Teen Mom 2 Recap: David Eason (Allegedly) Assaults Jenelle Evans

If you're the kind of Teen Mom 2 fan who follows the cast closely on social media, then the harrowing climax of Monday night's episode probably didn't come as much of a surprise to you. Since October, we've known about the incident in which Jenelle Evans called 911 alleging that she had been assaulted by David. But the episode revealed new details about the incident that may shed light on David's mindset at the time of the alleged attack. Jenelle has dismissed the fight as a “drunk and dramatic misunderstanding.” But we think it's plain to see there's more going on here than just a booze-fueled confrontation. Join us as we reexamine that ugly scene, and take a glimpse at what the other moms were up to on this week's episode: 1. The Easons In recent months, Jenelle and David have experienced a number of rough patches in their marriage. 2. Rock Bottom But for all the violence and neglect, the lowest point may have come back in October, when a tearful Jenelle called 911 alleging that she’d been brutally assaulted by David. 3. The Call The night of the incident, Jenelle told a 911 operator that David attacked her and pinned her down so hard she thought he had broken her collarbone. 4. The Pieces Come Together Now, we know that David’s mood soured earlier in the day, when he was not permitted to join his family at a local pumpkin patch, due to the fact that he had been fired from Teen Mom 2. 5. Scary Stuff When David called one of the show’s producers to express his dissatisfaction, Jenelle attempted to laugh the situation off. 6. Yeah…Funny Stuff “We haven’t been to the pumpkin patch with any of the kids this season, and he’s mad we went without him,” Jenelle explained. “He was thinking, ‘I’m gonna make Kristen s–t her pants right now.’” View Slideshow

Jazmine Barnes Suspect: “Fight At Club Led To ‘Mistaken Identity’ Shooting”

Continued here:

One of the suspects in the shooting death of 7-year-old  Jazmine Barnes  appeared in court Monday morning and gave his side of the story. 20-year-old  Eric Black  Jr.  is charged with capital murder in the Dec. 30 shooting death of Barnes. According to court documents, Black admitted he was driving the vehicle involved in her murder. B Black said in court that he and another person were at a club Saturday night and that they got into an argument. Later that morning, he and a friend, identified by Black as Larry W. saw a vehicle that looked like the car that the pair had gotten into the dispute with at the club and fired shots into the car. According to Black, he didn’t realize it was the wrong car and didn’t know they had killed a child until they saw the story on the news the following day. Eric Black Jr. just got to court, he evaded questions about what he’d say to #JazmineBarnes ’ family as officers walked him in, also wouldn’t answer about the second man allegedly in the car with him during the shooting. #khou11 pic.twitter.com/oZkC4bwIq0 — Janel Forte (@JanelKHOU) January 7, 2019 Barnes died after suffering a gunshot wound to the head. Her mom, LaPorsha Washington was shot in the arm. Black identified Larry W. as the shooter. A gun, believed to be the one used in the shooting, was found at Black’s home by authorities. Eight shell casings found at the scene of the shooting of Wallisville Road matched the gun. A man named Larry Woodruffe appeared in court on Monday for an unrelated drug charge and the prosecutor called him a suspect in a capital murder case. He has not been charged in the Barnes case. “This death of Jazmine has sparked a lot of discussion on many different levels. And I think that it is good that going forward we continue to have positive dialogue on a number of different issues,” Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said. “We know that there’s important discussion that does need to take place about race, about the real feel and concern that hate crimes are in an uptick in this country. We also need to talk about gun violence.” RELATED: Suspect Charged With Murder In Jazmine Barnes’ Shooting RELATED: Shaquille O’Neal, Houston Officer To Cover Cost Of Jazmine Barnes’ Funeral

Florida Fatality: 11-Year Old Boy Shoots And Kills Friend Who He Says Attacked Him With A Knife

Losing a child or one convicted of murder are the worst ways for any parent to start off a new year. But unfortunately for Lake City native Carter Palm, that was the case. The 11-year old has been charged with manslaughter in the shooting death of his 14-year-old friend Jadon Vaughn whom he says attacked him with a knife. According to the Columbia County Sheriff Office : Jadon was visiting the home of Carter and his brother. The adults of the home went out for the evening, leaving the children at the residence. Around 7pm, Jadon and Carter began play wrestling in an attempt to see if the family dog would respond to Jadon attacking Carter. After this, Carter went and retrieved a pistol from his parent’s room, removed the magazine and pointed it at Jadon. The gun discharged killing Jadon. Carter is currently in juvenile detention in Gainesville. The State Attorney’s Office is reviewing the case to see if anyone will face neglect charges because the boys were left home alone with unsecured guns. SMH.
