Lindsay Lohan Sentenced To 30 Days In Jail

Judge allows Lohan to complete Playboy shoot before going to jail. By Gil Kaufman Lindsay Lohan arrives at the Airport Courthouse in Los Angeles on Wednesday Photo: Toby Canham/Getty Images Lindsay Lohan is once again headed back to the sadly familiar confines of the Los Angeles County jail. The troubled actress appeared in court Wednesday morning (November 2) and was sentenced to 30 days in jail for violating her probation for not attending court-mandated therapy sessions and getting tossed from a community-service gig. According to TMZ , Lohan admitted in court Wednesday that she violated the terms of her probation from a theft case by getting booted from her community-service assignment at the Downtown Women’s Center. Judge Stephanie Sautner was adamant that she would not put up with any more slipups from Lohan, telling her, “This is known as putting the keys to jail in the defendant’s pocket … the first time you violate, you will go to jail.” Lohan will have to serve 12 days at the Los Angeles County morgue — where she’s already been logging some time — and then attend four therapy sessions by December 14. Sautner warned that if Lohan does not meet all those conditions, she will put a warrant out for her arrest and sentence her to an additional 270 days in jail. Sautner revoked Lohan’s probation in October following the revelation that the actress had not completed her obligations from a 2011 arrest on theft charges . What do you think of Lindsay’s return to the big house? Tell us on Facebook! This time around, Lohan will not have the option of serving her time at home , and given the overcrowding situation in L.A. jails, she is only expected to serve 20 percent of the 30 days, or around six days. She has to complete another 12 days at the morgue and four psychotherapy sessions by January 17 and complete her community service (53 days total) and therapy obligations by March 29. If she successfully meets those obligations, her probation will be over. Shockingly, TMZ also reported that Lohan was not immediately sent to jail because Judge Sautner decided to give her time to complete her nude photo shoot for Playboy magazine. Lohan lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley told the judge Lindsay must complete the shoot this week, which is reportedly netting her a cool $1 million. Lohan has one week to surrender and begin her fifth jail term, which is expected to start November 9. Lindsay Lohan Might Be Going Back To Jail

So it looks like Lindsay Lohan may be heading back to jail after all, possibly for up to a year, after a judge revoked her probation for blowing off her court ordered community service. Poor princess. She was handcuffed (kinda hot) and led out of the courtroom and released on $100,000 bail. Don’t ask me where she got that kind of money, doing nothing doesn’t pay all that well. Trust me. Anyhow, I guess the good news is I’ve got up to a years worth of prison leg wrestling jokes ahead of me.

That’s All Folks!! Looks Like Lindsay Blo-Han May Actually Be Headed To The Whoscow For A “Vacation”

LiLo just can’t get right… According to TMZ reports : In a blistering hearing, Judge Stephanie Sautner revoked Lindsay Lohan’s probation, had her cuffed and set a hearing for November 2, when Lindsay could end up getting as much as a year-and-a-half in jail. Judge Sautner said Lindsay Lohan was completely responsible for being thrown out of the Downtown Women’s Center, where the judge told her she must complete probation. The judge concluded Lindsay violated her probation, scoffing time after time, incredulously reading from the Probation Report — the section where Lindsay told the Probation officer she didn’t find the Women’s Center “fulfilling.” The word “fulfilling” REALLY set Judge Sautner off! She was clearly disturbed and confused at the fact that LiLo thought that she should be BENEFITTING from her community service. TMZ broke the story … Lindsay got kicked out of the Women’s Center after being a no-show 9 times. The Judge also doubted Lindsay attended sessions with her shrink once a week, as the Judge required. The judge dismissed Shawn Holley’s argument that Lindsay had to go abroad to work — where she was seen partying on several occasions — and that’s why she missed a number of community service appointments, saying, “She’s supposed to be an actress, from what I hear.” Ouch! “…from what I hear”?? Sounds like the Judge isn’t too impressed with Linds and her “acting” Judge Sautner recalled all the screw ups Lindsay has had in her court cases, reminding Holley that “Probation is a Gift.” As we reported, Lindsay’s bail bondsman appeared in court and will be bailing her out shortly. The judge could barely contain her contempt for the Probation Dept., which gave Lindsay a glowing report. Judge Sautner said the Probation Dept. had no authority to send Lindsay to the Red Cross to do her community service and said Lindsay would not get credit for the time she served there. Although Judge Sautner noted that due to overcrowding in jails Lohan’s potential 18 month sentence could be reduced, as angry as she was in the video we wouldn’t be surprised if she threw the book at her anyway

Rihanna Experiences Love, Loss In ‘We Found Love’ Video

Despite song’s sunny vibe, clip is a dark look at love and substance abuse. By Jocelyn Vena Rihanna on the set of her “We Found Love” video Photo: PUSHfotografik.com/Splash News Remember how that Irish farmer got mad at Rihanna for what he deemed her “inappropriate state of undress” on the set of the “We Found Love” video ? Well, on Wednesday (October 19), fans got to see what all the fuss was about when the singer officially released the clip. Directed by Melina Matsoukas (“Hard,” “S&M,” “Rude Boy” and “Rockstar 101”), the video features British model/boxer Dudley O’Shaughnessy as Rihanna’s green-eyed love interest. The smoldering couple make their way through Belfast, Ireland, experiencing the ups and downs of love. Despite the song’s feel-good, sunny vibe, the video is a dark look at love and substance abuse. The mini-movie opens with a voice that sounds somewhat like Rihanna doing a cockney accent saying, “I saw you screaming and no one can hear. You almost feel ashamed that someone could be that important that without them, you feel like nothing. No one will ever understand how much it hurts. You feel hopeless, like nothing can save you. Then when it’s over, and it’s gone, you almost wish you could have all that bad stuff back, so that you could have the good.” The speech certainly foreshadows the events of the video. Perhaps inspired by films like “Trainspotting” and “Requiem for a Dream,” Rihanna and Dudley play gutter punks who are not only addicted to each other, but also drugs and partying. The video is a montage of their love affair: a dizzying mix of sweet, tender moments, sexier, naked moments and moments where both Ri and Dudley are too messed up to care much about anything but the feeling of being high, often leading to fighting. They skate, they kiss, he watches as Rihanna frolics topless in a field, they party. All the good is bookended by fights (one notably in a car) and drug-fueled benders. And, in the end, all of it becomes too much for the couple and the frustrations and pressures of their love affair begin to become more about the rush than the actual love. In the end, they can’t handle each other, and Rihanna walks out, leaving Dudley passed out on the ground barely able to do anything to win her back. Buzzworthy Finds References Aplenty In ‘We Found Love’ > > > The track, produced by Calvin Harris , is the lead single from her highly anticipated November 21 release, Talk That Talk, the follow-up to 2010’s Loud. The video is vaguely reminiscent of Rihanna’s own recollections about her past abusive relationships. In a 2009 interview with MTV News , Rihanna opened up about her choice to always be honest with her fans. “One of the big things for me, I always want to help young women and give them insight into life experiences,” she explained. “One of those things is going through an abusive relationship like I did. But that’s one thing for me. So I don’t want to be the big domestic-violence spokesperson, because that doesn’t define who I am. But if I can help young women in any way, and that being one of the things they need help with, then I’ll do that.” What do you think of Rihanna’s new video? Share your reviews in the comments! Lindsay Lohan’s Probation Revoked

Actress could serve 18 months in jail for failing to perform her court-ordered community service. By James Montgomery Lindsay Lohan arrives in court on Wednesday Photo: Robyn Beck/ Getty Images Lindsay Lohan may be headed back to jail following a “blistering” hearing Wednesday (October 19) in a Los Angeles courthouse where a judge revoked the troubled actress’ probation and had her led out of the proceedings in handcuffs. According to TMZ , Judge Stephanie Sautner ruled that Lohan had violated the conditions of her probation — stemming from a 2011 arrest on theft charges — and set a hearing for November 2, at which time Lohan could receive a sentence of up to a year and a half in jail. Lohan, dressed in a flowing white Fendi dress with matching scarf tied around her neck, was placed in handcuffs and exited the courtroom, where she was processed by the L.A. County Sheriff’s Office. TMZ reports that she has already been bailed out. According to the conditions of her probation, Lohan was placed on house arrest and ordered to perform 480 hours of community service, which included working at a Los Angeles Women’s Center and the Los Angeles County morgue. She was also told to undergo psychological counseling and participate in a shoplifters alternative course. But according to Judge Sautner, Lohan failed to show up at the Women’s Center on at least nine different occasions, and she added that she doubted the actress was attending counseling once a week, as the court had ordered. Before she was taken away in handcuffs, Judge Sautner told Lohan that she must complete 16 hours of service at the morgue before appearing in court again November 2. Sautner said Lohan’s eviction from the Women’s Center for not showing up violated the terms of probation and she explained to the sometime actress’ lawyer, Shawn Holley, that the time spent at the Red Cross did not count toward her community service obligation. “No one has the power to change my sentence,” Sautner said. “Not the volunteer center and not probation. She is not getting credit for any time at the American Red Cross.” According to reports, Holley was unable to provide the judge with a count of how many hours Lohan had completed at the Women’s Center. “The way I look at it, Ms. Lohan has created an impossibility to perform the sentence that was given to her by her own actions,” Sautner told Lohan. “I certainly find that cause to revoke her probation.” And though she said Lohan could receive 18 months in jail, Sautner added that new laws and overcrowding would make such a lengthy sentence unlikely. Probation Officials Actually on Lindsay Lohan’s Side

Here’s one you likely didn’t see coming: Lindsay Lohan will get some critical support when she shows up in court tomorrow … in the form of probation officials . Probation Dept. sources close to her case say Linds has done most of what she’s required to do, and they will NOT recommend that she be thrown in jail. At her progress hearing, officials will tell Judge Stephanie Sautner in a written report that LiLo is in “substantial compliance” with the terms of her probation. They concede she was kicked out of community service at the Downtown Women’s Center for habitually failing to show up, but the fact is she has one year to complete 360 hours’ community service total and remains on track. Sources also say she has gone “regularly” to her psychiatrist. The shrink did not address Judge Sautner’s directive that Lindsay go for therapy once a week – she has not done so – but is satisfied with Lindsay overall. Lindsay has also completed her mandatory shoplifting class. Sautner made it clear that if Lindsay violated any court order, she would go to jail . We’ll see if she holds true to her word or cracks like Lindsay’s teeth . The hearing is set for tomorrow at 10 a.m. What do you think: Should Lindsay Lohan go to jail?
