Source: RapidEye / Getty Woman Kills Escaped Prison Inmate Who Broke Into Her House A couple of inmates decided to flee a South Carolina prison this week , one was recaptured and the other was killed by a startled woman in her nightgown. According to a Daily News report, two men, Bruce McLaughlin Jr. and Timothy Cleveland Dill, beat up two guards at the Pickens County Prison and then escaped around 2:40 a.m., Pickens County Sheriff Rick Clark said at a press conference. Dill was caught about 25 minutes later but McLaughlin evaded authorities and kicked in the rear door of a local home, eventually meeting his maker. Source: (Pickens County Sheriff’s Office) / (Pickens County Sheriff’s Office) The woman, who has not been identified, was home alone and said McLaughlin stole a foot-long knife-sharpening tool from her kitchen, then headed to her bedroom. She responded by shooting him in the head, Clark said. “This was a big guy. If she hadn’t had a weapon, there’s no telling what would have happened,” he said at the press conference. “I gave her a big hug. I told her how proud I was of her.” Clark said that the woman had a concealed weapons permit and called it a “shining example” of the importance of gun ownership. “She came out on the good on this end and the other guy, the bad guy, didn’t,” he said. McLaughlin was awaiting trial for first-degree burglary and grand larceny, while Dill had been charged with criminal sexual conduct.

Us too but on this episode of Extra Butter with Xilla Valentine we go inside the movie Robin Hood starring Jamie Foxx, Taren Egerton and Jamie Dornan. While this isn’t a modern update of Robin Hood it is told like you never seen before. Think of Batman but set in the dark ages. Taren plays Robin, Lord of Loxley who gets sent to war right after finding the love of his life who introduces him to the concept of taking from the rich and giving to the poor. Years pass and he comes back home a war-hardened Crusader only to find his palace in Loxley a shell of it’s former self. While looking for his once wife he runs into a Moorish commander played by Jamie Foxx to mount an audacious revolt against the corrupt English crown and the Sheriff of Nottingham in what is billed as a thrilling action-adventure packed with gritty battlefield exploits, mind-blowing fight choreography, and some sick arrow work. During our conversation, I asked Jamie Foxx if he could rob one of his family friends and give their money to the poor who would it be? “Floyd, I’d rob Floyd! I know where Floyd going to be!” As he burst into a spot on impression of the Money Team CEO and the best pound for pound boxer in the world. Jamie continues by pulling Taren into this hypothetical robbery plot, “We would both have to rob Floyd. Floyd has so much. Floyd would pull out a 40 million dollar check. It’s crazy.” Words don’t do it justice you really need to watch the video which is playing above. We also chatted about Rocketman the Elton John biopic that has it’s star Taren Egerton freaking out until he remembered a mantra and helped him out tremendously. Taren said, “In the run up to Rocketman I was slightly freaking out about it and someone just said to me ‘stay in the day.’ Stay in the day is a really good phrase I think because one, it rhymes. Two because you can’t tackle the whole beast. If you think about the whole beast you’re going to freak yourself out. Whereas if you chop off a leg and deal with that, then take a tail… You know you got to stay in the day.” Jamie loved the mantra going on to say he took a similar approach of being prepared for his movie Spawn as he did with Robin Hood which is a fun flick that hits theaters everywhere Thanksgiving.

The previous sheriff, Michael Saudino, left the department mired in scandal upon his resignation in September when tapes were released him making extremely racist and homophobic comments. Additionally, there are a mounting pile of lawsuits against the police department and bitter division among officers and unions. Congrats, sir. Now get to work.
Diddy has spoken out for the first time since the stunning death of Kim Porter . As previously reported, Porter passed away last week for unknown reasons. She had been suffering from pneumonia for several weeks and had called her doctor the day before her death because she was not feeling well. At this time, however, we cannot say for certain what caused the passing of the 47-year old actress and model, who dated Diddy off and on for 13 years and who was the mother to three of his kids. According to a 911 call, Porter was in “cardiac arrest” prior to paramedics arriving at her home. She was pronounded dead at the scene. We’ve heard from many sources in the time since, all explaining how close Diddy and Porter remained after their final break-up in 2007 and all describing Diddy as devastated and heartbroken. But, as we said, this is the first time we’ve heard from Diddy on the subject. “For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven’t,” the music mogul wrote on Saturday, alongside a throwback video of the pair posing together for a pregnancy photoshoot. He continued: “I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much. “Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship. “We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER SHIT!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love.” This is a screen shot from the aforementioned video Diddy posted: Diddy and Porter were on such good terms after they split over a decade ago that they never formalized a custody arrangement. They were able to work everything out on friendly and flexible terms. “He and Kim were still very close friends and co-parents even though their romantic relationship didn’t work,” a People Magazine source says. “They were still a family.” The pair were parents of twin girls born in 2006 and a son born in 1998. Porter, meanwhile, was also the mother of another son from another relationship. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Porter’s death in a statement explaining that officers responded to a death investigation at 11:40 a.m. local time in Toluca Lake, California. Once they arrived, they found a female unresponsive at the residence. Her cause of death remains undetermined at this time. Diddy and Porter started dating in the 1990s and ended for good in 2007. Their kids include: Christian, 20, and 11-year-old twin daughters D’Lila Star and Jessie James. Additionally, Combs raised Porter’s eldest child, Quincy, 27. Another day, another viral mugshot… Charles Dion McDowell Reacts To His Mugshot Going Viral The man whose peculiar mugshot went viral this week is free. In case you’re unaware, Charles Dion McDowell was highlighted on Florida’s Escambia County Sheriff’s Office for their weekly “Wheel of Fugitives” post and the reactions were brutal. While the Sheriff’s Office was seriously asking social media followers to track down their latest fugitive, people couldn’t stop trolling McDowell’s thick-throated mugshot with comments like; “A ll this neckativity isn’t right at all,” “ His neck is still at LARGE!!!” and “Da t boy can drink peanut butter.” Charles, who was charged with possession of meth and cocaine and arrested for possession of drug equipment and fleeing police, is now free and responding to the vicious internet slander. “Free man, shout out to ever female that gave me a chance,” said Charles in a video of him leaving jail. “F*** them n***s, I ain’t never worried about n****s. This is the first time I’ve ever commented on something—there was just so many [comments].” His statement isn’t helping, however, the post on the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office page has garnered 294,000 comments and over 260,000 shares. Ice Cube doesn't actually mention Donald Trump by name in his new song. But the track is called “Arrest The President.” And the lyrics are a not-so-subtle jab at Trump, and strongly suggest that his days in office are numbered. Ice Cube's lyrics, to be clear, do not call for any violence against Donald Trump or his administration. Rather, “Arrest The President” calls for exactly that — the arrest of POTUS. “Let’s meet at the White House, run in and turn the lights out, they treat it like a trap house,” Ice Cube suggests. “Arrest the president… You got the evidence,” he sings. He makes no secret of why Trump deserves to be arrested. “That n—- is Russian intelligence,” the lyrics accuse. “Did you know the new white was orange?” Ice Cube quips during the song. He then accuses: “Boy, you're showing your horns.” This is a reference to Trump's behavior, from his overt racism to his heartless policies, being something Ice Cube would expect from a devil. “Who you elected is so septic,” Ice Cube says, putting Trump's voters themselves on blast. He also takes aim at Trump's habit of stating provable lies as if they were fact. “So full of s–t,” Ice Cube says. “I can't accept it.” Ice Cube has made his thoughts on Trump clear since before the election. In August of 2017, an absurd rumor was going around suggesting that Ice Cube had endorsed Trump's candidacy. The rapper took to Twitter to make certain that no one could believe this absurd rumor. “I will never endorse a mothaf–ka like Donald Trump!” Ice Cube clarified. “EVER!!!” Some would remain silent on such rumors, hoping to avoid controversy by speaking out one way or the other. Ice Cube did not want anyone mistaking him for a Trump supporter. Ice Cube is hardly alone. When Snoop Dogg peppered his art with references to Trump's death , he faced backlash from Trump's fans. He also faced hand-wringing from people who dislike Trump but are, frankly, huge weenies who worry about optics more than anything else. ice Cube did not backstab Snoop, and instead voiced his support. “Freedom of speech,” he cited in defense of his friend and his friend's controversial music and imagery. Notably, Ice Cube's lyrics “play it safe” in a way unlikely to earn him a visit from Secret Service. Ice Cube may have produced this song simply to vent about the hellish nightmare-world that we all occupy. More cynically, perhaps he just wanted some cash and some good press from people who hate Trump as much as he does. It's also possible that he is hoping that this song will one day be immortalized in one or more films documenting the rise and fall of Donald Trump. You know, if Johnny Cash's “When The Man Comes Around” doesn't quite fit a scene, maybe “Arrest The President” will. It's sure to be a little on the nose — but there have been other, very spot-on songs that have been used years or even decades later in films about the events they describe. That said, Trump has not yet been arrested. Right now, Ice Cube's song is premature. That said, there are murmurings that Special Counsel Robert Mueller is expected to make some sort of move this week. This comes just days after Ice Cube's song dropped. That said, a lot of people let wishful thinking cloud their judgment. They may get their hopes up and then feel disappointed. It's always possible that Trump will resign, or pass away of natural causes in office, or even last the rest of his 4-year term. Ice Cube's song, though it may give hope to many, may never come true. We'll all find out together.
Miley Cyrus has penned an emotional post about the loss of something very close and personal: Her home. The singer alerted Instagram and Twitter followers last night that her house burned down in the massive wild fire that continues to consume significant areas of California. “Completely devestated [sic] by the fires affecting my community,” the singer Tweeted on Sunday, explaining in more detail: “I am one of the lucky ones. My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE made it out safely & that’s all that matters right now. My house no longer stands but the memories shared with family & friends stand strong.” It’s very safe to assume that Cyrus is referencing Liam Hemsworth when she writes the “LOVE OF MY LIFE.” “I am grateful for all I have left. Sending so much love and gratitude to the firefighters and LA country Sheriff’s department!” she continued. From there, as you can see below, Miley encouraged followers to donate to organizations that are helping folks stay safe during this very dangerous time: “I love you more than ever , Miley,” the star concluded her post. OVer 250,000 residents of California have been evacuated as a result of this ongoing disaster. At last count, 31 people had died. Other celebrities who have lost their homes, been forced to flee or just commented on the tragedy in general include Alyssa Milano, Gerard Butler, Kim Kardashian and Lady Gaga. Tweeted the A Star is Born actress: I am thinking so deeply for everyone who is suffering today from these abominable fires & grieving the loss of their homes or loved ones. I’m sitting here with many of you wondering if my home will burst into flames. All we can do is pray together & for each other. God Bless You. Kardashian, meanwhile, used the stage of Sunday’s People Choice Awards to speak on the devastation that has affected her , her siblings and so many others. “It’s been a really rough week in our home in Calabasas, Hidden Hills, and for our neighbors in Thousand Oaks and Malibu,” Kim said, elaborating in emotional detail as follows: “Our hearts are broken from the horrific shootings and for those who have lost their lives and homes, as well as the hundreds of thousands of us that have been evacuated from the devastating fires that are currently burning.” Continued Kim: “As horrible as this has been, it’s been amazing to see the resilient spirit of everyone involved, and the heroism of those risking their lives on the front lines. “Action is necessary, so anything we can do to help, as simple as donating to the many organization that are collecting supplies, no form of help is too small. “Our country is stronger when we come together and we cannot face devastation alone. “We must continue to reach out and help each other during these trying times.” Amen, right? Over 200 people have been reporting missing as a result of these wild fires. Tragically, as winds continue to gust and the blazes continue to spread, there doesn’t appear to really be an end in sight. We wish nothing but the best to all those affected.
