Ke$ha Wants to Skinny Dip With Britney Spears

Pop phenomenon Ke$ha wants to skinny dip with Britney Spears. Sounds awesome, save for the part about Ke$ha being there. That topic came up when the dollar-signed singer was asked how she would like to celebrate the success of her chart-topping ” Blow ” and ” Till the World Ends ,” Spears’ latest single that Ke$ha actually wrote. “Skinny dipping,” she said. “Either her place or my place, it doesn’t matter.” She recently put in an underwater stereo in her pool in Nashville, too. Convenient. Who would you rather skinny dip with?

I wasn’t anticipating Minitroid as much as some of you — especially not as much as Jonathan — but now I can see where the adoration is coming from, first-hand. A playable tech demonstration for the in-progress tiny Metroid fan game has been put online. Tokinsom, Betatronic, and Jamie Billings are really on to something with this game. I fear that it could be a long, long time before we get to play… Broadcasting platform : YouTube Source : Destructoid Discovery Date : 05/04/2011 01:43 Number of articles : 2

Britney Spears To Release Two ‘Till The World Ends’ Videos

A director’s cut and a choreography cut of the video will both be released. By Jocelyn Vena Britney Spears Photo: MTV News & Docs Who needs one “Till the World Ends” video when you can have two? Well, it seems that Britney Spears’ fans will get just that. JustJared.com reports that the singer will release two videos for her second single from Femme Fatale. According to the site, “The director’s cut will have more of an apocalyptic story line while the choreography cut will have the unabridged version of Britney’s dance moves.” The video was directed by Ray Kay and shot in Los Angeles last month. The video features Spears in sexy, body-hugging clothes getting sweaty with her dancers. “The set was a little much. It was grimy and gross and it felt like there was poop everywhere when there wasn’t,” she recalled in Sunday’s MTV special “Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale.” “It was sweat and it was disgusting sometimes … [I] tough it out,” she laughed. In the video sneak peek featured in the special, Spears opted to change out of her sexy heels to dance in more practical Uggs. “It hurts … but it looks good,” she explained. “It wasn’t a full-length shot, so a girl’s about comfort when it’s not showing.” She later added, “It was a lot of fun. I had never worked with Ray Kay before. I was really happy with the work we did.” Spears’ “Till The World Ends” songwriter, Ke$ha , opened up to People.com about how she’d like to hang out with the pop star now that they’ve worked on a hit pop song together. “Skinny dipping. It would be a dress-up-like-Ke$ha-or-Britney party. Either her place or my place, it doesn’t matter,” the “Blow” singer said, describing their perfect hang-out. “I have a small, salt-water pool [at my house in Nashville] that has laser beams in it and a stereo so you can be underwater listening to music.” Are you excited for two “Till the World Ends” videos? Britney Spears Wanted To ‘Experiment’ On Femme Fatale

‘I really wanted to play with my voice and change up my sound,’ she tells Rolling Stone. By Jocelyn Vena Britney Spears in “Hold It Against Me” Photo: Jive When Britney Spears started planning Femme Fatale, there was no doubt in her mind that she wanted to take her time and make something incredibly different from anything she’s previously released. In a chat with Rolling Stone, the singer said she thinks she accomplished what she set out to do: “make a fresh-sounding album for the clubs or something that you play in your car when you’re going out at night that gets you excited.” “I wanted it to sound different from everything else out right now,” she told the mag. “I also wanted to experiment with all the different types of music I love, which is why you hear a mixture of pop, hip-hop and dance throughout the album. I also really wanted to play with my voice and change up my sound here and there, which was really fun.” Her first two singles certainly fit that bill. “Hold It Against Me” and “Till the World Ends” are sexy dance jams that are just a taste of what the album is about. “I really didn’t want to record anything on this album that could be mistaken for anyone else out there. I think my first two singles, ‘Hold It Against Me’ and ‘Till the World Ends,’ sound completely different from anything else,” she said. “And I think when my fans hear the rest of Femme Fatale, they’ll see how fresh every song is.” On the album, Spears worked with longtime collaborators Dr. Luke and Max Martin, but she also hooked up with will.i.am on the song “Big Fat Bass.” “The Peas make incredibly catchy, fun pop/dance records and I love will.i.am’s style,” she raved. “I have always wanted to do a song with him and would love to work with him more in the future. He is so interesting.” Like Spears, Luke wanted to push the boundaries for this album, and Spears described her “picky” attitude toward choosing songs, knowing that she wanted it to be “unique” from the other tracks on the radio. “I only wanted songs that I immediately connected to. I also wanted to make sure that this album was completely different from Circus or anything else I had ever recorded,” she said. “I love Circus, but I wanted something darker and edgier. I also wanted to make an album and didn’t want to just record a bunch of songs and put them together. I think Femme Fatale is really connected from start to finish.” Are you looking forward to Britney’s new music? Let us know in the comments! Related Artists Britney Spears

Demi Lovato Video Message To Fans Coming Monday

Singer, who left treatment in January, will speak via Cambio.com. By Jocelyn Vena Demi Lovato Photo: Jason LaVeris/ FilmMagic Demi Lovato has remained on the down low since leaving a treatment facility in late January. Fans have been wondering what is next for the Disney star, and now it seems they will find out. According to Cambio.com , the singer will appear on the site Monday in “a special video message to all her fans.” “This will be the first time since leaving treatment that Demi will speak directly to her fans to thank them for their support,” the statement reads. “Demi is excited to be getting back to work and reuniting with her fans around the world.” The news comes on the heels of an interview in which her “Sonny With a Chance” co-star Brandon Mychal Smith confirmed that the show’s name was set to be changed to “So Random,” the name of the show the characters in “Sonny” work on. “With a show like ours, each season you focus on a different concept, a different theory, or maybe a different character’s background,” Smith said. “Season one, we established who we were — you saw some mini-sketches, you saw who the characters were and how they mingled and intertwined. Season two, you were able to see more of the relationship between Sonny and Chad and how they got into it and how we didn’t like it, and you saw some of Mackenzie Falls and that aspect. “And now, this season,” he continued, “you’ll be able to see ‘So Random,’ see why we are where we are today in regards to being the teen idols that we are. You’ll be able to see how we bring the funny every week.” With questions about what that means for Lovato and her role on the show, Disney told MTV News, “Demi’s management will inform us when she is ready to return to work. Last November, we announced that we would focus on our ‘So Random’ sketch-comedy show to keep the staff, cast and crew employed. We began production in January and will debut those episodes this spring. As you know, Disney Channel previously aired ‘So Random’ specials to strong ratings.” What are you hoping to see from Demi Lovato now that she’s finished treatment? Share your thoughts below.
