning a children’s clothing line, but that all changed quickly. In fact, Audigier blames Jon for a drop in sales. At least that’s the inference. He didn’t really get into his dislike for the man, but Ed Hardy hates him too because of his adverse impact on his business. Basically, after associating with Jon Gosselin and having their products branded synonymously with “douche,” profits for both Hardy and Audigier tanked. Ironically … may be Jon’s most positive contribution to society.

PETA Rips Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen Over $17K Fur Backpacks

PETA is ripping fashion designer duo Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen for using animal pelts to create their latest backpack, which retails for around $17,000. That’s not a typo. “What the Olsens lack in creativity, they try to make up for with shock value,” the animal rights group said in a statement regarding the pricey accessory. PETA protesters (seen here in 2008) have gone after the Olsen Twins for years . The backpack is a patchwork design made of various animal furs, a fact that has PETA livid with the twosome to the point of bitter name-calling. “If it looks like a troll and acts like a troll, it’s probably a Trollsen Twin – or somebody wearing one of their new totes,” the group continues. PETA calls on consumers not to purchase the products “which are made from the fur and skins of innocent animals” or anything by the Olsens. Ashley Olsen and Mary Kate Olsen, who jointly run The Row, captured the Womenswear Designer of the Year honors at the CFDA Fashion Awards in June. Woman Claims Apple Employee Refused To Sell Her Ipad After Learning That She Was From Iran Apparently all Ipad sales are NOT created equal… A 19-year-old woman in Alpharetta, Ga., claims that her local Apple store refused to sell her anything after she was heard speaking Farsi with her uncle while she was trying to buy an iPhone and iPad. “When we said ‘Farsi, I’m from Iran,’ he said, ‘I just can’t sell this to you. Our countries have bad relations,’” Sahar Sabet told WSB-TV. According to the report, the Apple store employee cited the company’s official policy, which prohibits the sale of their products to countries with which trade is prohibited by U.S. embargo. Source

Situation Pimp Slapped By Serious Apparel Company

“When tha pimp’s in da crib, drop it like it’s hot.” – Snoop Dogg The above quote means absolutely nothing, but The Situation from Jersey Shore is being sued for screwing over an apparel company called Serious Pimp, and Snoop apparently endorses some of their products … so there’s that. Serious Pimp is slapping Sitch with a lawsuit claiming the reality star made a deal to promote its t-shirts on the show, Facebook, Twitter and various other places. According to the lawsuit, Mike Sorrentino and his brother had the right to approve the t-shirt designs, but never said yay or nay. They just disappeared, allegedly. With the $25,000 advance he got. Serious Pimp planned on co-partnering with The Situation to make a bundle on the shirts, so they want that advance back as well as compensation for lost profit.
