Al Gore’s sexual assault accuser has been revealed, and Molly Hagerty says she has evidence to support her claim that the former V.P. is a pervert fiending for tail. Molly, the Portland masseuse who made sexual assault accusations against Gore in 2006, tells the National Enquirer , “Al Gore is a pervert and sexual predator.” Moreover, “He’s not what people think he is – he’s a sick man!” The story broke last week, with Molly Hagerty’s name withheld a a possible sex crime victim. Gore was not charged in 2006 or 2009, when the case was reopened. It’s unclear why the cops took another look at this just last year for an alleged incident years earlier, but in any case, Hagerty is ready to go public – and tell all. HER STAINED PANTS : That’s Molly Hagerty with them . She already described Al Gore’s nasty moves in the bedroom … or at least when trying to get her into the bedroom. Now she’s seeking justice, no matter the cost. It’s been a rough month for the 2000 Democratic presidential candidate, who split with wife Tipper and also battled rumors that he had an affair with Laurie David . Demanding police launch a full investigation, Hagerty says, “I want justice served,” claiming to have a key witness, secret surveillance footage and … DNA evidence. We’re guessing said evidence would be the pants she’s holding above. Al Gore allegedly made that stain. It’s an image likely seared into our brains for a long time. Thanks a lot, Molly Hagerty .

In the new comedy Cyrus , Jonah Hill and John C. Reilly may have the showiest roles, but Marisa Tomei has the trickiest. While Hill (as her son) and Reilly (as her suitor) spar for her affections, Tomei has to make her Molly attractive but attainable, naive but not stupid, and loving but fundamentally misguided. Those are a whole lot of contradictions to play for any actor, but as Tomei explains it, it was all part of the process of working with directors Jay and Mark Duplass. The pair encourage the actors to make not just the characters but the dialogue and blocking their own, and Academy Award winner Tomei had plenty of ideas on how to do exactly that. The actress talked to Movieline this week about some of the challenges inherent in that process, how she reconceived the character counter to what the Duplasses had originally intended, and how Hollywood has a problem with allowing women be funny.

Bret Easton Ellis has written six books, and all six have been optioned by Hollywood. Of those six, four were made into movies, and they run the gamut from iconic to underseen, acclaimed to lambasted. Each day this week, Ellis will tackle a different adaptation of his books for Movieline, giving his take on what worked, what didn’t, and what went on behind the scenes. As a property, Less Than Zero heralded the arrival of two major talents: Bret Easton Ellis, the young author who had written the novel while in college, and Robert Downey Jr., who co-starred in the 1987 film adaptation as the wily junkie Julian. Still, while the Marek Kanievska-directed movie had style to burn and gorgeous production design (by Barbara Ling) and cinematography (by Ed Lachman), it softened and moralized Ellis’s sex-drugs-and-violence tale by considerable amounts.
