Kelly Brook As A Busty Indiana Jones

I don’t know why Kelly Brook is dressed up as Indiana Jones , why do women do anything really, but she’s actually kinda making it work for me. Not bad. There’s something about a chick with a whip that I like. If she wants to get together and shoot a short little movie I’m always available. We can call it Indiana Jones and the Blogger’s Erection.

‘Cowboys & Aliens’ Will ‘Exceed’ Fans’ Expectations

Director Jon Favreau tells MTV News there’s much more to the movie than the ‘silly’ title may suggest. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Jon Favreau Photo: Frazer Harrison/ Getty Images When news broke that “Iron Man” director Jon Favreau had wrangled two of the biggest names in the action-movie business — Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig — to star in his intriguing genre mash-up “Cowboys & Aliens,” that and a compelling premise proved to be enough to send scores of fanboys online seeking advanced tickets. But though there’s lots of early buzz from the marquee names associated with “Aliens” (mega-watt producers Steven Spielberg and Ron Howard are also onboard), Favreau recently admitted to MTV News that he felt pressure to deliver something extraordinary for fans. “Of course, with Ron Howard and Steven Spielberg [producing], I’m in real good hands,” Favreau said about overcoming the challenges of establishing just the right tone for the movie. “I learned a tremendous amount from them, and I think when you cast Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig — with ‘Bond’ and ‘Indy,’ those are two franchises that are fun but not silly,” he added about Craig’s 007 and Ford’s “Indiana Jones” series. “And I think that if people take a clue from who I cast in the film as to how it’s going to play, it’s a good indicator,” he explained. Favreau went on to say that there’s far more to the film than what the title suggests. “I think [moviegoers] hear the name ‘Cowboys and Aliens,’ it sounds kind of silly, but it also sounds compelling and interesting,” he said. “So if they give it a chance, they’ll see it’s a fun movie, it’s an exciting movie, and I think it’s going to exceed their expectations.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Cowboys & Aliens.” For breaking news and previews of the latest comic book movies — updated around the clock — visit SplashPage.MTV.com . VIDEO: Watch Thor Get Cosmic And Then Blow The Crap Out Of A Fake New Mexico Town

As far as Marvel Studios’ summer superhero movies go, it seems like there might be a clear set of preconceived notions already coagulating into stone. Captain America ? Looks like it might be a retro-adventure movie like Indiana Jones ! X-Men: First Class ? The trailer looked cool, but the posters are objectively vomit-inducing, so we’re cautiously optimistic. Thor , on the other hand, seems to have already been declared DOA by the geek brigade. But this behind the scenes look on the set in New Mexico might start to change their minds.

SNL Scorecard: Other Than Helen Mirren’s Breasts, A Very Flat Night

There’s really no way to soften the blow here: Helen Mirren’s turn as Saturday Night Live host was a massive disappointment. Flat, flat, flat… everything the whole night — well, except her breasts in one sketch — was flat. Resorting to the tired and meta ” SNL isn’t funny anymore” jokes as early as the cold open reveals a staff that appears to be looking ahead to its three-week break ( SNL , thankfully at this point, doesn’t return until May 7). So, yeah, enjoy your break, guys. Please think of something funny while you’re gone. Meanwhile, on to a very depressing scorecard…

Will Alien-Free Marketing, Lack of 3D, and Tonal Ambiguity Make Cowboys & Aliens a Tough Sell?

When it comes to conventions, Jon Favreau is nothing if not a man of the nerd people. Mindful of how much he owes to the Comic-Con faithful for jump-starting early word of mouth on the Iron Man franchise, he came to San Francisco this weekend with a treat: Nine minutes of footage from Cowboys & Aliens cut exclusively for the WonderCon audience, including a special reveal of the film’s big, bad aliens — aliens that Favreau otherwise intends to keep under wraps.
