Speaking of pre-show moments, we’re pleased to announce that the star-studded cast of “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” will be on hand to help present the trailer for the highly anticipated film during our pre-show. The lovely Emma Watson helped break the news via her Twitter account on Wednesday (May 16). “#PerksOfBeingAWallflower Trailer is going to show at the @MTVMovieAwards pre-show!” Watson wrote . “@LoganLerman and Ezra and I will be there to present. : )” “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” is based on the popular Stephen Chbosky novel of the same name. The story revolves around introverted high school freshman Charlie (Logan Lerman) as he slowly comes out of his shell thanks to new friends, siblings Sam (Emma Watson) and Patrick (Ezra Miller). Watson will not only be attending the show as part of the “Perks” trailer presentation, but will also be representing “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2,” for which the lovely actress is a double nominee in the Best Female Performance and Best Kiss categories. “Deathly Hallows, Part 2” has a chance to take home major Movie Awards gold given their six nominations but faces fierce competition from “The Hunger Games” and “Bridesmaids,” which are the most-nominated movies this year. The MTV Movie Awards will air live from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, on Sunday, June 3, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. In anticipation of her next big screen adventure – the film Bling Ring , which is based on a group of Los Angeles teens who broke into the homes of celebrities such as Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan – Emma Watson has Tweeted a photo of herself on set. “Twitterers meet Nicki, Nicki meet twitterers : ),” Watson wrote along with the above photo, adding: “Nicki likes Lip Gloss, Purses, Yoga, Pole Dancing, Uggs, Louboutins, Juice Cleanses, Iced coffee and Tattoos.” And we love Emma, one of the most grounded, well-spoken young stars alive. A warrant for Chris Brown’s arrest is being prepared by the Florida State’s Attorney’s office Thursday after he allegedly stole a woman’s phone. Seriously. The supposed victim recently filed a police report against him, according to Deborah Doty, the public information officer for the Miami Police Department. “An incident report was filed against Mr. Brown, and the Florida State Attorney’s Office will be issuing a warrant for his arrest this afternoon,” she said . “I can’t tell you what time, but it will be today.” Chris Brown, whose remixes and relationship with Rihanna are making all kinds of news, is accused of snatching Chrital Spann’s cell phone outside a club. As he sat in a Bentley after exiting a nightclub, the police report states that Spann snapped a picture of Chris Brown chilling in the back of the car. That is when Brown allegedly snatched the phone, which he did not give back (obviously) and told Spann, “B!tch, you ain’t giving this to no website.” Eloquent, Chris Brown. Eloquent. Gabe Watson, the accused and so-called Honeymoon Killer, who spent 18 months in an Australian jail for manslaughter, was acquitted today in an American court. Watson has been cleared in the 2003 death of wife Tina, who died on their honeymoon , suspiciously, and not even two weeks after the couple got married. Prosecutors in Birmingham, Ala., alleged that Watson, 34, shut off his 26-year-old wife’s oxygen supply while scuba diving in Australia to collect insurance money. But, when the prosecution rested after two weeks, the judge granted a defense’s motion for an acquittal on the grounds the prosecution failed to prove its case. “The evidence is sorely lacking that it was an intentional act,” Judge Tommy Nail told the courtroom, according to The Birmingham News . “The only way to convict him of intentional murder is to speculate. Nobody knows exactly what happened in the water. I’m sure we’ll never know.” Watson’s mother collapsed in tears outside court. Watson was being tried in Alabama because that’s where he had been married and where the alleged murder plan had allegedly been hatched. He stunned members of Tina’s family when he pleaded guilty in Australia in 2009 to a lesser charge of manslaughter. Australian authorities agreed to release him to the United States to face charges here after American authorities waived seeking the death penalty. In 2008, while still facing murder charges in Australia, Watson married Kim Lewis, with whom he had gone to high school.

A Norman man trying on bras and dresses at a Penn Square Mall maternity store exposed himself to an employee, police said. Jeffrey Don Watson, 48, was booked into the Oklahoma County jail Wednesday on a complaint of indecent exposure and is free on $2,000 bail. Watson walked into Modern Maternity on Dec. 27 and started trying on dresses. He asked the store manager for help trying on bras, according to an arrest warrant affidavit. The manager told police Watson, whom she identified through a photo lineup, asked for assistance with a baby bump, an aid that replicates the shape of a woman’s stomach during the stages of pregnancy.
