My name is Anna and I literally cannot believe I was given the opportunity to meet Justin, go to the Believe Tour or the fact that I’m about to say this.. Here’s My Bieber Experience: Tickets went on sale when I was in 7th grade, but sadly my mom couldn’t get meet and greets or tickets because they sold out too quickly, or so I thought . About a month later, I was at my 7th grade awards ceremony and at the end, all the students went to their parents. I could not believe what I was told. My sister was telling me how sorry she was for not being able to get me tickets, but then she smiled and said, “I hope front row seats and meet and greets for the Atlanta show is enough though.” I completely FREAKED. Let’s just say I was very well known by most of the school for crying and screaming over Justin Bieber. On January 23, 2013, it was finally the day I would be meeting my idol, the one person whom I can look up to, and the one who I know will always be there and claim me as his belieber. While in the M&G line, we went down 4-5 sets of stairs until finally we entered this gymnasium. Our line was the first one in there but soon the gymnasium was FILLED with groups of people eager to meet Justin. After 30 minutes of waiting, a raffle, and bunches of announcements from our little instructor guy, Ryan, it was time. The line began moving and I immediately got nervous. Soon, I was at the front, and I was the next person to be pulled in to meet Justin. As soon as I walked into the curtain I spotted Lil Twist, which wasn’t a very big surprise . Then, I was turned to my left my a security guard and there he was.. Justin Bieber. He looked so perfect, like an angel just standing there. I was soon pushed over to him and that’s when it all happened fast. Justin smiled at me and said, “Hey Baby, how are you?” I was in total shock and me being the little socially awkward person I am I quickly said, “Hi!” I turned around for the picture. Knowing I looked a complete mess I quickly said, “Hold on, I need to wipe my tears” I was laughing though. Justin looked over at me and said, “Yeah, hold up let her wipe her tears,” and after the picture Justin pulled me into one last tight hug and I told him I loved him so much. He looked me in the eyes and said “I love you too.” I never thought that Justin would ever say those words to me. It was completely shocking. After calming down, through the first two opening acts, the countdown appeared. Me and the two girls by me, Nisa and Hannah, all freaked out. One last thing that was extraordinary happened while Justin was on stage, he made eye contact with me. That day was truly the best day of my life and it still seems so unreal. This shows all of you out there who think you will never meet Justin.. NEVER SAY NEVER! Anything could happen. My name is Sheila, and I have been in love with Justin Bieber for the last couple years. My parents bought me tickets to the Stevie Wonder House Full of Toys concert in LA December of 2011. We live in Florida and we flew out there just to see him . We had 4th row seats which were great, but just when I got to the stage and Justin was touching everyone’s hands, the security people pushed me back and I never got to touch him. The concert was great but I was disappointed! Then last month (December 2012), my parents surprised me again with tickets to the Jingle Ball in Fairfax, Virginia where Justin was performing. These were very expensive Meet and Greet tickets! We had to fly up to Washington, DC for this concert as well, but we didn’t care because I was finally going to get to meet Justin! I have never been so excited in my life! The tickets were advertised by the Alliance for Lupus Research as part of their fundraiser, and said that besides the floor tickets, we would get to go to a sound check party with everyone, and then get to meet Justin and get pictures taken with him. A few days ahead of time, we were told that the sound check party wasn’t happening and the radio station people said that instead they would give us meet and greets with another performer as well. Even though I didn’t really care about that, we took the meet and greet with Kesha. We were told to be at one of the portals at a certain time, and my brother went with me. We were then told that we were not to take pictures of our own, couldn’t talk to Justin or anything. After hearing that I was really upset, but thought at least I’d get to hug him and get my picture taken with him (they had their own photographer). Just as we were lined up and ready to go in, they told us we had to go in in groups of 5 or 6 and just pulled a bunch of us and sent us in, pushed us together, and snapped the picture. Justin was in the middle and I didn’t even get near him, didn’t get to touch him or talk to him or even really see him. Before I knew it, we were pushed out of the room and that was the end of it! I have never been more disappointed and upset in my life! I have tried so hard just to get close to him for a minute and thought this was finally my chance, but NO. I still love Justin and went to his concert in Orlando, where I live. My sister bought floor tickets for us and they were great seats, but again, security kept me from getting close to the stage, even though others were given wristbands and allowed to go up and stand right beside the stage! I’m not one of those girls that acts insane, screams, cries and runs after his bus, but I really just wanted a chance to meet him or be noticed. I wish I could say that my Bieber experiences were great but they haven’t been yet. Via NYDailyNews Steubenville Ohio Schools Locked Down Following Shooting Threat Schools in Steubenville, Ohio, were placed on lockdown for more than an hour after a shooting threat was received Tuesday in a district that’s gained national attention in a controversial forced sex assault case. Police were searching all buildings in the school district after 8:30 a.m., while students remained in classes, according to NBC affiliate WTOV. While buildings were cleared around 10 a.m., Superintendent Mike McVey said security will be stationed at all schools until further notice. The threat, which was made online, comes after a series of protests against city and school officials. Please sweet baby Jesus, keep these crazy muhfuggas away from this school. Earlier Tuesday, a couple who raised one of the Steubenville High School students accused of forcing sex on a 16-year-old girl during a night of partying last summer said it would be “out of character” for him to have participated. Ma’lik Richmond, 16, will stand trial next month along with Trent Mays, also 16, in a highly charged case that has rocked the small town of Steubenville, on the West Virginia border. Both students, also players on the school’s celebrated football team, are pleading not guilty. Richmond remains under house arrest at the home of Greg and Jennifer Agresta, although they are no longer his legal guardians. They had first taken him in at age 8, they said Tuesday on NBC’s “Today” show. Jennifer Agresta described Richmond as a “very laid-back young man” who was “surprised” to learn that he was being charged with forced sex and kidnapping. That’s all well and good, but THIS is the part that we just can’t quite buy… The Agrestas claim they never asked Richmond about what happened the night of the alleged sex assault. “It doesn’t matter to us,” Jennifer Agresta said. “We love him regardless of what happened that evening.” You haven’t asked him what happened?!?! Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit…so you bring him back in your home for house arrest as an accused rapist and you don’t ask him what happened? Yeah, aight… Clearly there is evidence against him… Richmond’s attorney, Walter Madison, declined to discuss the accuracy of the charges. He admitted, however, that a picture circulating online featuring two males carrying a young woman who appears to be limp and unconscious includes his client. Last week, an attorney for Mays wouldn’t confirm whether his client was in that photo, but suggested it could have been staged. Sorry folks, we know you love you some Ma’lik, but c’mon son. Many West Virginia residents are not fans of Buckwild, MTV’s new reality show – and replacement for the retiring Jersey Shore – which premiered last night. Set in Sissonville, W.V., the network’s latest “authentic comedic series” follows the antics of nine twenty-something cast members who are … a little bit country. Punches are thrown and words are exchanged. Turmoil brews among the roommates. Buckwild Season Preview MTV teases that the show follows “an outrageous group of childhood friends from the rural foothills of West Virginia who love to dodge grown-up responsibilities.” Sound familiar? Only in the backwoods and not the Garden State coastline? As we saw with New Jersey residents upset at the portrayal of their homeland by Snooki & Co., some West Virginians are angry about it feeding “redneck” stereotypes. Samantha Markos, a nearby waitress, said if MTV filmed a “real” show about the state, “You would find a lot of hardworking people that provide for their families.” Melissa Whitman, who lived across the street from where the Buckwild gang resided during shooting last year, witnessed more than she probably wanted to see. Especially as arguments and even some nasty fights broke out . “I watched producers actually talk to a lady and tell her exactly how he wanted her to come off on film,” she said. “I guess they thought we were all uneducated.” Danny Jones, mayor of Charleston, W.V., added, “You can find all kinds of people that live here and they’re not people that are going to be portrayed in Buckwild .” U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) also criticized the program. During the premiere, Cara, Katie and Anna moved in together in an attempt to trade country life for city life, but things quickly took a turn for the worse. Neighbors frequently called the police over noise violations, but the girls, with the help of Southern belle Shae, decided to throw a summer bash. This resulted in the first fight of the season, involving Anna. “I’ve known Anna since I was 4 years old. I know she has a horrible temper. And watching the footage back, that fight, I was surprised,” Shae recalled. “I was impressed because she usually snaps like that. I think she handled herself well. She was pushed to her limits and was just going to snap at anyone.” “If anyone gets in her face she’s going to snap at them.” Shain added, “I didn’t want to be around, I’m going the other way when she gets mad. I’m tucking my tail and running like a little puppy dog.” Sadly for the girls, the party ended … in eviction. “I thought it was pretty awesome that they got kicked out because it brought them to the country,” Shain said. “I didn’t have to go to the city to get my flirt on.” Good to know. Buckwild Premiere: West Virginia Residents Not Wild About MTV Reality Show
This guy isn’t scared of nothin’! Via Politico … House Speaker John Boehner couldn’t hold back when he spotted Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in the White House lobby last Friday. It was only a few days before the nation would go over the fiscal cliff, no bipartisan agreement was in sight, and Reid had just publicly accused Boehner of running a “dictatorship” in the House and caring more about holding onto his gavel than striking a deal. “Go f— yourself,” Boehner sniped as he pointed his finger at Reid, according to multiple sources present. Reid, a bit startled, replied: “What are you talking about?” Boehner repeated: “Go f— yourself.” The harsh exchange just a few steps from the Oval Office — which Boehner later bragged about to fellow Republicans — was only one episode in nearly two months of high-stakes negotiations laced with distrust, miscommunication, false starts and yelling matches as Washington struggled to ward off $500 billion in tax hikes and spending cuts. The White House and Congress knew of the self-imposed deadline for more than 17 months and they still blew past it, as a president fresh off a strong reelection victory tested — and ultimately broke — the Republican Party’s fidelity to its tax-cuts-only governing philosophy. It took a late intervention of two Senate veterans — Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Vice President Joe Biden — to rescue the negotiations. Their relationship, forged over two decades on Capitol Hill, helped move Congress to a resolution because it wasn’t burdened by the raw political conflicts of the past and the legislative fights still to come. But even those longtime Washington hands couldn’t prevent a New Year’s Day drama in the House. Boehner weathered a revolt against the bill, which played out during two meetings in the Capitol basement in which his fellow GOP lawmakers lashed out at having to accept the measure without spending cuts. After hours of uncertainty — even insults against “sleep-deprived octogenarians” from the Senate who passed the bill in the dead of night — the House gave final approval to the deal, 257-167. It was carried by 172 Democrats and 85 Republicans. And it exposed another split: Boehner voted yes, but his top deputies, Majority Leader Eric Cantor of Virginia and Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy of California, voted no. ESPN analyst Merril Hoge has been especially harsh toward Tebow, recently saying he’s as “phony as a three-dollar bill” and asking fans in Denver if they care any more that he no longer plays in that city. He may be a part of the Kardashian Christmas card , but will Scott Disick ever be an official part of reality TV’s First Family? It’s unlikely, according to Life & Style sources, who report that the father of Kourtney’s two kids tried to get down on one knee recently… but the attempt was rebuffed by Kardashian! Kourtney “does not want to be engaged,” the tabloid alleges, with a friend adding: “[She] really has been very vocal and told everyone how she does not want to marry Scott . She does not think their relationship is perfect and is scared of divorce. But Scott’s not happy about her never saying yes to a proposal.” Previous reports detailing the couple have claimed that Kourtney would consider a marriage, but only if Disick signed a prenup . Other sources, meanwhile, have claimed the twosome WILL get hitched someday, but a Scott Disick/ Kourtney Kardashian wedding would solely be based on ratings.
