No rest for the dead SMH A white supremacist hacker says he’s broken into Martin’s email and social networking accounts, and leaked his private Facebook messages: The list included login details for Martin’s Gmail, Yahoo, MySpace, and Twitter accounts. A source who came across the 4chan post when it was live was able to use the information to log onto Martin’s Gmail account Tuesday night. Our source panicked upon seeing that trolls had started using the account to send emails under Martin’s name, and deleted the account. (An email sent to Martin’s Gmail address bounced back today; Martin’s Twitter account has also been deactivated. His MySpace page is still up, showing that the last login was Tuesday.) In addition to the Facebook messages, Klanklannon posted a list of usernames and passwords for Martin’s social media and email accounts as proof of his exploits. All of the passwords had been changed to racist slurs. On 4chan, Klanklannon made clear their intention to smear Trayvon. Klanklannon introduces the post with, “Today /pol/, tomorrow CNN.” One 4chan user told us Klanklannon had been attempting to break into Martin’s accounts for days, posting periodic updates to the board. “Where did all the liberals go?,” Klanklannon taunted after posting his slides. “Did they run off because they can’t handle the facts?” But Klanklannon included none of Martin’s emails in his leak, because the picture they paint is of a normal high school junior preparing for college. A screenshot of Trayvon’s Gmail inbox our source provided us is heartbreaking. Martin apparently used his Gmail account for his college search, and it’s filled with emails about upcoming SAT tests and scholarship applications. (“Trayvon, now is the best time to take the SATs!”) One email included the results of a career aptitude test, our source said. Last week’s Lohan-hosted episode scored bigger ratings but fewer laughs. By Gil Kaufman Tom Hanks and Jonah Hill on “Saturday Night Live” Photo: NBC The sketches were mostly funnier, Tom Hanks swung by to show off one of his two Oscar trophies and Stefon was in the house to giggle his way through another classic list of nightlife tips (seriously, google “hoombas”). Plus there was a sure-to-be-classic-but-so-wrong sketch about a scientist touting his breakthrough teaching an ape to talk that did not go the way anyone intended. In short, Jonah Hill had a pretty good night hosting “Saturday Night Live” over the weekend, but according to the Hollywood Reporter , he couldn’t quite reach the ratings heights set last weekend by Lindsay Lohan. The magazine reported that the Hill episode, which featured two songs by the Shins, drew a 4.3 rating and a 2.6 rating in the 18-49 demo, which was down 21 percent from Lohan’s turn last week. Of course, Lohan’s much-hyped return to the “SNL” stage was eagerly anticipated, but mostly for the curiosity factor of whether the fallen actress could pull it off. Critics savaged her stiff acting and obvious cue-card reading. But Hill was looser on his episode, poking fun at himself in a funny cold open about his wild awards-show run and Oscar nomination for “Moneyball” in which he claimed he was still a regular guy, only to treat his pals at “SNL” with contempt and actor-y imperiousness. The “21 Jump Street” star reprised his obnoxious six-year-old character Adam Grossman, who savaged his dad’s J-Date girlfriend during a tense Benihana dinner and took an endless barrage of tennis balls to the crotch in a painful digital short. A Liza Minnelli sketch fell flat, but people are probably going to still be scratching their heads all week about the Brutus sketch in which Hill was exposed as a scientist who taught an ape how to talk, only to be outed as a pervert by said ape. The highlight, though, was what seemed like a throwaway sketch at the end when Hill’s character hires a string quartet to serenade his wife on their anniversary, but then grabs the mic and starts inexplicably rapping to Coolio’s dead homie homage “C U When U Get There.” Co-star Kristen Wiig’s character was pissed at first, but when she finally got on board the big smile on Wiig’s face and the rest of the cast’s obvious delight saved what could have been a lame, throwaway bit. The Shins performed two new songs, including the single “Simple Song” and “It’s Only Life.”

By Gil Kaufman Mitt Romney talks to supporters in Florida Photo: Gil Kaufman/ Getty Images DUNEDIN, Florida — “How many times have we heard this song already?” That’s what a beat reporter who’s been traveling with the Mitt Romney campaign said Monday afternoon (January 30) at the day’s second campaign stop in Florida. With less than 24 hours to go before Tuesday’s primary , Romney was about to take the stage to the strains of one of his signature warm-up songs, Toby Keith’s “Made in America,” and the press corps knew what was going to happen next with their notebooks closed. “I’m gonna wake up in the middle of the night singing it,” the reporter sighed as the crowd in Pioneer Park filed in on a picture-perfect winter day. But for the writers and camera people slogging it out on the trail, it was “Groundhog Day” all over again: new town, same routine. While the patriotic country tune kept pumping, the crowd of several hundred suddenly turned around en masse as Romney’s bus pulled up about 15 minutes late. It seems that like college parties, for presidential candidates, it’s all about showing up just a bit late — and making a cool entrance. Fittingly, Romney referred to the Obama administration as the “groundhog presidency,” because, the former Massachusetts governor said, “He keeps saying the same thing, but nothing ever changes.” Romney talked about the trips he used to take with his family as a child — including a visit to Florida’s Cypress Gardens — but you could feel the press tuning out as they waited for the obligatory recitation of the candidate’s favorite lines from “America the Beautiful.” Following a loss in South Carolina last week, Romney was making his final appearances before Tuesday’s crucial Florida vote and he seemed loose and spirited, perhaps thanks to the comfortable lead he opened up against rival Newt Gingrich in the polls as the primary approached. Plenty of questions surround the strange Casey Anthony video diary, which mysteriously surfaced online a day ago, but two things are crystal clear: 1. Everyone’s talking about it, and 2. The whole thing is bizarre. No one seems to know why Anthony would record the thing, but even more strange is the lack of information regarding its release and Casey’s role in that. It almost magically appeared in the Facebook ether without explanation, even by the person who posted it. Even that anonymous person pleads ignorance. Casey Anthony Video Diary The video is taken in mirror image, thus making it harder to pinpoint her location, and the audio cuts in and out throughout, which may indicate editing. Some think it was released by Casey Anthony , unintentionally or intentionally, only to be yanked offline quickly, but not before one person discovered it. Others, chiefly Anthony’s attorney Cheney Mason, feel her computer was broken into by a sophisticated hacker. Mason told the Today Show as much: “If we find out who did it and how they did it, then they are going to be, I hope, answering to state and federal law enforcement agencies,” he said. Meanwhile, the original YouTube poster , who claims he didn’t steal it, spoke to E! News about how he got his hands on it … and is extremely vague. “I checked Facebook one day and I had a message saying, ‘I have some things that you might be interested in and I trust you with it,'” the poster said. He would not reveal his name for obvious reasons. Adding that he was sent the video by an unnamed acquaintance, he says, “They gave me the video because they trusted me with the video and the pictures.” “They knew I would not try and make money off it. And if it did leak onto the Internet, they would be authentic and that they were not fake Caseys.” The poster said before releasing it on YouTube, he blocked out names of specific people Casey mentioned before posting it onto his channel as “unlisted.” Asked why he released the clip at all, the poster said he simply wanted “Casey Anthony supporters to see that the secretive 25-year-old “is happy.” Casey Anthony has supporters? And despite the viral spread of the footage that he made possible, the poster insisted that Casey never intended the video for public consumption. “Casey did not want people to see these videos. Cheney Mason, her lawyer, says that Casey is doing the video diaries as a form of therapy.” “She has nobody. She has her dog and her webcam.” And yes, that was video diaries, plural. The poster confirmed he was in possession of a second video of Casey but does not plan on releasing it. The first video was up for four minutes before, the guy says, the Facebook group The People Against ‘We Support Casey Anthony’ found and reposted it. That is the alleged source of the widespread leak. “I did not mean for this to happen. I wish it would go away,” the poster said. “It snowballed out of control. I feel sorry for her because the media is ripping her and the video apart. They need to let the girl live. I respect the constitution and she was found not guilty.” The poster clarified that he does not know and has never met or been in contact with Casey Anthony, but claimed to know that Anthony has since altered her physical appearance from the blond bob and glasses look she had in the video.
