Madonna has been nearly nude on Instagram several times, but today she posted a full-blown naked selfie, and the pop icon may have revealed a bit more than she intended to. The shot brings to mind the artsy nudity of James Franco : it’s vain, pretentious and tells us more about the subject of the photo than they realized when they posted it. What makes this pic noteworthy apparent at first glance: seems to just be Madonna in a bubble bath with her back turned to the camera. But when you take a look behind her right ear, you realize why plastic surgery enthusiasts usually wear their hair down. Yes, that red mark looks an awful lot like a facelift scar. In the wake of Donald Sterling’s horribly offensive comments about minorities, a number of high-profile companies have pulled their sponsorship of his professional basketball team. Red Bull, State Farm, CarMax, AQUAhydrate, Kia and Virgin America all announced today that they are at the very least suspending all affiliation with the Los Angeles Clippers. That’s what happens when you berate your girlfriend for interacting with African-Americans and when you condescendingly way you put food on the plates of black players . Donald Sterling Racist Recording “We trust and respect the NBA’s process to formally investigate the matter, and in the interim, are suspending all team-related marketing activities,” Red Bull said in a statement. “We will continue to support our Red Bull athlete, Blake Griffin, his teammates and coaching staff in their pursuit of an NBA title.” Added CarMax: “CarMax finds the statements attributed to the Clippers’ owner completely unacceptable. These views directly conflict with CarMax’s culture of respect for all individuals. Oh, James Franco. Does your ability to involve yourself in weird scandals know no bounds? Fresh off his scandalous flirtation with teenager Lucy Clode , Franco finds himself at the center of another controversy – this one involving his personal attack of New York Times theater critic Ben Brantley. The Times published a review of Brantley’s that featured some extremely negative comments about Franco’s performance in the Broadway revival of the play Of Mice and Men , and the temperamental actor quickly took to Twitter to express his displeasure. “SADLY BEN BRANTLEY AND NYT EMBARASSED THEMSELVES,” Franco tweeted (yes, he’s adopted the Kanye-style all-caps approach to online expression). “BRANTLEY IS SUCH A LITTLE B!TCH HE SHOULD BE WORKING FOR GAWKER.COM INSTEAD OF THE PAPER OF RECORD. THE THEATER COMMUNITY HATES HIM, and for good reason HE’s an idiot.” Harsh words. But in case you were wondering, Brantley didn’t exactly hold back on Franco in his review: “Though he sports a Yosemite Sam accent,” Brantley wrote. “Mr. Franco is understated to the point of near invisibility.” Also harsh words! But the difference is – Ben Brantley is a critic who said negative things about Franco’s performance . On the other hand, Franco is douchebag who attacked Brantley as a person . See the difference?
