You might think that after a two-hour interview with Diane Sawyer and an upcoming two-part Keeping Up With the Kardashians special , Bruce Jenner would have said just about all that needs to be said about his sex change. That’s probably the case, but given how many headlines (and paychecks) Bruce has been grabbing lately, it’s unlikely that the Jenner-gender gravy train will stop rolling any time soon. The next stop is an E! reality series about Jenner’s sex change , and you won’t believe how much the former Olympian stands to rake in from his KUWTK spinoff. Radar Online is reporting that Jenner will make $5 million for the show’s first season with an option to make even more if the show is picked up for a second season. To put that in perspective, Jon Hamm makes half that much for a season of Mad Men. The entire Kardashian family made $100 million for a four-season renewal of KUWTK. In other words, Bruce is making an almost unprecedented amount of cash for a first-season basic cable show, and those past financial problems that he mentioned in the Sawyer interview are very unlikely to resurface. Of course, the best part of his big-bucks deal with E! is that Kris Jenner reportedly won’t see a dime. Now that’s a victory that puts Olympic gold to shame.

As a new season of Game of Thrones approaches, fans of the show are positing theories and, of course, immediately being shot down by spoiler-happy D-bags who read the books. Emilia Clarke plays Mother of Dragons, Breaker of Chains, and Creator of Boners, Daenerys Targaryen on the series, and apparently she’s a big fan of surprises Either that or she’s every bit as crafty as the Khaleesi, because when asked about the future of her character in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Emilia was about as informative as Hodor. Here’s your requisite warning that potential spoilers lie ahead: First, Clarke was asked about the possibility of her character crossing paths with Tyrion Lannister and even though the they’re meeting is hinted at in a million Game of Thrones Season 5 trailers , Emilia played it coy: “I reckon they’d probably get along quite well, because they’re quite similar in so many ways,” Clarke says. Okay, so we know she’s BS-ing us on that one (You don’t have to have read the books to know that Tyrion and Daenerys bro-down at some point this season.), but how does she feel about all those Game of Thrones fan theories? THR was particularly interested in her thoughts on the identity of Jon Snow’s parents , as according to the popular R + L = J theory, Jon and Daenerys are actually related. As you’ve probably learned from AMC’s aggressive, multi-media “End of an Era” campaign (Hey, it is a show about advertising, after all.) the final episodes of Mad Men will begin airing on Sunday, April 5. The TV spots and banner ads may be a tad dramatic (as advertisements generally are), but the conclusion of the show that made AMC an original programming juggernaut does mark the end of an era in more ways than one. For one thing, Don Draper is following Tony Soprano, Walter White, and Dexter Morgan out the door, and who will replace him as TV’s most effed-up anti-hero? (As much as we love him, Saul Goodman/Jimmy McGill doesn’t seem quite up to the task. He’s just to…lovable.) But when Don stubs out his final cigarette, it’s not just the Age of the Brooding White Guy that will come to a close. The final seven episodes of Mad Men will likely explore the end of the 1960s, the end of a corporate world that’s dominated entirely by men like Don, and the end of what many consider to be the golden age of media and advertising. It’s a lot to take on, and based on comments he made almost four years ago, creator Matthew Weiner intends to wrap things up not with a bang, but with a massive jump forward in time: “What I’m looking for, and how I hope to end the show, is like … It’s 2011,” Weiner said. “Don Draper would be 84 right now. I want to leave the show in a place where you have an idea of what it meant and how it’s related to you.” Needless to say, it sounds as though Weiner is planning the exact opposite of a Sopranos-style non-ending. (Perhaps he learned his lesson from his time as a staff writer on the HBO mob series.) If he carries through on his plan, it’ll certainly be a shock to see Don Draper – the consummate man of his times – living in the 21st Century. Can you imagine Don/Dick receiving an-Emoji-laden text message from his grandkids? We can’t. The drama that occurs on any episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey can’t hold a candle to the real life drama of Joe and Teresa Giudice. The Real Housewives of Atlanta stars have faced countless legal issues in recent months, resulting in prison time for both Joe and Teresa. This time, Joe found himself in the hot seat again for using a fake driver’s license, and he pleaded guilty in a New Jersey courtroom this afternoon. Even though he admitted he is guilty, he asked for sympathy from the judge because he is “a real man” for confessing to the crime. Tom Murro, an eyewitness, states, “Joe snuck into the Passaic County New Jersey courthouse back door for today’s fictitious license sentencing wearing a green shirt, sunglasses, suit, flanked on both sides by bodyguards.” Murro adds: “This is the first time I’ve ever seen him wear a suit to this courtroom, he usually wears jeans and a blazer.” Joe is expected to begin his 41-month prison sentence upon wife Teresa Giudice ‘s release from federal prison next year. Until then, Joe is sentenced to house arrest, where he is taking care of his four daughters. Giudice must have cabin fever. He asked the judge for permission to “move his vehicles around in the driveway.” The judge denied his request. Ultimately, the judge slammed Joe Giudice with a $10,000 fine. His lawyer tried to argue the Giudice is “destitute” and couldn’t pay the fine. But consistent with the transparency of the Giudices’ financial history, that might not be true. Giudice was recently compensated $75,000 for photos and an interview in a weekly tabloid and on celebrity news show Extra. Because of that hefty pay check, the judge refused to lower the fine. In July 2013, Joe and Teresa were charged with fraud in a 39-count indictment. Their legal issues were the subject of speculation and chatter both on the reality show and in the media. Beginning April 5, AMC will air the final episodes of Mad Men , bringing to an end one of the most acclaimed and buzzed about TV dramas in recent memory. There’s an irony to the fact that a show that takes place in the 1960s has managed to so thoroughly capture the imaginations of 21st viewers, but the most fans will tell you that the characters’ recklessly old school ways are a major part of Mad Men’s appeal. Where else, on the modern television landscape, will you find successful professionals drinking in the middle of a weekday? Or anyone other than a European villain sucking down cigarettes without a passing thought for emphysema? Yes, the men and women of Sterling Cooper and Partners have never set foot on a treadmill and uttering the phrase “gluten-free” in their presence might get you branded a communist. But that’s not to say they haven’t changed with the times. Don and his cronies might still prefer liquor to LSD, but that hasn’t stopped them from making allowances for the growing influence of the ’60s counterculture as the series progressed. Hey, altered consciousness is altered consciousness, right? So exactly how much bad behavior did Draper and company get up to over the past 6-and-a-half seasons? Well, the folks over at AMC tallied things up , and some of the numbers might surprise you: 14 punches and 4 slaps were doled out. (Who knew the show was so violent?) Good news, Cougar Town: you no longer own the dumbest title on television. AMC has announced that the upcoming companion series to The Walking Dead will be titled… Fear The Walking Dead. For real!
