North Carolina Teen Charged With Murder After Strangling His Wealthy Dad With Dog Leash

Source: George Doyle / Getty 16-year old Alexander Bishop was arrested on Friday for the murder of his real estate developer father, William Bishop, who was found strangled with a dog leash. Alexander initially staged his dad’s April 2018 death to appear as a suicide, telling Durham County police that he had found his dad unresponsive in their basement with a dog leash wrapped three times around his neck and the dog still attached. Dad was found dead with a dog leash on his neck. When police arrived at their North Carolina home, they found William in a chair unresponsive, without a leash around his neck. They also found 25 pieces of gold valued around $463,000 in his office. Bishop was rushed to the hospital and where he died three days later of stargulation. Forensic specialist went to the teens school after the death and searched his email and Iphone. They found some pretty suspicious info, including how to calculate the value of an estate and how to transfer bank accounts. On Friday, Alexander was arrested for the murder of his father. He will be tried as an adult.

Deplorable: Covington Teen Sues Washington Post For $250 million Over Nathan Phillips Coverage

Source: David Cliff/SOPA Images/LightRocket via Getty Images Nick Sandmann Suing The Washington Post Nick Sandmann, the teen seen smirking in that disturbing video of MAGA hat wearing children surrounding a Native American elder has filed a lawsuit. Sandmann and his attorneys claim that the Washington Post defamed him and “targeted and bullied” him with their coverage by publishing “a series of false and defamatory print and online articles.” The Hil reports that in the suit, lawyers claim Sandmann was “targeted” because of Washington Post’s “biased agenda” towards Cheeto In Chief. “The suit says that the newspaper wanted to “lead the charge against this child because he was a pawn in its political war against its political adversary.” The Post has responded and says they plan “to mount a vigorous defense.” Sandmann is seeking $50 million in compensatory damages and $200 million in punitive damages for the “permanent harm to his reputation.” SMH, of couuuuurse Sandmann’s suing. Too bad other children who are “defamed” don’t have the resources this MAGA hat wearer does.

Wanksta: NYPD Officer Under Investigation For Telling Cops To Shoot 50 Cent ‘On Sight’

Source: JC Olivera / Getty Many men wish death upon 50 Cent , including Commanding Officer Emanuel Gonzalez who reportedly ordered NYPD cops to shoot 50 on sight. Sources say that Gonzalez directed the hit last June during roll call at the 72nd Precinct when Fif was scheduled to attend an NYPD boxing match in the Bronx. New York Daily news reports: Gonzalez said, “Shoot him on sight.” Adding weight to the IAB investigation is that the alleged threat came at a time Gonzalez had an ongoing beef with the rapper, whose given name is Curtis Jackson. A month before the roll call, Gonzalez filed an aggravated harassment complaint, claiming 50 Cent threatened him on Instagram. [50 accused] Gonzalez of shaking down the owner of the Sunset Park club Love and Lust — one of 50 Cent’s favorite haunts — when he wrote “Get the strap,” a slang term for “get a gun.” Gonzalez, a 30-year veteran of the police force, insisted that he was just joking, but higher ups are currently investigating the situation. As for 50, his reps tell TMZ that “Mr. Jackson takes this threat very seriously and is consulting with his legal counsel regarding his options going forward.” Uh oh.

Source: Noel Hendrickson / Getty Man Accidentally Runs Over His Own Wife On Valentine’s Day Valentine’s Day can be a point of contention for a lot of relationships–but for one couple in Pennsylvania, things turned out to be a lot worse than just not getting the right flowers or agreeing on where to go to dinner. One husband has been left stunned after the events of a tragic accident in the Lehigh Valley after police say that he ran over his wife. The fatal incident happened around 3 p.m. on Thursday, on the 1200 block of Anna Marie Street in Palmer Township, a township in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. This all happened when 66-year-old Terry Mitchell let his wife Debra out of the vehicle, according to reports from police. After leaving the vehicle, she then fell to the ground, possibly due to a medical issue, while walking toward the back of the car. Police go on to say that after she fell, Debra was out of view of her husband and Mitchell ended up running her over her as he reversed and backed out of the driveway. She was then pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators have since ruled this tragedy to be an accident.

SMH: Neil deGrasse Tyson’s ‘Cosmos’ Premiere Delayed Following Sexual Harassment Allegations

Source: John Lamparski / Getty Neil deGrasse Tyson’s Cosmos Season 2 Gets Delayed It looks like things just aren’t in the cards right now for the second season of Neil deGrasse Tyson’s series,  Cosmos: Possible Worlds , to premiere on schedule. The science documentary series–which is hosted by Tyson– was set to premiere March 3 on both Fox and National Geographic, but has now been bumped amid investigations by the companies following sexual harassment allegations against the scientist from multiple different women. Repeats of Family Guy are going to be filling in for Possible Worlds in the time slots it was supposed to fill on March 3 and March 10, according to reports from Deadline . Neil deGrasse Tyson’s  Possible Worlds is a follow-up to his 2014 Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey , which won a whopping twelve Emmy Awards, including “Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series.” Trouble with his Cosmos series isn’t the only thing Tyson is facing amid these allegations, either. Just last month, the National Geographic Channel suspended Tyson’s show Star Talk mid-season once these same allegations came to light. “In order to allow the investigation to occur unimpeded we chose to hold new episodes of ‘Star Talk’ until it is complete,” a National Geographic spokesperson told Variety .

Cardi B’s deleted her Instagram in the wake of her Grammys win. Before Bodak Bardirella shut down her page she posted (and deleted) a BIG mad message to critics who think she’s undeserving of her Best Rap Album win. Not only that she called out BET for sending out that “Nicki Minaj’s getting dragged by her lace front” tweet in response to her trophy. “It’s not my style for people to put other people down to uplift somebody else, that’s not my style and that’s not what I’m with and I don’t support that,” said Cardi. “However, I been taking a lot of s*** today, I’m seeing a lot of bulls*** today and I saw a lot of s*** last night. And I’m sick of this s*** I worked hard for my motherf***g album.” According to Cardi, she had support last year over “Bodak Yellow” but suddenly she’s getting pushback. Not only that she recorded “Invasion of Privacy” while heavily pregnant with baby Kulture all while detractors claimed her career was over because she was with child. “I remember last year when I didn’t win for ‘Bodak Yellow,’ everybody was like, ‘Cardi got snubbed, Cardi got snubbed.’ Now this year’s a f****g problem?” she said. “My album went two-time platinum, my n***. And every chart that there was, my album was always top 10. Number one album as well. “I f***g worked my a** off, locked myself in the studio for three months, my n***, then went to sleep in my own bed, sometimes for four days straight, pregnant. Some songs couldn’t even get on the f*****g album because my nose was so f****g stuffy from my pregnancy. N****s couldn’t sleep, n***s couldn’t do s***. While everybody was harassing me, ‘You not gonna do it—we know you’re pregnant, your career is over!’” After the rant, Cardi’s IG went missing entirely and fans are reeling. The Saga Continues: Terry Crews Accuses National Enquirer’s Publisher Of Blackmailing Him

This all started when Jeff Bezos accused  The National Enquirer   of extortion, claiming that the tabloid leveraged the Amazon CEO’s nude pictures in hopes of stopping his investigation into the company’s motives. Quickly thereafter, acclaimed journalist Ronan Farrow alleged that he had faced similar extortion threats from the media company. Now, Terry Crews has also come forward to accuse American Media, Inc.   of trying to intimidate him to make him drop his lawsuit against WME agent Adam Venit. “This same company, AMI, tried to silence me in my lawsuit against WME and Adam Venit by fabricating stories of me with prostitutes—and even went so far as creating fake receipts,” Crews announced on Twitter. Both parties ended up settling in 2018 and Venit resigned from the company shortly after that. The actor is now alleging that while this lawsuit situation was going on, AMI threatened to publish fabricated accounts of Crews’ affiliation with prostitutes. Jeff Bezos recently announced that he opened a personally-funded investigation to determine how the  National Enquirer  obtained the explicit text messages he exchanged with his mistress. The mogul first claimed that the story may have been “politically motivated,” coinciding with Donald Trump’s deep-seated hatred of the Amazon CEO. Bezos also alleged that AMI threatened to release his nude photos should he continue investigating how they obtained them.
