Kim Kardashian Wins! Kris Humphries Booed On Court In First Game Back [VIDEO]

Read the original here:

It seems Kim Kardashian hasn’t lost any fans – despite the backlash she received after her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries. The New Jersey Nets player hit the court last night for the first time since the NBA lockout and was repeatedly booed throughout the game – likely by Kim’s supporters. He wasn’t booed because of poor passes or shots, but simply because he touched the ball, the crowd would jeer. Even when on the bench, the crowd chanted “We want Humphries,” in hopes he would return to the court so they could continue their mocking. Though he claims the noise didn’t affect him, the Nets lost 88-82 against the New York Knicks. Does he deserve the harassment? Did Kim Kardashian Go To Haiti To Revamp Her Image? Lady Gaga Describes ‘Marry The Night’ Breakdown As ‘Honest Moment’

‘It is my personal way of seeing things. I am the artist of my own life,’ Gaga says of her self-directed video. By Jocelyn Vena Lady Gaga in her “Marry the Night” music video Photo: Interscope/ VEVO Lady Gaga exorcises her demons in her nearly 14-minute-long clip for “Marry the Night,” which premiered Thursday night. Depicting Gaga’s journey from an early career trauma to her reinvention as a successful pop star, she intended for art to imitate life in the clip. For those wondering what left Gaga so traumatized, she explained it all to E! News preceding the video’s premiere. The video is a metaphor for how she felt when she was dropped from her first record label, Island Def Jam, before landing at her current home at Interscope. “It was one of the worst days of my life and it happened quite quickly. But in my mind, when I think back on that period of my life, it all happened very slow,” she explained. “It is my personal way of seeing things. I am the artist of my own life. I choose to tell you what happened,” she continued. “If you give up after something like that, you were never destined to be an entertainer.” In the video , after hearing from her ballet director that she should quit, she restructures her goal and plots her rise to pop stardom. “In order to be great writing music or at fishing or at being a mechanic or designing buildings, you have to acknowledge what is wrong with your work, or what is dishonest about it,” she said. “What have I not been really great at?” Those obstacles, she says, are a big part of what makes her who she is now. “I love the obstacles,” she said. “To marry your obstacles means I, the artist, wholeheartedly accept everything you throw at me. I am destined to struggle, I am destined to write music about the struggle and I accept it willingly.” There are several scenes where Gaga is naked and experiencing a mental breakdown in her apartment. “Well, I was naked in real life when it happened,” she said, referring to the moment she found out she’d been dropped. “That’s probably the most honest moment in that video of everything I’ve ever done. My directorial decision was for them to just f—ing roll the cameras, because I couldn’t go in and out of the moment. I wonder if I will actually release that scene in its entirety — it’s about 30 minutes long.” “It was intensely important to me that it was not too beautiful,” she added. “It was an incredible experience. It was amazing. It was absolutely amazing.” This marks the first time that Gaga has directed a video all on her own. She recently split from her longtime creative director Laurieann Gibson , however, she clarified how the Haus works during the interview. “I have always been the creative director, and the Haus of Gaga has always been the creative force behind what we’ve done. There really aren’t many tremendous changes. “I know it’s my directorial debut, but I’ve really created everything I’ve ever done in my career,” she continued. “I really didn’t do anything differently on this video that I didn’t do on the ‘Telephone’ video or the ‘Paparazzi’ video or the ‘Bad Romance’ video. I hope my fans will take from this the progression that you have to trust yourself to make mistakes.” While the subject matter of the video is dark, there are also some tongue-in-cheek moments. “I always believe that you walk the line of humor if you’re being so incredibly serious,” she explained. “There’s something quite comical about the opening of the video, even though it’s quite sinister and dark,” she said. “It’s meant to be comical.” So, how would Gaga sum it all up? “In essence, it’s insight into my entire creative process and the way that I view things,” she said. Kanye West Blames Himself For Album Of The Year Snub

‘That’s my fault for dropping Watch the Throne and Dark Fantasy the same year,’ Yeezy tells fans about coveted Grammy nom. By Rob Markman Kanye West Photo: Pascal Le Segretain/ Getty Images Everyone knows that Kanye West takes his awards very seriously, but those who were excepting a Yeezy meltdown for his Grammy Album of the Year snub will be disappointed. On Thursday during the Chicago stop of ‘Ye and Hov’s Watch the Throne Tour , the hometown MC, who is leading the 2012 nominees with seven Grammy nods , addressed the crowd. ‘Something I figured out earlier today, because you know everybody came to me last night like, ‘Congratulations,’ because you know I’m leading — I have the most Grammy nominations once again, like we always do at this time,” Kanye said, drawing thunderous applause from the United Center crowd. “But, you know, people focus, they say, ‘You ain’t have Album of the Year or Record of the Year,’ ” he continued as the fan cheers quickly turned to disapproving boos. Then the outspoken rap star did the unexpected. Instead of sending shots toward the Grammy committee, Kanye blamed himself: “I figured it out though. That’s my fault for dropping Watch the Throne and Dark Fantasy the same year. I should’ve just spaced it out, just a little bit more.” In November 2010, ‘Ye released his fifth studio album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, . The platinum LP was both critically acclaimed and a commercial success thanks to surefire singles like the rambunctious “Power,” the reflective sing-along “Runaway” and “All of the Lights,” which is nominated for Song of the Year and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. Nine months after MBDTF, in August 2011, the Louis Vuitton Don hooked up with Jay-Z to release their tag-team album Watch the Throne . Both Yeezy LPs are nominated in the Best Rap Album category, but neither is in contention for the coveted Album of the Year Award. Instead Adele, the Foo Fighters, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars and Rihanna will duke it out for the golden gramophone. Surprisingly Kanye West isn’t sweating it, though. “Don’t worry because me and Hov are gonna keep on making sh–,” he said to the crowd. Does this mean we can expect a Watch the Throne sequel? Guess we’ll have to wait till next year to see. What do you think of Kanye’s reaction? Should he have spazzed? Tell us in the comments! Brad Pitt does it all. He acts. He has kids with Angelina Jolie . He looks handsome even with that absurd hair. And after a screening of his new film the Cary Grant Theatre in Culver City, Calif., he even helped out a distraught man at a Q&A session with fans. According to an attendee, a 30-something struggling actor announced to Pitt, Moneyball co-star Jonah Hill and the crowd that he was considering suicide. What did Pitt say? “It turned into a very awkward moment,” the attendee says, adding that the 47-year-old actor got “choked up” as he revealed his own battles to the crowd. But Pitt didn’t flinch . “He said, ‘Look, man, life is up and down, it’s a vicious cycle, but you have to go through it and deal with that,'” the observer reveals. “‘You can be down, but then you come back up again, and every failure can lead to success.'” “It was touching. As he left the theater he even stopped to talk with the guy to offer him some more words of encouragement because he was so fragile.” What more is there to say beyond: How cool is Brad Pitt?! Maggie Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard Expecting Second Child

Couple have been together since 2002 and have a 5-year-old daughter together. By Jocelyn Vena Maggie Gyllenhaal Photo: Getty Images Actors Maggie Gyllenhaal and hubby Peter Sarsgaard are expanding their family. The couple is expecting their second child together next spring. A rep for Gyllenhaal has confirmed to Usmagazine.com that the couple’s daughter, 5-year-old Ramona, will soon have a baby brother or sister to keep her company. A source said that the actress will “be laying low for a little bit now.” In a previous interview with the magazine, Gyllenhaal admitted it’s not always easy to balance being an actress and being a mom. “I had been so focused on Ramona — and she’s been everything to me — but I’m also an actress. It’s not possible to do it perfectly,” she said. “Being a mom is so present in my mind and my work. It’s the most important thing about me, but next I’d like to play someone who’s not a mother.” Life & Style reported that the couple told friends and family about the pregnancy over the Thanksgiving holiday. Gyllenhaal first had people wondering if she was expecting when she arrived at the Rome Film Festival sporting what appeared to be a baby bump in late October. “Over Thanksgiving weekend, Maggie was telling friends that she’s six months pregnant,” a friend of the actress said. “Her bump is so big!” The friend added, “She’s thrilled to be pregnant! She and Peter have wanted another child for a while. They’re very happy that they’ll have another baby in the house soon.” The couple, together since 2002, tied the knot in 2009 in Italy. As for uncle Jake Gyllenhaal , the friend tells Life & Style that he’s really excited to be an uncle again. “Jake is so happy that she’s pregnant again because he loves kids. Maggie’s said that he’s the best uncle and has done a lot of sweet things for her first child.”

Frank Ocean Charms New York Audience

Odd Future crooner wins over Bowery Ballroom with soulful covers and originals, including new songs ‘Super Rich Kids’ and ‘Disillusioned.’ By Rob Markman Frank Ocean Photo: MTV News Be it for a crowd of one or 100, you get the feeling that Frank Ocean would be just as charmingly awkward when performing tracks from his breakthrough digital album Nostalgia, Ultra . On Monday evening, the Odd Future singer/songwriter performed his second in as many days, making up for the scheduled November 6 concert that was cancelled , citing illness. There was no opening act or host for the evening, just Ocean, who stormed the Bowery Ballroom stage at exactly 9:30 p.m. wearing a black jacket, white button-down shirt and a red bandana tied around his forehead. “You think I’d leave your side baby/ You know me better than that,” he sang, starting out his set with a soulful rendition of Sade’s “By Your Side.” As the 23-year-old New Orleans export serenaded the crowd, the screen behind him played clips of old Western films and changed themes with each song: sometimes playing scenes from “Boyz n the Hood,” other times playing animated “Dragon Ball Z” clips. After the opening number, Frank addressed the crowd, professed his love for NYC and revealed to fans that he first fell in love, then ultimately got his heart broken, in Southern California. The charming anecdote set up “Thinking About Forever,” a hopelessly romantic slow jam about recapturing lost love. Ocean isn’t the type of singer who rips off his shirt, nor does he show any signs of being a dancer — two qualities typically associated with modern-day crooners. Frank, however, remains relatable on a level most artists are not, which makes him able, in between each song, to simply chat and laugh with the audience, and though he seemed uneasy at times, it was enough to keep his adoring fans engaged. The female portion of the crowd squealed when he eased into “Dust,” and when Ocean belted out the opening line from “Swim Good” — “That’s a pretty big trunk on my Lincoln Town Car” — most of the crowd shot their hands into the air, swaying them side to side. Though his diehards know him for so much more, the OFWGKTA breakout is most popular for his contributions to Jay-Z and Kanye West’s inescapable Watch the Throne LP, so of course, he performed his portions of “No Church in the Wild” and “Made in America.” His catalog isn’t deep, but for an hour, Ocean kept fans entertained by running through fan favorites and even giving a taste of his next album, singing two new songs: “Super Rich Kids” and the bouncy and bassy “Disillusioned.” The show’s only downfall was that for much of the show, Ocean simply stood center stage, but boy did he sound great. He switched things up on “American Wedding,” his heartbreaking flip of the Eagles’ classic “Hotel California.” For the track’s iconic guitar solo, Ocean turned his back to the crowd, faced the screen, picked up a video-game guitar controller and played out the song’s closing notes on “Guitar Hero.” The crowd — mixed with industry mainstays, star-gazing girls, frat boys and even a few celebs (Mos Def was in attendance) — ate it up. After his version of Coldplay’s “Strawberry Swing,” Ocean said goodnight and left the stage. The crowd stood, demanding an encore, and were granted their wish when Ocean remerged onstage sitting by a piano. He closed with “I Miss You,” a song he wrote for Beyonc

Ho Sit Down: Rush Limbaugh Accuses Michelle Obama Of Uppity-ism

Everybody knows that if there is one thing racist wanksters detest, it’s an “uppity negro”! Rush Limbaugh offered up his stinkin’ opinion on why our girl Chelly-O was booed at that NASCAR event saying them good ol’ All-American folk who are into car racing don’t like the First Lady for her “uppity” ways. SMH: Rush Limbaugh accused Michelle Obama of “uppity-ism” during his Monday show. Limbaugh was speaking about the First Lady’s recent reception at a NASCAR event, where both she and Jill Biden were booed by the crowd. He said it was not surprising that she was booed, because the crowd at NASCAR resented her healthy eating initiatives and her husband’s policies. “What the hell is there to cheer for?” Limbaugh asked. He said that people also didn’t like “paying millions of dollars” for Obama’s vacations. “They understand it’s a little bit of a waste,” he said. “They understand it’s a little bit of uppity-ism.” Michelle Obama has been a frequent target of Limbaugh’s. Previously, he has said she “doesn’t look like” she eats healthy foods, and criticized a trip she took to Target. Listen to his comments below: This joker is such a jerk. Did Mariah Carey Just Diss Kim Kardashian?

Mariah Carey’s weight loss is the topic of the new cover story of Us Weekly. The slimmed-down singer had plenty to say about the prior week’s too. She appeared to make a comment about Kim Kardashian’s divorce at a press conference for Carey’s introduction as the new face of Jenny (formerly Jenny Craig). “I’m a real person, I’m not putting on a fake face for Hollywood,” Carey told the crowd, then spoke about her marriage to Nick Cannon, with whom she has twins. “Sometimes we really make each other mad, and that’s why we aren’t divorced after four months,” she cracked, as the crowd audibly gasped after that remark. The poster child for quickie divorces/defecating on the institution of marriage these days, of course, is Kardashian, who lasted all of 72 days with Kris Humphries . That’s not even three months, but whatever. Carey was sheepish after her joke, prompting the “Butterfly” singer to sort of take it back: “I’m sorry, just saying.” And we’re just saying … that she’s kalling like it is. Sorry Kim.

My names Betty and I am lucky enough to say I have had 5 Bieber…

My names Betty and I am lucky enough to say I have had 5 Bieber experiences. This is one of them. I was on Twitter when Justin tweeted he was going to be on the Today Show on 11/4/11 . My friend and I immediately knew we were going. We woke up at 5am the next day and when we got to the Today Show, there was already hundreds of girls there. We stood with the crowd for about 2 hours in the cold, waiting for Justin and they finally announced he was coming out. I started panicking when I saw him. I noticed Alfredo first because he was in bright green. Justin walked around signing stuff. As he got to me, I almost forgot what to say. He signed my CD and I asked for a picture but he said he wasn’t allowed to take pictures. Then he smiled at me and said, “Thanks love you too.” I almost died, it was one of the best days of my life.  -@bettybieber12 Original post: My names Betty and I am lucky enough to say I have had 5 Bieber…
