“I’d like to have some milk. Please, please give me some.” This request from Michael Jackson was eerily rehashed in the involuntary manslaughter trial of Dr. Conrad Murray Friday. Of course, it wasn’t really milk he wanted. That was MJ’s name for thee powerful anesthetic Propofol, which he received via IV, and the one substance he believed offered what he desperately craved: sleep. Dr. Conrad Murray relayed to detectives details of Jackson’s last hours in a taped police interview played to jurors. The interview took place two days after MJ died. Murray conceded that he’d been giving Jackson Propofol almost every day, though he claims only a very small dose (25 mg) was given in the pop icon’s last days. As Jackson struggled to sleep, Murray says he urged the pop star to just close his eyes and meditate, but that seemed to work for only a few minutes at a time. Perhaps because of energy supplements Jackson was taking from another doctor, Propofol “was the only thing that worked for him,” Murray says in the recording. “I constantly cautioned him that it was an artificially induced sleep and he needed to go back to a natural pattern” and “be on your own, with milk and cookies.” Medical professionals have testified that it is unheard of to administer Propofol in somebody’s bedroom. It is normally used as an anesthetic during surgery. Murray told detectives that MJ insisted it was crucial he get enough sleep because he was rehearsing for his “This Is It” concert tour that was only days away. “He complained, he was going to have to cancel the (rehearsal and possibly the tour),” Murray says . “It would not satisfy his fans if he wasn’t rested well.” “I’m trying to do it the best I can and I’m trying to get help,” Murray says. Murray says he stepped away very briefly to go to the bathroom on June 25, 2009, and when he came back, the King of Pop had stopped breathing. He says CPR was unsuccessful, so he called 911 . He says paramedics were unable to revive Jackson, so he had him transferred to UCLA Medical Center, where doctors tried for an hour to revive him. “I love Mr. Jackson, he was my friend and he opened up to me in different ways and I wanted to help him as much as I can,” Murray told the detectives. “I was trying to wean him off the Propofol.” Defense attorneys have made the controversial assertion that Michael Jackson himself took the fatal dose of drugs that morning when Murray left the room. Murray’s girlfriends, including Sade Anding and Nicole Alvarez , have cast doubt on that theory given their timeline of phone calls made that day, though.

Singer will hit the road for 10 dates in November and December. The “Skyscraper” singer announced on Friday (October 7) that she’ll hit the road for 10 U.S. dates. The mini tour kicks off on November 16 in Detroit with stops at the Foxwoods in Connecticut; Hershey, Pennsylvania; and Kansas City; two stops in her home state of Texas; and shows in New Orleans, St. Louis and Atlanta. It wraps up on December 3 in Chicago. Tickets go on sale on October 14. This marks Lovato’s first major trek since leaving her tour with the Jonas Brothers last fall to seek treatment for personal issues. Lovato did , however, get her feet wet with two shows in Los Angeles and New York for two special dates in September, where she not only played her own tunes but also got everyone’s attention with her cover of Lil Wayne’s “How to Love.” Last month, Lovato dropped her album Unbroken. Since her musical re-emergence, pop’s latest comeback kid has garnered tons of critical praise. She also recently teased to MTV News that she’s gearing up to release her second single, “Who’s That Boy.” “We’re in the middle of getting the treatment and things put together,” Lovato said of her next music video. “So hopefully we’ll be shooting that soon.” In fact, Lovato said that she’s excited to try her hand at any number of projects that should come her way. “I’m looking forward to kind of just finding out what’s next. After ‘DISconnected’ premieres Monday at 9 p.m. ET/PT on MTV, Vinny will take part in an MTV News special discussing digital abuse. By Eric Ditzian Vinny Guadagnino Photo: MTV News Long before Vinny Guadagnino was beating the beat on “Jersey Shore” (and beating off the attention of club-hopping ladies), he was a gawky kid getting picked on by high school girls. “I was really awkward-looking and I got bullied a lot — especially by the hot girls,” he recently told MTV News. “I was cool enough to sit at the popular table with the hot girls, but at the same time, I wasn’t the most popular kid at that table. They would make fun of me and it would really hurt me, because you don’t want the girls thinking that you’re a loser.” How times have changed. But Vinny hasn’t forgotten what it’s like to be bullied, and he’s made an effort to use his celebrity to bring attention to the issue, taking part in MTV’s A Thin Line campaign to empower kids to identify, respond to, and stop the spread of digital abuse. On Monday, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the channel is set to premiere “DISconnected,” a film about online bullying. After the movie, Vinny will take part in an MTV News special to discuss these issues. Though he’s now a celebrity with almost 2 million Twitter followers, he still encounters digital abuse. Not long ago, he posted a YouTube video with some of his young cousins in the background and, as he put it, “some hater called a little girl in the background fat.” “I’ve learned not to let it affect me, but there are other people that can be affected by it,” Vin added. “That’s why I want to share a message with young kids that whenever someone is pointing the finger at you, they have a ton of problems themselves that are making them do that. The couple shared the stage as Bieber performed in Rio de Janeiro, his second night in the city on his My World Tour . As if debuting his Christmas single, “Mistletoe,” wasn’t enough of a present for his Brazilian fans, they got the chance to see the teen pop couple perform together. Bieber teased the performance in the hours leading up to his big show, tweeting , “Had a lil fun last night in RIO … show #2 in RIO is 2nite … got some very special guests with me 2nite. #Mistletoe.” He later added, “Hearing @CobraStarship killing it out there … almost time RIO … i got a big surprise tonight. #BRAZIL #myworldtour.” Footage from the performance shows Bieber walking offstage as Gomez comes out to sing her song “Who Says.” Toward the end of the song, Bieber returned to sing a few lines, and the pair embraced before Gomez exited the stage. Bieber later tweeted, “RIO!!! CRAZY!! thanks to @selenagomez for helping me do something special for the crowd. a duet never hurt nobody. WHO SAYS.” OK! magazine reports that Tuesday, the pair was spotted touring the city and taking a helicopter ride. On Wednesday night, Gomez was photographed backstage watching her boyfriend perform. Bieber’s next tour stop is Sao Paolo. While rocking South America, Bieber announced he’s releasing the official version of his single earlier than originally planned: “Thanks to all the love ITUNES is now releasing #MISTLETOE early … now coming #OCT17th !!! spread the world … we r going for our first #1!!” he tweeted. The two siblings, former members of Clique Girlz, are living a real teenage dream: touring internationally as Destinee & Paris , readying their debut album — and warming up for Britney Spears . Following a brief Stateside stint with Spears this past August, the sisters remained one of the pop diva’s opening acts for the European leg of the Femme Fatale Tour . That road trip wraps November 9 in Lisbon, Portugal, before traveling to the United Arab Emirates, South America, Mexico and Puerto Rico. “I can’t even explain how amazing it is to be onstage every night and sharing it with a legend like Britney,” Destinee, 17, told MTV News on Tuesday via Skype from Zurich, Switzerland. “I mean, she’s been in this business forever and has really made a name for herself. To be performing before her is crazy. If somebody said to me 10 years ago that this is what we’d be doing — opening for Britney Spears — I’d be like, ‘OK, you’re crazy.’ ” The Grand Rapids, Michigan-born Monroe sisters, who also appeared as backup singers on the 10th season of “American Idol,” released their debut single “True Love” via Streamline/ Interscope Records in August. They admit that the one thing they still need to do while touring with Spears is sit down for a genuine conversation with the nearly 30-year-old singer. “Everything’s been so busy for us, so we haven’t gotten to really talk [to Britney],” said Paris, 15. “But we have said hi [to her] a few times and she’s just a sweetheart.” So if they do get a chance for some one-on-one time with Spears, what would they ask their idol? “I think that our number-one question would probably be how to deal with growing up in this industry,” Paris said. “If there’s anyone who knows the most about that, it’s obviously Britney. She’s had an amazing, long, successful career, so I think that would be the first thing we would talk to her about.” The blond sisters, who toured with the Jonas Brothers and the Backstreet Boys while still with the Clique Girlz, are planning to focus on their still-untitled debut album once the tour ends. “The album is still in the final stages of being worked out,” Paris said. “We released the single and we’re performing most of the songs on tour. I think once we’re off tour, we’re probably going to record some more songs, tweak the album a little more, make the final touches and release it. According to her record label, the “Someone Like You” singer suffered a hemorrhage in her vocal cord and she will now have to cancel her upcoming sold-out 10-city tour. The hemorrhage seems a more serious condition than the laryngitis she suffered when she was forced to cancel other dates earlier this year. Adele expressed sadness in being forced to cancel the tour via an emotional post on her website: “Singing is literally my life, it’s my hobbie, my love, my freedom and now my job. I have absolutely no choice but to recuperate properly and fully, or I risk damaging my voice forever. I have great confidence in believing you know how much this upsets me, how seriously I take it and how truly devastated and annoyed I am by this,” she wrote. “Wanting to do something so bad and not being able to is the most frustrating thing as I’m sure you know! “My voice is weak and I need to build it back up. I’m gonna be starting up vocal rehab [soon] and start building my over all stamina in my voice, body and mind,” she continued. “I will be back and I’m gonna smash the ball out the park once I’m touring again. I apologise from the bottom of my heart, sincerely I do. I know it’s not only disappointing because of the show, but it’s plane tickets, hotel bookings, birthdays, anniversaries and time wasted. But please have faith in me that this is the only thing I can do to make sure I can always sing and always make music for you to the best of my ability. So word is Fabolous knocked Ray J the f**k out at the Mayweather vs. Ortiz fight in Vegas this past weekend. This is just one of many celebrity fights to have occurred over in the past few years. Is it me or aren’t these fights always the most random match ups we never expect? Sometimes celebrities fight over real issues and other times it’s just the dumbest things you can ever imagine. TUD has decided to compile a list of the top 10 celebrity fights that have played out in the public and on the blogs. Check out the list below! 10. Usher Vs. Bobby Brown- Now this was not a real fight but the blogs were buzzing about Usher and Bobby Brown getting into an altercation. We would love to see two of R&B greats go at it as if they were really competing for the title but that was not the case. Bobby Brown attended Usher’s birthday party where he greeted Usher who was so happy to see him, he put Bobby in a headlock. Bobby tried to tell Usher he could not breathe but Usher couldn’t hear him over the loud music. Bobby then picked Usher up holding him over the DJ booth when Usher’s security came to his rescue. 9. Foxy Brown Vs. Jacki-O – Foxy is considered the most controversial female rapper of all time. So no one is surprised when she gets into fights. Back in 2005, Foxy Brown and Jacki-O got into a fight down in Miami. Rumor is Jacki-O and rapper, Gravy, were in the studio recording when Foxy Brown showed up along with her nasty attitude. Jacki-O, who wishes she could have a rap career like Foxy once had, was not feeling how shady Foxy was being and put feet on her. Check out the video where Jacki-O speaks on the altercation and Foxy’s response saying it never happened and Jacki-O was just fishing for free press. Jacki-O later released a diss record aimed at Foxy titled “TKO.” 8. Joe Budden Vs. Raekwon- We all know Joe Budden loves having drama played out on cameras. He somehow believes it will help his brand and he will one day go platinum. The beef started with Joe Budden talking trash about being better than Method Man. Now you already know the Wu is going to hold it down. At Rock The Bells 09, someone in The Wu-Tang’s camp swung on Joe. Of course, Joe Budden would make a video holding a ice pack to his face. Check the video out HERE . 7. Maino Vs. Yung Berg- Maino made it clear that he was not being a bully. The two were on tour together at the time and Maino was even featured on Yung Berg’s “The Business” remix. Yung Berg approached Maino at a club in Atlanta. “I heard you was talking reckless about me” is what Yung Berg said to Maino. Being from the streets of Brooklyn, Maino open handed slapped him. Check out the audio where Maino speaks on what happen. 6. Ne-Yo Vs. Jim Jones- This is a rare match up that we never saw coming. The fight took place at the Louis Vuitton store on 5th Avenue in New York City. Word is one of Jim Jones’ goons made a disrespectful comment about Jay-Z to Ty Ty, who is Jay’s best friend, and when Ty Ty responded things got crazy. A source told MTO that someone had a Prada shoe on Ne-Yo’s neck. Sounds like a serious brawl doesn’t it? No one suffered any major injuries. Charges against Jim Jones were pressed and he later appeared in court and was issued a Desk Appearance Ticket. Jim Jones says he was lucky not to have received any time behind bars. 5. Ray J Vs. Fabolous- We never saw this one coming. Ray J and Fabolous scrapping down after the Mayweather vs. Ortiz fight is just hilarious. Now the fight is rumored to be instigated by 50 Cent. We all know how 50 can get the beef popping off. The altercation started off as just jokes but things got real after 50 instigated. This resulted in Fabolous hitting Ray J with a two piece and a biscuit leaving him unconscious. Word is Ray J’s jewelry was stolen in the process. Read about the full story HERE . 4. Junior Mafia Vs. Dipset- Just may be one of those classic hip hop beefs. Brooklyn Vs. Harlem if you really want to take it there. The brawl took place about 10 years ago at Ruker Park in Harlem, NY. We still don’t exactly know how this fight got started but according to JM, Cam’ron fled the scene when things got real. Check out the video where Lil’ Cease and Junior Mafia speak on the brawl. 3. Jay-Z Vs. R. Kelly – When the best of both worlds go wrong. There were rumors of Jay-Z and R-Kelly having some disagreements while touring for their second joint album Unfinished Business . I would assume the rumors true when R. Kelly was sprayed in the face with pepper spray by Jay-Z’s best friend Tyran “Ty Ty” Smith. This occurred when R. Kelly had stopped the concert and exited the stage, claiming he saw two men with guns in the audience. This caused Jay-Z to put an end to the tour. R. Kelly wanted to go on, but Jay had enough of R. Kelly’s wild antics and continued on without him with the help of artist like Kanye West, Foxy Brown, Mary J. Blige and Missy Elliott and more, calling the show Jay-Z and Friends. R. Kelly later hit Jay with a $75 million breach of contract lawsuit. 2. Jay-Z Vs. Lance “Un” Rivera- Now we still don’t know the truth about this fight as Nas pointed out in his “Ether” diss. The incident dates back to December 1999 when Jay was gearing up to release “Life & Times Of S. Cater” Vol. 3. Word had got back to Jay-Z that Un was responsible for his album being leaked before the release date. Jay-Z and his entourage ran into Un at The Kit Kat Club on west 43rd street in New York City. Rumor has it during the altercation Jay-Z stabbed Lance. Later, Rivera drafted a civil suit against Jay-Z but never filed it after the two settled out of court for about $500,000 to $1 million. 1. Diddy Vs. Steve Stoute- Nas’s “Hate Me Now” video displayed Diddy and Nas being nailed to a cross like Jesus. Diddy later did not want the world to see him like that because of his religion. Steve Stoute who was Nas’a manager at the time promised Diddy that he would have him taken out of that part of the video. The video premiered with both Nas and Diddy being nailed to a cross. This resulted in Diddy and his bodyguards breaking into Steve Stoute’s office and hit him over the head with a champagne bottle. Now what I wanna know is, did Diddy bring the champagne bottle with him or did he hit Steve Stoute in the head with his own Champagne bottle? Since arriving in the U.K., the singer has been hard at work on the set of her “Criminal” music video , according to photos that hit the Web. The pics reveal there will be a cameo from a super special guy in her life. In one photograph , a smiling Spears holds a gun as she leaves a convenience store with her real-life boyfriend Jason Trawick behind her. Other photos show Spears inside the store tucking the gun in the waistband of her pants, and Trawick carrying groceries and pulling Brit by the arm. In a chat with AOL , the pop star explained that it was her idea to shoot the clip in London. “I’m shooting a video [and] I’ve never shot on location out of the country of America for a video,” she said. “So, it should be very interesting. It was partly my idea … to see if it could to happen, and they were like, ‘Yeah, it’s a great idea,’ so we did it.” The Femme Fatale singer also opened up about her busy career, including the European leg of her tour which kicks off this month. So, how does she stay tour-ready at all times? “Sometimes it is [a lot of work], but I genuinely love what I do and I get on a routine and a schedule to keep me motivated and inspired to have the energy I need for the show,” she said. “A lot of cardio, a lot of running and just try and eat clean.” Britney added that it’s all about balancing motherhood and career. “You just have to find your balance and niche in your life,” she said, crediting her mom and nanny with giving her a helping hand. “It’s a process you learn to figure out.” Are you excited for Britney Spears’ “Criminal” video?
