Tony Scott did not leave a reason for his suicide. The news came Friday from the Los Angeles County coroner’s office, which said that notes left behind by the Top Gun filmmaker did not give a motive for his self-inflicted death south of Los Angeles last Sunday. The coroner’s office also said Friday that the notes written by Scott did not mention any health issues, according to A.P. Soon after his death, ABC News quoted an insider who said the director had been diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer, which was later refuted by family members. Tony Scott, 68, jumped from the Vincent Thomas Bridge, which spans the busy L.A. Harbor south of downtown. The coroner’s office performed an autopsy Monday, but the results will take a month or longer before official details are released about the cause of death, though it is being treated as a probable suicide. Coroner’s office spokesperson Ed Winter said that the notes left behind had a list of emergency contact numbers and a separate message to friends and family. [ Source: A.P. ]

Rumors of Ryan Lochte as The Bachelor are swirling ever since the Olympics, and last night, host-pimp Chris Harrison says he’s very much open to the idea. With a couple of caveats, that is: Lochte must wear a Speedo the entire season. Absolutely no peeing in pools at the mansion. “That’s part of the deal” Harrison said at The Expendables 2 premiere in Hollywood. “Did you see him in his Speedo? I mean, all of America stopped.” “It’s a female driven show, come on!” Lochte, who will guest star on 90210 this fall, said of the Speedo stipulation, “That’s fine … I usually already am. Saturday at Comic-Con Robert Downey Jr. and Co. charmed the crowd with glimpses of Iron Man 3 , but Marvel Studios had bigger aces up its sleeve, firming up their upcoming slate with announcements and sneak peeks at sequels Captain America: Winter Soldier and Thor: The Dark World as well as Guardians of the Galaxy and Ant-Man . Is this the work of another bath salt zombie?? L.A. Cops Investigate Lungs Found On Sidewalk Authorities are investigating what appear to be a pair of lungs found on a sidewalk in South Los Angeles. A woman called to report finding what she believed to be the organs at 8:30 p.m. (11:30 p.m. ET) Sunday in the 13100 block of Avalon Boulevard. Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene, and the coroner’s office was also called. Additional testing will determine if the remains are in fact lungs and whether they are human, police said. Sgt. Robert Dean of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, told the Los Angeles Times: “We don’t know what they are. It’s really weird.” Ed Winter, spokesman for the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office, told the newspaper the possible organs were not attached to a body, and he found the situation “a little strange.” He said it was unclear when the examination would be performed. In a rare interview, Prince William gave ABC News the clearest sign yet that he and his wife Kate Middleton are planning to try for a baby soon. In an interview to mark his grandmother’s diamond jubilee – 60 years on the throne – the future king said starting a family is a top priority. Discussing his military plans, Prince William, who will himself turn 30 next month ( Kate Middleton turned 30 this winter), told Katie Couric: “More importantly, I’d rather like to have children.
