Cop Who Killed Mike Brown Went Into Hiding With Family After Shooting According to Mediaite reports: Ferguson police this morning identified the police officer who shot Michael Brown as Darren Wilson. And when reporters knocked on the door of Wilson’s residence today, they discovered he apparently left town days ago. USA Today reports that no one answered at his home, and a cop watching the house said “Wilson and his family left days ago.” They also got testimonials from neighbors, including this woman’s description of Wilson: A neighbor, who did not want to be identified, said that Wilson had moved into the neighborhood less than a year ago. She described him as ” tall and slim” and that she would see him walking his dog in the neighborhood of mostly single-story brick homes. She said she didn’t know he was the cop until this morning when Crestwood police informed residents that he was involved and the neighborhood would be getting attention. According to the Ferguson police chief’s comments earlier today, Wilson was unaware that Brown was a robbery suspect when he confronted him. SMH. Marvel Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada made an unexpected announcement on The Colbert Report: A new Captain America is coming to town. A very new Captain America, that is. Sam Wilson, Captain America’s veteran partner The Falcon, will be replacing Steve Rogers this fall in the comic book series. Wilson will officially take over the shield in “All-New Captain America #1,” which will be penned by Rick Remender and Stuart Immonen. Colbert asked Quesada about the fact that Wilson black, to which the CCO replied. “I don’t see colors.” The host, naturally, then shot back: “If you don’t see colors, how do you do comic books?” Wilson was created by Stan Lee and Gene Colan and first appeared in 1969’s Captain America #117. At the time, he was the only African-American superhero in mainstream comics. Fast forward many decades and the character debuted on the big screen earlier this year in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. “I’ve been having a lot of fun writing Sam,” Remender told a Marvel.com. “It’s a completely different attitude. The fact that he’s not a soldier shifts things up a bit. Sam’s not going to be Steve. Steve can be very rigid. Tampa police were first alerted to the fraud in 2010 when they noticed a drop in drug dealing in the area. As Wilson, who became known as the ‘First Lady of tax fraud’ was sentenced on Tuesday, she was denied the chance to hug her three children, aged between 2 and 12, good-bye, according to the Tampa Bay Times. ‘She knew what she was doing was wrong. She reveled in the fact that it was wrong,’ U.S. District Judge James. S. Moody Jr. said. The 27-year-old, who also pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm, had boasted on Facebook that she was untouchable. ‘I’m Rashia, the queen of IRS tax fraud,’ the post stated. ‘I’m a millionaire for the record, so if U think indicting me will B easy it won’t, I promise you! U need more than black and white to hold me down N that’s to da rat who went N told, as if 1st lady don’t have da TPD under her spell. How you gonna bite Grandma though ? Via Daytona News-Journal reports : A Deltona man confronted by his grandmother for drinking her two bottles of wine bit her on the shoulder, investigating Volusia deputies said. Blake Hale, 19, also gave his 70-year-old grandpa a bloody nose, an arrest report shows. Deputies were called to the Albury Avenue home in Deltona at 7:49 p.m. Tuesday where 59-year-old Sue Wilson reported her grandson had bitten her, investigators said. Wilson said Hale was acting drunk when she came home and she noticed two bottles of her wine were empty, deputies said. The woman reported Hale became defensive, angry and started yelling obscenities at her. The verbal argument escalated into a physical confrontation and Hale started to bite Wilson on the shoulder as she walked out the front door, the report said. Wilson had a bite mark on her right shoulder, deputies said. When deputies made contact with Wilson’s 70-year-old husband, he reported Hale had punched him and given him a minor bloody nose. Deputies arrested Hale and charged him with battery on a person 65 years or older and battery, the arrest report states. WTF has gotten into these kids?
