On the next episode of “Love and Hip-Hop” (airing at its new time on Monday Night’s at 8pm) singer Olivia gets a rude awakening from Sony Music A&R Wayne Williams about her recording career. After Olivia says that her last song “December” did “really well” Wayne totals up all of the radio spins she received on the song and had to give her hard dose of reality. “It clearly shows the record wasn’t a hit,that’s important for you to know,” he says bluntly. “2,767 spins all together, that’s not a lot. If I go into my label meeting and I say I’ve got Olivia their eyes are gonna roll.” We guess those five million views of the video on Youtube don’t count? My name’s Melissa. My Bieber Experience took place on November 23, 2011. As a lot of you know, that was the day of the Today Show in NYC. My friend Mikaela and I had fan passes (which allow you to be let in first) so we were so pumped that we’d be up close to Justin! We went to wait on line at 9 PM the day before ( in total it was 11 hours ) in the pouring rain, only to come to the leaders or whatever of the Today show letting in General Admission before us. We were ALL the way in the back and I couldn’t see anything so we left. Later on in the day, my friend got us an opportunity to meet Justin at a private meet & greet before the recording of the tree lighting. We rushed home, got ready and went to the meet & greet. We waited outside the garage of the place hoping maybe he’d stop and we’d get more than one picture with him, but he didn’t stop. It was still raining, so my hair got all wet and I didn’t look as great as I wanted to. Anyways, we went to the meet & greet with about 30 other people, maybe less and Justin looked FLAWLESS. We were last in line so we had to wait a little bit to get to meet him. It was my turn and I walked up to Justin. He said, “Hey!” and hugged me. I did the same back. Then I told him, “Your hair looks so good like this” and he was like, “Oh yeah? Is it the best it’s ever been?” and I was like “Yeah!” We took a hugging picture! I turned and looked at him and was like, “You literally look so good” and he was like, “You look so good” and kissed me on the cheek! Out of all my past experiences, this is BY FAR the greatest one. But a high school yearbook of Mariah Yeater has allegedly surfaced, giving the public its first view of the woman who claims to be the mother of Justin Bieber’s three-month old son. Here it is: To recap: Yeater is featured in this week’s issue of Star Magazine. She has sued Bieber for child support , alleging that he took her into a bathroom on October 25, 2010 after a concert in Los Angeles and, in her words, said he wanted to “f-ck the sh-it” out of her.” They proceeded to have 30 seconds of unprotected intercourse. Michael Lohan is still cooling his rear end in solitary confinement in a Florida jail after being denied bail last weekend, but he has been allowed to make calls. Collect calls. Which people apparently don’t answer. A recording of a call he attempted to place to one of his many flames – Kim Granatelle, from The Real Housewives of New Jersey – was obtained this morning. Michael Lohan Collect Call She didn’t actually answer the phone and let the call go to her voicemail. Probably wise. Mike is in solitary for his repeated harassment of ex Kate Major. “Kim has spoken with Michael who told her he was in a lot of pain,” said Kim’s friend , Tom Murro, who shared the recording (hopefully with her knowledge). Keep in mind that he’s in pain from jumping off a balcony and landing in a freaking tree while attempting to avoid the cops. Not prime sympathy material. In an ironic twist, Michael and daughter Lindsay Lohan may be in jail at the same time, albeit on different coasts. LiLo must turn herself in by next week. She’ll likely get sprung faster , however, since she has better lawyers. And isn’t charged with injuring or threatening to kill someone, or resisting arrest.

‘You’ve heard the Lone Ranger’s story; you just haven’t heard it from this guy,’ Gore Verbinski tells MTV News. By Kara Warner Gore Verbinski Photo: MTV News Now that Disney, Gore Verbinski and Johnny Depp have ironed out most of the budget kinks surrounding their production of ” The Lone Ranger ,” we can all rest easy that the masked man and his trusty sidekick Tonto are headed to the big screen soon. When MTV News caught up with Verbinski at the Hollywood Awards Gala last night, where his quirky animated film “Rango” received the Hollywood Animation Award, we asked how he was feeling about the film and what his plans are for the adaptation. “I feel great. We’re not shooting a Western in the middle of winter; the whole thing is pushed into a more reasonable time of year, so now we have to go make the movie,” Verbinski said, speaking to the film’s new May 31, 2013, release date. “There’s been a lot of talk. Hopefully in a year and a half we’ll have something we can talk about.” Verbinski went on to say that he’s been hard at work on the screenplay for two years and that the central character is not the Ranger. “It’s all built around Tonto,” he said. “You’ve heard the Lone Ranger’s story; you just haven’t heard it from this guy. He was there.” Depp has already teased that their take on the beloved duo’s western adventures will be “interesting,” to say the least. “I like the character. I think I have interesting plans for the character, and I think the film itself could be entertaining and very funny,” he said. “But also I like the idea of having the opportunity to make fun of the idea of the Indian as a sidekick — which has always been [the case] throughout the history of Hollywood. The Native American has always been a second-class, third-class, fourth-class citizen, and I don’t see Tonto that way at all. Jason Aldean will also hit the stage when this year’s nominees are announced. Lady Gaga has been tapped to perform at “The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! — Countdown to Music’s Biggest Night,” airing next month. She’ll be joined by country star Jason Aldean, who will also perform at the fourth annual event. The show, which takes place November 30 at the Nokia Theatre in L.A., will once again be hosted by LL Cool J. It will air on CBS at 10 p.m. In addition to performances from Aldean, Gaga and others who have yet to be announced, nominees in several of the categories will be announced at the show. The Grammys air live on February 12. This certainly isn’t Gaga’s first time at the Grammy rodeo. She’s won five awards in the past, including trophies for Best Short Form Music Video and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for “Bad Romance,” as well as Best Pop Vocal Album for The Fame Monster, Best Dance Recording for “Poker Face” and Best Electronic/Dance Album for her debut album, The Fame. Last year, Gaga made headlines when she appeared on the red carpet in an egg and emerged in yolk-colored clothes to perform “Born This Way.” She previously performed with Elton John in 2010. Aldean has not previously been nominated for any Grammy Awards. While nominees for the show will be announced that night, it should be noted that both Gaga and Aldean are eligible.
