Evelyn Lozada on Chad Ochocinco Engagement: YAY!

Evelyn Lozada may star on Basketball Wives – returning to VH1 with new episodes on December 12!!! – but this reality star has never actually been wife. She can’t wait for that to change, however, as she gushed to People this week over her engagement to NFL wide receiver Chad Ochocinco. “He gets who I am, supports my dreams and loves me unconditionally,” she told the magazine . “I just knew he was the one from me.” While a source claims “Evelyn has been dying to have kids and is looking forward to starting a family with Ocho,” the impending football wife didn’t touch on that subject here. Instead, she simply said: “I couldn’t be happier with my engagement to Chad. Our friendship is true love and respect and is unlike anything that I have ever experienced.”

Julia Roberts Made $1.5 Million for This

Don’t get us wrong. We love our jobs, delivering the latest in celebrity gossip, debating such ethical dilemmas as whether or not Lindsay Lohan s hould appear on Dancing with the Stars . It’s a good life. But sometimes we wish were an A-list actress. That way, we could be like Julia Roberts and get paid $1.5 million for a 45-second commercial that doesn’t involve a single line on our part. Case in point, the following Lavazza ad: Julia Roberts Lavazza Commercial

Emma Roberts Is A Cute Little Number

I don’t know why I’m posting these pictures of Emma Roberts doing absolutely nothing, I don’t think jaywalking is sexy at all, but I’ve already resized and uploaded the images so we’re stuck with her. It’s not all that bad really, she’s a cute little number… A number I’d like to divide in two if you know what I mean. I’m aware that joke is pretty juvenile and doesn’t really make all that much sense, but I’ve got nothing. You’re going to need to work with me on this one. Enjoy.

Emma Roberts In Her Tight Pants

I’m only putting these pictures of Emma Roberts up on the site because I think she’s a cute little number and not because she’s wearing some really tight jeans and hooker heels. She’s too young for that kind of thing right? Wait, she’s over eighteen now isn’t she? I remember there was a lot of hype a little while back from fat dudes blogging in their underwear about becoming legal like she’d throw herself at them because they’ve got an awesome collection of oversized Storm Trooper costumes. Idiots.

‘Last Exorcism’ Tops Friday Box Office

‘Takers’ with T.I. and Chris Brown nabs second place. By Mawuse Ziegbe Ashley Bell in “The Last Exorcism” Photo: Lionsgate The Box-Office Top Five #1 “The Last Exorcism” ($9.4 million) #2 “Takers” ($7.5 million) #3 “The Expendables” ($2.7 million) #4 “Eat Pray Love” ($ 2.2 million) #5 “The Other Guys” ($1.9 million) “The Last Exorcism” scared up major ticket sales on its opening day. The supernatural horror flick raked in an estimated $9.4 million on Friday. “Exorcism,” which is directed by Daniel Stamm and boasts gore-master Eli Roth of the “Hostel” series fame as a producer, drew enough moviegoers to grab the top spot. The film, which follows a documentary crew in rural Louisiana hired to capture the creepy antics of a supposedly possessed young girl, goes light on digital wizardry in favor of scoring scares with practical effects. In the second place slot is the star-studded heist flick “Takers.” T.I., Chris Brown, Idris Elba, Hayden Christensen and Matt Dillon work the screen in a story about a crew of suave thieves set to carry out a major job. The thriller snatched $7.5 million in Friday ticket sales. Sliding to third place is the heavily-armed action fest “The Expendables.” The fiery, butt-kicking flick raised $2.7 million on Friday, after ruling the box office for the past two weeks and sitting comfortably at the top spot. Friday’s haul edges the total domestic tally of the Sylvester Stallone-helmed enterprise near the $75 million mark. “Eat Pray Love,” featuring marquee vet Julia Roberts, settled into fourth place. The soul-searching movie adapted from the runaway hit memoir of the same name, nabbed $2.2 million in box office receipts on Friday. The loopy cop comedy “The Other Guys” continues to power along, taking in $1.9 million and rounding out Friday’s top movies in the fifth-place slot. Although “Avatar” wears the crown for the highest-grossing film ever, the re-release of the James Cameron adventure, revamped with previously unreleased footage, failed to crack the top ten with only $1.2 million in Friday ticket sales. The Sylvester Stallone ode to macho action movies has raked in a total of $64.9 million throughout its two-week run in theaters. “Vampires Suck” lagged behind “Expendables” with $12.2 million. The horror spoof, which takes several shots at pop-culture’s current fascination with smoldering, mortal-loving vampires, took the second-place slot. The film has stacked $18.6 million in ticket receipts since the comedy hit theaters on Wednesday. “Eat Pray Love” continued to cull a steady stream of theatergoers with a weekend draw of $12 million. “Vampires” just barely fended off the Julia Roberts vehicle, which settled into third place during its second week on screens. The weekend bumps “Love” ‘s total gross to $47.1 million. Boasting a rap-friendly cast, “Lottery Ticket” took fourth place during its debut weekend. The comedy, which features hip-hop star Bow Wow as a young fella forced to bat away hangers-on after he lands a winning lotto ticket, rang up $11.1 million in ticket scans. “The Other Guys” maintained a healthy presence at theaters, besting three new flicks for a top-five slot. The Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg cop comedy pulled in $10.1 million, bringing its overall haul to $88.2 million. In a weekend packed with new movies, three debuts failed to crack the top five. “Piranha 3D” nipped at “Guys” heels with $10 million for sixth place while “Nanny McPhee Returns” and “The Switch” struggled through the weekend with $8.3 million and $8.1 million, respectively. Queen Latifah, Dolly Parton To Make ‘Joyful Noise’

The movie star and country queen attempt to save a gospel choir in their new flick. By Mawuse Ziegbe Queen Latifah Photo: Michael Kovac/ FilmMagic Country music and hip-hop royalty Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah are slated to rule things on the big screen as co-stars in the upcoming flick “Joyful Noise.” According The Hollywood Reporter, the musicians/actors will play a pair of ladies who work to stop the closure of a scrappy gospel choir. Latifah will portray the mother of a couple of teenagers who takes the reins of the Pacashau Gospel Choir after the choir leader dies. Parton will play the late choir director’s wife who is gunning for the chance to helm the singing group. The country diva and jazz/pop/hip-hop mogul may also bust out a few tunes together in the film. “Noise” reportedly has a musical angle and director Todd Graff, the writer-director behind the 2003 coming-of-age flick “Camp,” is working on the script. “Noise” marks a return to the silver-screen for Parton, who followed up her successful crossover from country to pop with Hollywood hits in the ’80s like “Steel Magnolias” and “Nine to Five.” Latifah will stick up for a choir that has fallen on hard times in “Noise” but the multimedia mogul has said she wants to help out promising actors in Hollywood as well. The hip-hop pioneer and big-screen A-lister broke down her reasoning for bringing rapper Common onboard for her last project, “Just Wright.” “Every time that I do a movie, when I get into a position of power and my voice actually meant something, I realized that I could no longer walk out onto a set and look at a bunch of white males,” Latifah, who was a producer on “Wright,” told MTV News earlier this year. “That was just no longer acceptable. I need to see dynamics. I needed to see what I just came out of from walking off the street when I came in here. Where are the women? Where are the people of color? I need to see that in front of me, ’cause I just don’t feel like it’s right.” What do you think about Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton joining forces onscreen? Let us know in the comments below!
