Celebrity Apprentice Finale: Winner Bret Michaels’ 5 Most Unprofessional Moments

Color me shocked , boys and girls. What’s the secret to becoming Donald Trump’s trusted, uber-professional apprentice? Simple: Be the most (lovably) unprofessional contestant in Celebrity Apprentice history. Tah-dah! After the show’s giant finale and parade of arbitrary judging, Trump gave Bret Michaels the Celebrity Apprentice victory over runner-up Holly Robinson Peete for one ostensible reason: He was brave to attend the live finale just days after another staggering health setback . Look, I admire the hell out of Bret Michaels for going through with the taping, but does that mean he should’ve beaten Holly? After her record-high fund-raising and strong leadership? No way. However, I happen to love Bret Michaels, so let’s toast Trump’s newest yes-man with a retrospective of his most unprofessional Celebrity Apprentice moments.

Megan Fox to Michael Bay: You Can’t Fire Me, I Quit!

Considering Megan Fox compared Michael Bay to Hitler, it should come as no surprise that the dissolution of their relationship isn’t going very smoothly. After it was reported yesterday that Fox was fired from Transformers 3 — presumably so Bay could have an excuse to “interview” some supermodels — her reps took to People.com to set the record straight: “Megan Fox will not be starring in Transformers 3 . It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best.” And by “best,” of course she means “worst.” Skids and Mudflap could not be reached for comment. [ People]

Consequence Says Kanye West And Q-Tip Bring Him To A ‘Higher Level’

MC hopes to drop a single soon from Cons TV, co-produced by the two hip-hop heavyweights. By Shaheem Reid Kanye West and Consequence Photo: MTV News G.O.O.D. Music artist Consequence says he has another single coming soon. This one will be off his Cons TV album, tentatively slated for summer. “We have one or two joints me and Q-Tip gotta tweak, and we should be putting out the first joint very soon,” he said. “Before Memorial Day, we should have the next single.” Cons’ album is being produced by the unstoppable beat combination of Kanye West and Q-Tip . With his label CEO and legendary cousin on the boards, Consequence knows there is zero margin for error. “You gotta work,” he said. “You gotta work even harder, because the expectations of what the records should come out to be are on a higher level now than when you’re working with upstart producers. [Working with a] Joe Schmo, there’s no expectations. They haven’t established a lineage, they haven’t established a track record for greatness. When you have Grammy winners and hip-hop legends doing your record, the records have to be at an unequivocal high. You have to rise to the occasion of what the project is. If you don’t, they are still going to be who they are, which is great pressure. You just gotta hit a jumper in somebody’s face. You can’t settle for the two; you gotta hit the three when the buzzer is about to go off.” The Queens native said he kept his recording within the familiar confines of the Big Apple rather than going to Hawaii, where Kanye has been recording and producing for various other artists. “Everything I did for my record was done in New York. Me and Kanye worked out here for my record, and me and Q-Tip are finishing up here as well,” he explained. Consequence has the mixtape Movies on Demand out right now. The project features the single “Childish Games” which guest star Asher Roth. Do you think Consequence will make Kanye and Tip proud? Let us know in the comments! Lindsay Lohan’s Lawyer Says Arrest Warrant Is A ‘Misunderstanding’

Lindsay Lohan’s attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, released a statement on Saturday (March 14) about the warrant for the actress’ arrest, calling the situation a “misunderstanding.” Gibbons said the hearing “apparently has something to do with Ms. Lohan’s probation. We don’t know exactly what it’s about. The court contacted the defense directly, not us.” Unidentified sources reportedly told TMZ.com that the warrant was issued after Lohan failed to comply with the terms of her probation, specifically with regard to an alcohol-education program in which she is enrolled. TMZ also reported that police were called to Lohan’s girlfriend Samantha Ronson’s house after a disturbance involving a broken window was reported on Saturday, but left without apprehending Lohan. The actress reportedly spent Friday evening with friends at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, and then the group made a late-night visit to the house of Jack Nicholson. The Beverly Hills Police Department reportedly released the following statement regarding the warrant on Friday evening: “In response to media inquiries, [the] Beverly Hills Police Department is confirming a warrant was in fact issued today [March 13] for the arrest of Lindsay Lohan. The $50,000 warrant issued by the Beverly Hills Superior Court stems from a May 2007 arrest of Miss Lohan for DUI and hit-and-run. The circumstances leading to the issuance of the warrant by the court are not readily available at this time. It is our hope that Miss Lohan will surrender herself so that this matter will be resolved in a timely manner.” In August 2007, Lohan pleaded guilty to two counts of being under the influence of a controlled substance (cocaine), and no contest to two counts of driving with a blood-alcohol level above .08 percent and one count of reckless driving. She served 84 minutes in jail in November 2007 and was placed on three years probation and ordered to complete an 18-month alcohol education program. Rick Ross Says ‘Super High’ Video Is ‘Like A Flashback Of ‘Easy Rider’ ‘

‘It’s gonna look like a mini-movie as opposed to just a music video,’ co-star Ne-Yo says of the F. Gary Gray-directed clip. By Shaheem Reid Stacy Dash and Rick Ross Photo: MTV News Rick Ross is sitting on top of the world — in his new video for “Super High,” Ross, along with his lady, straddles his motorcyle on a mountain top. “Shout-out to F. Gary Gray,” Ross said recently on the set of the clip. “That’s my favorite director throughout film. I met him … Diddy introduced me to him one night. When I completed the record, I flew out to L.A. and met with him. I played [the track] for him. I gotta shout him out big time. … But he video is actually like flashback of [the movie] ‘Easy Rider’ — a bunch of homies hoggin’ the highway. We run across a beautiful young lady which happens to be Stacie Dash , and a dude — he’s a d—– bag. I end up snatching her and spending the rest of the evening with her, the way a boss should.” “It’s basically Ross and his gang riding around doing what they do,” guest star Ne-Yo said of the clip. “This is my first time working with F. Gary Gray. So far, so good. He’s a movie director, so everything is gonna have that cinematic edge to it. It’s gonna look like a mini-movie as opposed to just a music video.” Sure enough, Gray choreographed a scene were Ross and his road dawgs surround the sports vehicle being driven by Dash’s original beau and, of course, Ross got a performance scene as well, let his swagger shine in his custom-made leather jacket. In a later scene, Ross and Ne-Yo sit at a table together in a bar filled with tough guys and sexy ladies. While on set, Ne-Yo did say that the song has nothing to do with indulging in narcotics. “It’s just about feeling good,” The Grammy Award-winning singer clarified. “Doing things that maybe regular people can’t do. You work hard so you get to play hard.” Ross explained that he was inspired to write the record while looking down at Central Park from Diddy’s penthouse in Manhattan. “The concept actually came from me and Diddy — we was running around New York City one night, went back to his penthouse and that’s where the actual term ‘super high’ comes from,” Ross offered. “It’s 5 o’clock in the morning. I’m just burning, I’m thinking. [Diddy] turned on ‘Purple Rain,’ Prince. A few homies were in there — D Roc, me and him reminiscing, talking about Biggie. After the conversation I just stopped watching the movie and walked to the huge window. And I was reflecting like, ‘Wow.’ It had me reflecting on how far I came as a artist and as a person. “When you trying to get better as an artist, a lot of times we coming from the streets. We’re flawed in a lot of ways. We trying to get better as people,” he explained. “I was reflecting on that, realizing how significant the title Teflon Don is, even though that was one of my first rap names and one of the first tattoos I got. I just came with the whole first verse looking out the view: ‘From my n—a Diddy view, I think I see his vision too/ ‘Purple Rain,’ over Central Park, chillin’ with my goons.’ I was just capturing them moments and putting it over beats.” Teflon Don is slated to drop on June 29 and Diddy, Kanye West and Jay-Z have all contributed to the project. Taylor Momsen Says Pretty Reckless Album Is ‘Sex, Drugs And Religion’

‘It’s not a concept record, unless you consider life a concept,’ she tells MTV News of yet-untitled LP. By James Montgomery Taylor Momsen Photo: MTV News EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey — Taylor Momsen is quickly learning that making the transition from TV star to snarling rock princess isn’t as easy as she’d imagined. In addition to having to win over fickle audiences on this summer’s Warped Tour — the type of crowds that don’t exactly take kindly to “actor-slash-musicians” — and make it clear to “Gossip Girl” fans that her band, the Pretty Reckless, isn’t just another cookie-cutter pop project, she’s already having to undo the damage from a quote she gave last month to Entertainment Weekly, in which she stated: “I don’t wanna be Courtney Love — I wanna be Kurt Cobain.” It hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing, to be honest. So really, at this point, all she wants to do is get the Pretty Reckless’ debut album in stores — and then, well, she’ll just let the chips fall where they may. “I want the record out so people can hear it. I’m not a pop artist. It’s absolutely a rock record, and I get that people probably aren’t expecting that, but, buy the record and check it out,” Momsen told MTV News on Saturday at the Bamboozle festival. “If you like loud music, you’ll like it. Hopefully. It’s very loud. If you’re not scared of guitars screaming at you and a 16-year-old girl yelling at you, then you’ll like the record.” According to Momsen, the yet-untitled album (which she co-wrote with Pretty Reckless guitarist Ben Phillips) will finally see the light of day “sometime this summer.” And, to be quite honest, that date can’t come soon enough — because she really wants to stop talking about what it will sound like and let the songs speak for themselves. “It’s a record about life. It focuses on all the negatives — and the positives — of life, but it’s not ‘Go to a club and dance.’ It’s not an escape record,” she said. “It’s absolutely a record to confront your problems and get over them. … It’s death, love, rock and roll, sex, drugs and religion; it covers all bases of life. It’s not a concept record, unless you consider life a concept.” Momsen said some of her favorite tracks on the album include “Century Gone,” “My Medicine,” “Light Me Up” and “Since You’re Gone,” not to mention the first single, “Make Me Wanna Die” (which was released on the “Kick-Ass” soundtrack). The Reckless have even shot a video for the song, directed by Meiert Avis, who’s worked with everyone from U2 to Paramore. And according to Momsen, it’s a pretty, uh, “cheery” affair. “It’s for the song ‘Make Me Wanna Die,’ so to try and emulate kind of an epic-y song that’s almost like a film, it was a challenge to come up with a treatment,” she said. “So I guess we sort of decided to make it like a death march. You can’t live anymore in this world, and you’re on your way to your death, and you’re seeing everything you’re passing, and stripping yourself of your belongings on your way to your grave.” Momsen said the video will be released before the Reckless hit the road on the Warped Tour, which kicks off June 25 in Carson, California. And, yes, she’s looking forward to facing the crowds — and changing them from cynics into believers. If she doesn’t pass out from the heat, that is. “I’ll remember not to wear a leather jacket onstage next time,” she laughed. “I learned that today [at the Bamboozle], because it was so hot that I almost puked onstage.” Are you excited to hear the Pretty Reckless album? Plies Thanks Young Jeezy For The ‘Opportunity’ To Collaborate

‘It was my job to deliver him what I call an ‘antique’ verse,’ Plies tells Mixtape Daily of ‘Lose My Mind.’ By Shaheem Reid Plies Photo: Rahman Dukes/MTV News Celebrity Favorites: Plies Plies and Young Jeezy have an obvious respect for each other. If you know either one of the Southern street champs, you know they won’t do collaborations with just anybody. Plies just released the song “Look Like,” featuring Jeezy and Fabolous, which comes on the heels of the underground record “So Bad” that leaked last year and the Snowman’s current club anthem “Lose My Mind.” “For me, bruh, to have an opportunity to create the situation I created with my brother and to have an artist from a record-selling standpoint and accomplish what the Snowman accomplished and to reach out to us and allow us to know there was a situation he wanted us to be a part of, it speaks a lot to what we gained and built in this business,” Plies said of being on “Lose My Mind.” “It speaks a lot of him as a person. A lot of times in this game, a lot of cats can respect you and be scared to show you they respect you. I take my hat to him for it. It was my job to deliver him what I call an ‘antique’ verse and watch the record respond out of the gate like it is in the clubs and in the streets. I think we got a hell of a situation. “He hit me the other day, and I told him he has a song that I consider to be a street antique,” Plies added. “To pick and choose the records we do is the most important thing. I always told myself from day one: I’ll never be a music whore when it came to this business. I always wanted to make sure I did in my heart what I felt was the right things to do. To get myself in a financial space where I don’t have to make desperate decisions, I feel we accomplished that thus far. I’m gonna try to continue to make more right moves than wrong moves.” Although the version of “Hey Daddy (Daddy’s Home)” that appeared on Raymond v. Raymond doesn’t feature Plies’ verse that rocked on radio this winter, the Florida native didn’t have anything negative to say about working with Usher. “It was good,” Plies said about the experience. “I was on my way to New York. My brother actually got the call. They say they needed the record back in a couple of hours. I didn’t hear the record. My brother, he didn’t have to let me hear it. He said, ‘It’s a go, bruh.’ I got the record, they called back, said they needed it in an hour. Ran to the studio, had my assistant push my flight back. We heard the record; we felt the record was great.” For other artists featured in Mixtape Daily, check out Mixtape Daily Headlines or follow the Mixtape Daily team on Twitter: @shaheemreid and @mongosladenyc .
