Around 1:30 p.m. students at Fairview High School followed suit and walked out of their classrooms to signify their displeasure with the Orange GOP candidate. Lady GaGa Releases Trayvon Martin Tribute Song Lady GaGa’s new album, JOANNE is already a bit of a departure from the typical sounds she produces. In addition to her typical pop jams, GaGa decided to address Black Lives Matter and penned a tribute song for Trayvon Martin. During a recent interview with Beats 1 radio, GaGa spoke about the track, revealing that she felt like there was no way she couldn’t address “the epidemic of young African-Americans being murdered in this country .” “I was overwhelmed by the fact that people just stood around and didn’t do anything about it, and that the justice system continues to, over and over again, not seek justice for these families.” GaGa says even though she isn’t herself African-American, she felt that it was her duty to speak out and provide whatever comfort she can for her fans. “They tell me they drive in their cars, and if they hear a siren, there is a paranoia that runs through their body, that they freeze up, that they can’t think. This is a tremendous anxiety. This is something that I care about. This is something that has to stop, something that we all need to heal from.” …How can I not say something? Terricka Cromartie Posts Instagram Blaming Anthem Protest For Husband Being Cut Baby-makin’ baller Antonio Cromartie no longer has a job with the Indianapolis Colts and according to his wife Terricka, it’s because Antonio got his Colin Kaepernick on and the team wasn’t with the s#!ts. ESPN is reporting that Terricka Cromartie took to Instagram to air out her displeasure with Colts owner Jim Irsay’s comments about players who choose to use their professional platform to make social commentary. Here’s what he told the IndyStar yesterday: “I think it’s the wrong venue,” Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay told USA TODAY Sports. “It hasn’t been a positive thing. What we all have to be aware of as players, owners, PR people, equipment managers, is when the lights go on we are entertainment. We are being paid to put on a show. There are other places to express yourself.” In her now deleted Instagram post, here is what Terricka said about Irsay and her husband: “You are Nothing More than an Entertainer. Just Shut and do what we say. You have No rights as along as you are working for me.. there are other places for you to fight and stand for what you believe,” the post said. The post added: “One things for sure I know my husband was told Not to take a Knee and he went with his heart and he took one. And that cost him his Job.. and Clearly this Statement backs that up… Just a Paid To put on a show.” IndyStar Sports journalist Stephen Holder isn’t completely sold that the protest was the cause of Cromartie’s demise So, I'm not calling Cromartie's wife a liar, but I think there's a chance this is a stretch. NBA Star Vindicated In Sex Assault Trial NBA star Derrick Rose was found NOT guilty Wednesday in his federal gang rape trial – and is off the hook for more than $20 million in damages. A jury of six women and two men spent Wednesday deliberating on the contentious case before delivering their unanimous decision, capping off a two week trial that revealed graphic details about the New York Knick star’s sex life. Rose, along with friends Ryan Allen and Randall Hampton, were cleared of charges of sexual battery, trespassing and battery inside Los Angeles Federal Court. The accuser sued Rose for $21 million after she said he and the two friends broke into her apartment three years ago and took turns raping her while she was unconscious. Rose has maintained that the sex was consensual, and her suit was a money grab after he stopped speaking to her and wouldn’t reimburse her for sex toys. The newly-minted New York Knicks player is now expected to join his teammates for the rest of the season. Story is developing.
