Apparently, cigarettes are deadly in more ways than one. Not only do they cause cancer — they cause people to make poor decisions, like leaving a baby alone on a train. Cleveland Regional Transit Authority released surveillance video of a man stepping off a train to smoke a cigarette and then chasing after it when it leaves the station with his baby on board. WKYT reports: “The train’s driver learned about the baby on board before it arrived at the next station, which was just a minute away. RTA officials responded and quickly returned to the station where the father was reunited with the child. Hopefully the child’s mom takes the kid with her from now on. Sheesh.

In response to someone bringing up his name as a “great host” for next year’s ceremony, The Rock revealed that that exact plan was actually in the works for this year, but prior commitments ended up getting in the way; Turns out, the actor couldn’t take the gig because he would be too busy working on the sequel to Jumanji . “I was their first choice to host this year, and my goal was to make it the most fun and entertaining Oscars ever,” Johnson revealed. “We all tried hard, but couldn’t make it work since I’m shooting Jumanji . Source: VALERIE MACON / Getty Season 3 Of Atlanta Gets Delayed For A Second Time Fans were looking forward to the third season of FX’s Atlanta dropping in 2019–but unfortunately, it looks like we’re all going to have to wait a little bit longer. According to reports from The Hollywood Reporter , John Landgraf (the chief at FX) announced at the Television Critics Association winter press tour that the series is currently behind schedule. This announcement also means that the show will not be back in time for the 2019 Emmy contention window. John announced, “I don’t know whether we’ll have Atlanta or not. The writers are back working right now, thank God.” He continued on to say, “As you might imagine, Donald Glover is sort of the king of all media, and he just has had an incredibly complicated life. He’s had personal things he’s had to deal with, from injuries to other things I’d rather not say publicly that just have to do not with his personal life but his extended family,” Landgraf said, explaining the delay. “So I think one of the things that is just a reality of television today is you have to wait. We have so many things now that don’t cycle back on a regular basis…From my standpoint, I wish for the fans as well as for us that we could get everything back on an annual basis but, again, you just have to make a decision about quantity over quality at a certain point — and we’re just erring on the side of quality.” This isn’t the first time we’re hearing of a delay for the next season of the beloved show. Castmember Zazie Beetz hinted at the delay while promoting her new movie Wounds at Sundance last week. “Ideally we would be shooting now; that’s not happening,” she told IndieWire . Hopefully we won’t have to go all of 2019 without some new episodes of Atlanta , but it’s not looking good.

Since his arrest in November, he’s reportedly been spending thousands on personal security for his mother in the event that someone is looking o retaliate against him for turning into an informant. If you can recall, 6ix9ine pled guilty to 8 counts in addition to implicating members of the Nine Trey Bloods in multiple crimes. Tekashi was reportedly responsible for naming the alleged trigger man in the attempted shooting of Chief Keef (leading to an indictment). Tekashi’s attorney, Dawn Florio, tells TMZ; “6ix9ine has the means to pay for his family’s private security, so the government expects the money to come out of his pocket to protect his closest family members.” She says the government would step in if, at some point, Tekashi can’t afford the security. 6ix9ine is set to be sentenced next January, and his deal with prosecutors requires him to continue working with the feds.

The footage captures a woman laughing while pouring water on a 9-month-old girl asleep in her crib. The infant starts coughing until just seconds later, when another splash of water pours on the child’s nose and leads to both more coughs and some crying. “Payback for waking me up all kinda times of [the] night,” 33-year-old Caitlin Alyse Hardy wrote in a post that accompanied said video as she posted to her Facebook page. This is all according to the information the Sumter County, South Carolina, Sheriff Anthony Dennis tells PEOPLE . Several people who spotted the video once it went up alerted the sheriff’s office with their concerns, sending the link to the office’s website and to the sheriff personally, he recalls. “I didn’t think it was real at first,” he explained. When questioned, the suspect told investigators “she was joking or playing a game with the baby.” “We didn’t take it as a joke or some type of game she was playing with a 9-month-old,” he says. “We wanted to make sure the child was okay. Luckily, the child was okay, but on Wednesday, authorities arrested Hardy on a charge of cruelty to children for the January 29 incident. “Hardy did pour a bottle of water on a 9-month-old female infant while the infant was sleeping,” the police department’s statement alleges. “After being poured with water the second time, the infant woke up coughing. Hardy video recorded the incident and posted it on her Facebook page.” Hardy was booked and released from jail on Wednesday after posting a $1,500 bond, according to reports from TV station WIS in Columbia.
